Market Pl, Middleham, LeyburnSublime food, well worth every penny (even though not really that expensive considering), and charming service. We had the cod and bream duo and the steak. 10/10. I'd go all the way back just to eat there again. :)

Market Place, LeyburnNice, spacious seating areas, both indoors and out. Traditional theming looking a little tired in places. Staff are fine & friendly. Dogs are welcome, enjoyed sitting outside in the beer garden. Nice selection of drinks on offer. Food is reasonably priced and all dishes we tried were nice. Enjoyed our afternoon in Layburn.

Soprano's Pizza
1A High St, LeyburnDrove over from Masham to collect as there is a lack of takeaways that way and wasn’t disappointed. Pizzas and both Kebabs were superb, meats were fresh and properly cooked. Lad on counter was friendly and order was ready for collection when we arrived.

The Queen's Head, Finghall
W Moor Ln, Finghall, LeyburnWe had past the Queen's Head, numerous times on our holiday, thinking it was closed, well do not be fooled. We finally visited on our last night and by get out of the car and going in, we found out it was amazing and open, as it has been all the time. It has a lovely seating area out the back which we didn't realise. Well the staff were very friendly, the food amazing and atmosphere great. In away good job we had triggered it was open, otherwise we would have been there every night. Thanks to the staff for making our last night very memorable and should we be up that way again.

Main St, Askrigg, LeyburnWe've visited the Crown in Askrigg many times and it never fails us. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly, the owners Louise and Jim will put themselves out to please you. It's got a lovely atmosphere and the locals are friendly too. Will be back again next year.

The Blue Lion Inn, Pub and Restaurant with Accommodation
Main Road, East Witton, LeyburnStayed here around the time of a wedding at Jervaulx Abbey. 11 of our family stayed. The rooms were good. It was very hot weather and the hotel kindly lent us fans. The breakfasts were beautifully cooked. We had a meal in a private dining room the night before the wedding. The food was delicious. The staff were excellent. The village is very pretty. We will come to stay here again.

Only down side doctor who was spoiled for me on the TV apart from that great pub ?.

Station Rd, Brompton, Northallertonfirst time away from Newcastle on New Years Eve, stayed at the Village Inn nice place but quiet and was closing early. we had had lunch at the Crown and the folks were very nice so we decided to take a walk a long and wow what an amazing time we had. the locals made us feel so so welcome. we stayed and saw 2024 in with them . thank you to Helen her family the other folks and especially the owners of this pub for making our time with you so special. 19 High St, Pateley Bridge, HarrogateI suffer from coeliac disease but this fabulous place has a gluten free menu and they were really informed and aware. The food was delicious, the portions were generous! I heartily recommend the restaurant at the Crown Inn especially if you have dietary requirements.

Choice of beer and wine are very good, as was the food menu. Alfie my dog was spoilt rotten with treats from the locals.i had a first class stay and WILL DEFINITELY return in the future . thanks to the staff and locals for making my stay so enjoyable ?

Wensley, LeyburnBusy and popular pub that also sells homemade food. Good range of pub food and some nice desserts. The scampi was lovely and chips were good but the peas were overcooked. I can recommend the bakewell tart with ice cream.

The Black Bull Middleham
E Witton Rd, Middleham, LeyburnA very quiet pub when we went in, real ales were great and kept well. I did find out this pub is up for sale so maybe that is why the atmosphere was a bit lacklustre.
