Well behaved dogs welcome.
Have a nice stroll along the humber then pop in for great food and an excellent selection of real man's beers ( larger available)
Sloop burger is amazing and Lincolnshire sausage and mash well worth a try.
Staff friendly.
Premises very clean
Please don't make this place too popular as I want to be able to get a table on my return. Joking aside, this is a hidden gem and well worth popping over the river to visit

The Old Mill
Market Ln, Barton-upon-HumberThis is our favourite spot for Sunday Roast Dinner. The meats are always cooked deliciously and you get plenty. Been here many times now, and it’s not just the Sunday Lunches, the chef does an amazing job and a good menu with lots of excellent choices.\nStaff always very welcoming and the place has a really nice vibe.\nKeep up the good work guys!

Hasina Indian Takeaway
High St, Barton-upon-HumberHasina would get 5 gold stars if I could. It's food is restaurant quality and better than the local ones for flavour and taste. Lovely staff and talented chefs. I always look forward to my faves, Chicken Shashlick Karahi, Dansak and Pathia. I have tried almost everything on the menu and it's all bloody brilliant!

77 High St, Barton-upon-HumberFirst time in here just for a pot of tea.Immediately notice the relaxed friendly atmosphere.Did not have food but plenty advertised all at reas prices.Just a reminder of the tearooms I would be taken to as a treat as a kid. Perfect

The Old Tile Works
Off Dam Rd, Barton-upon-HumberThe food was excellent quality and value for money. We received a professional, welcoming and efficient service and we really enjoyed our meals. We had the ploughman's, tuna and mozzarella melt as well as the children's chicken nuggets which I must say are the best chicken nuggets I've seen been served.
We will absolutely return here and visit again as well as recommend to family and friends.

The White Swan
66 Fleetgate, Barton-upon-HumberThe White Swan is a proper community pub, with friendly staff selling good real ale (rare in Barton).
During the week the pub plays host to many local groups and societies, some organised but many just casual.
On Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes they offer a really good brunch ranging from traditional breakfasts to more exotic fare.
If in Barton a visit is highly recommended.

Whitecross St, Barton-upon-HumberI enjoy going in here, I love it when it's quieter, so relaxed, you know the times, getting older-some say too many young uns but they're sound, it's very lively on Saturday night.. everyone is made welcome. Great beer, football screen and lovely staff and landlord, decent outside area with benches. 15th century building.

Very clear menus so decided to give it a go. Yes a but pricey compared to others, But made up for it in quality and quantity of food.Have to say the best chicken in lemon sauce I've had in many a year

There was a real generous helping of chicken in the sweet n sour, the food was all piping hot, noodles were delicious too ? A really sweet girl took the phone call and served me in the take away too - really polite ?
Also, really fairly priced to the point that I double checked that we had been charged for everything!

Humber Bridge Garden Centre
Old Tile Yard, Far Ings Road, Barton-upon-HumberWent to look at the garden centre, but decided to go for a tea or alcoholic drink, the restaurant looked very high class, staff were very smart and courteous, we had the full English and it was perfectly cooked and served, will be back again this weekend for lunch. Well worth a visit

Sunflower Take Away
7 Market Pl, Barton-upon-HumberCame here for the first time in 6 years. Son loved the Beef curry and orders it every time. Special Fried rice is very special. Singapore noodles lovely and spicy. We have missed this place and will not wait as long to treat ourselves to this little gem of a takeaway again. Hope it never changes

The cheese and onion pasty was really good and freshly cooked as he had suggested, the first white and pink jammy were delightful as always. I love Gregg's and will be back.

Dynamic trendy and always at the forefront of culinary desire, the potatoes are sourced from nowhere beyond the western edge of the Trent basin, the soil of which is the Geiger counter of delicious chips with precise crucnh and bite. All the beef is matured for 28 days, not a day more nor less, and is delivered in what can only be described as cow limosines, and Hasan drives the tomatoes in his car daily for them to get the correct amount of Chlorophyll and sunlight. In fact he takes then to the beach, cinema, etc. Seating can be scarce so take a seat in the plush interior, and witness mastery in the kitchen while the delightfully enchanting hostess tends to you every need.
