The Hut
Colwell Chine Rd, Colwell Bay, FreshwaterWe arrived by boat and dropped anchor in Colwell bay - collected by tender by the really friendly Ellie who dropped us to the dock. It was our Son’s birthday and the team looked after us perfectly. We probably chose the nicest day of the year, weather wise, but it was a special visit and one we will always remember.
Thanks to the Hut team for a lovely afternoon.

School Green Rd, FreshwaterGreat service from great staff. Good was amazing. Worst thing was deciding what to choose. Sorry the photo only shows the aftermath but that is testament to how delicious it was. It was a rather tasty Stilton stack before!

Gate Ln, FreshwaterMy husband and I went here today with our Golden Retriever Max, I found the food lovely, atmosphere great, I'd like to say also two of your staff were lovely, I never got their names, one yound lady and one young man, your parents must be very proud of you. We will be back.

45 School Green Rd, FreshwaterWhat a great find in Freshwater. During our trip here we stumbled on this place and gave it a try as we can’t resist a good curry. This place did not disappoint. Super friendly service, a massive choice on the menu and pretty brisk food delivery it was great. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely visit again when we return to the island.

All delicious.
Real friendly service, lovely view of the beach.
Big selection of hot and cold snacks.
Nearby parking via RingGo.
Dog friendly beach just 2 minutes away.
Will definitely come back when next in the area.

The burger and grill
The burger and grill, Avenue Rd, FreshwaterHad the pleasure of trying the burgers in this great little place in Freshwater. Burger was superb - tender, juicy and tasty. Everything s burger should be. Chip portions were plentiful, neither of us could finish the portion. Service was very friendly. Can't really comment on atmosphere as we weren't dining in, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend

Colwell Captains Cabin Cafe
22 Colwell Chine Rd, FreshwaterA lovely spot to sit and have a bite to eat and watch the world go by on the water.
Delicious food (the crab sandwich is to die for!!), great service and a calm and relaxed atmosphere.
Probably not the cheapest, but so worth the price. The food was fresh, tasty and very quick.
10/10 would definitely recommend.
Kid-friendliness: Not just a seafood restaurant, plenty of options for all tastes and appetites.
Wheelchair accessibility: A handy ramp leads up the the patio and a small bump over the door frame.

Church Pl, FreshwaterFabulous food! I don’t usually leave reviews but felt I had to write this. We stopped at the pub after researching prior to walking Yarmouth/Freshwater loop. We got there a little after 2pm (pushing it a bit for lunch) but we were greeted warmly which was so nice, we probably had the best steak ciabatta sandwich we’ve ever had! Perfectly cooked medium rare, tender steak, all the accompaniments and paprika fries, absolutely delicious and well worth every penny! We’ll be back, thank you! ?

Staff very friendly. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Very Underrated. Only bad thing is closes earlyish even on weekends - 9 or 10:30 pm .

Rainbow Fish Bar
1-2 Avenue Rd, FreshwaterMy Mum and Dad have the same order every Friday night. Dad phones it through at 5pm and pops down the road to pick it up. Lisa always looks after them. Every week makes Dad a regular customer. He's 84 and that's why I am writing this review for him. Lisa, Neil thinks ? that you are wonderful ❤️
