Delicious food, they make the sauces themselves, which are fab, especially the chilli jam. Chicken is succulent and has a great, crispy gf coating. Hot honey tenders are particularly good, and the corn fritters a gorgeous surprise, so tasty. Brilliant value, delicious drinks, and Holly is a fab waitress, highly recommend ☺️

We have just been to the Sunday Buffet and could not recommend it enough- lovely food for a great price. The service has also been exceptional and we would not hesitate to come back. Thanks again!

Got a recommendation to eat at Asma as we’ve just moved to the area, went last night, it did not disappoint. Beautiful food, fabulous service. We will be back….Mr Scott and family had a great night!!!

Piri-Siri Mexican kitchen

Tried this restaurant as I was craving some Mexican food and did not disappoint. We ordered some chimichangas and enchiladas and the food was great. The service was also impressive as the staff kept checking on us and even went out of their way to say goodbye to us when we left ! Highly recommended and we will definitely be coming back ?

Been meaning to try here for a while, just wish we had visited sooner. Place spotless and lovely servers. Food spot on, hot and served well. We will definitely be back!

The Fox & Hounds

This was a lovely pub in Barton on the Wirral everything about the place was excellent we had Sunday roast which was lovely had a few drinks reasonable price but when It came to pay the bill £57. Was fine but then I was asked if I would like to give a tip. Awkward moments. I agreed to round it off to £60. For one moment I thought I was back in new York. Anyway don't let that put you off it was lovely. Tips are at the discretion of the customer not the staff.

Three Dollar Bill Pizza

Ordered using the website and then collected. All very easy and the food was ready shortly after I arrived to pick it up. Pizza, fried chicken and fries all tasted great. The pizzas are of such a generous size that there was some left over for the following day. Will definitely be back.

Broadway Steak & Wine

Absolutely amazing food and very kind and attentive staff. Outstanding food all came at the same time and piping hot. Pleasant atmosphere and highly recommended. Steak cooked to perfection as were the burgers and every part of the dining experience was excellent

Lovely cafe with exceptional food! Some great vegetarian options, I personally think their avocado on toast is the best on the Wirral. One of my favourites for brunch and coffee. Staff always friendly and love that it’s dog friendly!

QT cafè

First time as regular place busy. It certainly won't be the last time. Medium breakfast done to perfection (for me) and the cappuccino coffee 5 star. Great friendly service.

Went for the quiz and had a really great night.
Really friendly service behind the bar and a great atmosphere.
Quiz was fun.
Very inclusive and friendly and played on mobile phones.
I would recommend this highly both the venue and the quiz.

21st Amendment

Just had a beautiful roast dinner with my partner and took along one of our dogs. Food was absolutely divine, great quality and arrived at our table in good time. Staff always very friendly and welcoming, even our little pooch was waited on. Will definitely recommend and definitely return!! 5* all the way.

Mythos

This is such a good find and absolutely brilliant. Set in the centre of Hoylake, this place is easily missable however once inside the Greek vibe strikes you. The owner was lovely, and the food was fantastic. Tasty and well-sized, this place is well worth a visit. Well worth the money.

Another beautiful meal last night with me and my friends. Food was unreal starter and main. staff so friendly as always couldn't do enough for us especially in the heat .We will be back again,thankyou to all the team ,10+ for me x

tasting bar & kitchen

Just had our first wine tasting experience here and what a great experience it was. The staff quickly identified us as new customers, made us welcome and explained how the wine tasting worked.

The wines were really nice, Laura the wine expert explained how, where and the story behind each wine.
And as for the tapas we had with each wine, they very excellent, as good as anything we've ever had anywhere in our travels around Spain!

I'm certainly not suprised the wine tasting events are booked up for the year ahead.
Thanks to all the staff for making it a great afternoon, we hope to back for another soon ??

The Wro

The Wro Bar in West Kirby is a lovely spot with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly, attentive service that makes you feel right at home. I didn’t try the food on this visit, but popped in for a drink and was pleasantly surprised by the decent, medium-sized selection of beers — enough variety to satisfy most tastes without being overwhelming.\n\nThe highlight for me was the outdoor seating area, which is a real gem on a sunny day. It’s a great place to meet friends, relax with a drink, and watch the world go by in a laid-back, stylish setting.\n\nAll in all, The Wro is a solid choice for drinks in West Kirby, especially if the sun’s out and you’re after a relaxed social vibe with good service. Looking forward to coming back and trying the food next time!

The Gravesberie Inn - Pub & Grill

Just started celebrating my middle daughter’s 40th Birthday with a family breakfast and it could not have been better! We were welcomed nicely and the service was absolutely fantastic along with the atmosphere and the food. we all loved it, thankyou for making it so special.

I ate at a local restaurant the previous evening, at treble the cost of the two meals we had this evening.
The quality of our food was excellent, hot , well presented and really delicious.
Staff are really friendly and always create a lovely atmosphere.

Johnny Pye

Love the Johnny Pye, such a cracking proper pub. New managers have just given it a little spruce up and it's looking great. Brilliant friendly atmosphere. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Pizza Mamma

We can't forget to mention Pizza Mamma's sides. The garlic bread was crispy and full of flavor, and the folded garlic with cheese was a decadent treat. The kebabs were also delicious, with the Mammas Special Kebab being a standout. We're never disappointed with our orders from Pizza Mamma.

Went there for the first time tonight. Very friendly gents inside. We ordered special curry and char sui peking, both were gorgeous, the curry is how you always wish a curry would taste but never does, until now anyway! Thank you!

Absolutely gorgeous food!!! Perfect service too & always quick with the deliveries, nice fresh hot food. This is our go to everytime, the pizzas are insane, the kebabs are amazing & the portion sizes for the price is just even better! I recommend this place to anyone that’s thinking about it

Had a party at NYX and it was absolutely brilliant. Well run by people who made the whole process so stress free. They know what they are doing at NYX, Jenny and Nick were so helpful. I would definitely recommend this venue.

Not a lot for me to say about this place. I grew up with it, it's never changed and I've never found a Chinese chippy as good. Food is amazing, cofe who runs it is a legend and the prices have always been cheap, when ever I come back anywhere near the wirral i HAVE to come here for the chicken wings and fried rice

8 of us went tonight as part of our curry club sampling various indian restaurants on the wirral. The service was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. You can take your own drink and they even put it in the fridge to keep cold. We all had various meals and starterts. The food was very good and it all came in a reasonable time. Would highly recommend this restaurant and we scored it 8 out of 10

Rose & Crown

Great traditional local pub with great atmosphere and great choice of beer and served by friendly staff. Just been tastefully refurbed and still maintains its cozy, warm and inviting feel.

The Shippons Pub & Kitchen

Have been on a number of occasions its pglorious! Very cosy feel, staff are really caring and kind and go the extra mile . The food is SO reasonably priced and is always delicious; they do homemade deserts and have tasty specials on .Great portion sizing too have tried most things on the menu now and have never once been dissappointed!! Highly recommend a visit !

Popsy's licensed coffee shop & bistro

Called in as I saw the sign it was open.
Nice atmosphere, friendly approachable staff. No flapjacks on, so had a scone and jam. Really comfortable seats and pleasant background music. Love the China cups.

The Plasterers Arms

After a summer walk on the beach, an al-fresco pint in the beer garden, surrounded by the clamoring of children in the park. Kinda perfect.

In winter it's all cosy and snug in there!

Aroma Cafe

Friendly welcome. Clean and tidy. Quick service. Usual prices for food. Order was taken efficiently and accurately (including modifications). Cheese in toast was good quality mature cheddar with nice flavour profile. Curly fries were piping hot and a good sized portion to share. Cappuccino was well presented with good froth and lots of chocolate powder. Toilets clean and large. Parking outside for free and car park around corner (currently free but who knows with Council).

Bank Café

I love being there. It’s such a beautiful, calm spot that helps me start my morning peacefully with a caramel latte. The place is well managed, and the barista lady is super nice and smart.

Barbetta's

Had an excellent brunch at Barbettas, food and service both excellent. Three had a full English breakfast and one poached eggs and Advocadoon sour dough.
Good quality ingredients, chunky slices of sour dough toast, basically a generous plate of tasty food. Would recommend!

Travellers Rest

This is a lovely old pub, and one that has maintained a very traditional feel. I visited on a Saturday evening when it was sadly rather quiet - great for me and a couple of friends having a conversation, but not so good for the pub as I'm sure they'd like to have seen the place ten times busier.
This is a classic example of a beautiful traditional local pub that'll be in danger of disappearing and its loss mourned by the local community who never fully utilised it.

Fiore - Cafè Bistro

This restaurant is truly outstanding! The flavours of the dishes are indescribable. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The atmosphere is serene, elegant, and wonderfully cosy. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for providing such an exceptional dining experience!

Brown Bear Coffee

Absolutely loved the atmosphere. First time visiting and I’m absolutely going to become a regular. The service was lovely and kind and the food was really nice. Had the cinnamon raisin bagel which I’d recommend it smells so nice and puts you in a cosy mood. Definitely a good place to go with family.

Lily's Thai Restaurant

What a place! The staff are lovely and the meals, mixed starter (YUM!) and then green & Panang curries, amazing! So authentically Thai and the meals and sauce that went with the meats I have to say, I’m so so happy! Wednesday night had 4 groups in and nothing was a problem for the staff. Pleasant, calm and very nice.
The place has a minimal style to it (adopted from the previous owners) but it’s light and airy with full size windows and simple tables. Me and my wife has a glorious time and the staff were amazing! We WILL be back!

WILD INN

Ordered a couple of round of drinks, had a slight issue with one of the cocktails (personal taste/preference) and it was replaced with no fuss. Superb staff, delicious drinks and great atmosphere.

The Village Cafe

We go quite often nice friendly staff very quick services prices reasonable would recommend trying there stew with beetroot and a crusty roll lovely Dave and Julie .

Dice and Pins

Fun afternoon out playing a range of board games including Coup, Alien and Furnace. Great to have games for all ages and tastes! Food was pretty standard: personally I would have liked some lighter options. The staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back. ?

The Green Hut

I tried the Green Hut on the recommendation of my older brother. It's a bit of walk from Morton town but well worth it. The Hut is a small affair with outdoor seating only.

The Dolphin fish and chip shop

Best fish n chips I’ve ever had! These guys have nailed it. You’d think it was an easy thing to achieve but it’s evidently really not.

We went to the seaside and for a treat we opted for the traditional post sea feast. There were not as many take aways here as there are in other towns - or we didn’t find them - so our search brought us here. At first given the offer was Chinese/English food we thought we might not get the trad chippy experience we were hoping for - but we could not have been more wrong!

Honestly the chips were chunky golden and creamy tasting - no skimping on potato variety here! Plus the portion was large. The fish was gorgeous - a large piece in golden crispy satisfying crunchy and delicious - all served wrapped in paper with liberal salt and vinegar. I’m telling you this was better than any I’ve had in any chippy in many years. I could not recommend the Dolphin highly enough. Do not hesitate! Bring cash though as they don’t accept card at the time of writing Aug. ‘25

The Grange

We had a funeral here for our late mum. It was no problem booking it and arranging food etc, they put on our music, had our photos on the TV and did everything they could to make the day run smooth as possible, all the staff were excellent and the buffet was superb. Would highly recommend for any function.

Shamrock Cafe

After staying in the midlands for a couple of years it was really nice to return home and get a proper greasy spoon brekky! None pretentious, no snotty egg, just a proper well cooked breakfast! Also got a stacked vegetarian binlid which was a winner too.

Vegetarian options: Typical vegy options, vegy sausage, hash browns, eggs, mushrooms etc.

Pisces Traditional Take Away

Rang these guys up asked if took cards, as couldn't find a chippy after lovely morning Hilbre walk. Can honestly say they were exceptional. Lightly battered haddock was cooked to perfection. Thankyou we will see you again with my own fork haha.Parking: Street bays

Kents Chip Shop

Kent Chip Shop serves up some of the best comfort food in the area, and their chicken and sweetcorn soup is a standout! It's hearty, flavorful, and perfect for a cozy meal. The egg fried rice is always cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning and a great mix of textures. And the curry sauce—absolutely delicious! Rich, creamy, and with just the right amount of spice, it's the perfect companion to any dish. The gravy is equally impressive, smooth and savory, ideal for pouring over chips or anything else. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable for such high-quality food. Highly recommend for anyone in the area!

Brunch Eastham

Lovely staff, so nice and helpful. Food was plentiful and the tea spot on! Claire out front was great to chat to and my hubby visits that often, she knows his order. They were lovely with our dog too. Offered him water as soon as we entered. A gem of a place. The only reason for 4 stars on atmosphere was that this is a café not a candles and soft music place/sports bar/venue. Not sure any cafe could score more ?. Lovely and clean and tables were big enough to actually enjoy your food without being on top of each other which was nice!Dietary restrictions: A clear sign as soon as you enter asks about dietary needs and a varied menu covers most requirements.

We love it here it has proper curry and the nicest bbq sauce. The meals are lovely proper big portions they don’t skimp. You can ring up and place your order and go pick up in 20 mins. They also deliver. Salt n pepper chips are lovely and so are the Sui Mai . I like special fried rice bbq sauce with chips

Very busy when I went but we'll worth the wait I ordered Duck curry with fried rice and a beansprouts dish the food was 5 star excellent best duck curry I have ever had highly recommend Silver River.
