The Orchard at Grantley Hall
GRANTLEY HALL, RiponWe absolutely love Grantley Hall, the service is always amazing from the second you arrive at the gate. The level of detail throughout the whole place is 10/10 the grounds are stunning and lovely to have a walk around before drinks, or between courses.
There is always plenty of staff to show you around. I love going for lunch in the Orchard restaurant, the staff are always so attentive but in a lovely informal and respectful way, I absolutely love how passionate all the staff are about the hotel and the amenities, they really can’t do enough for you.
I have never stayed as we live close by, so can’t rate that part of the hotel but a regular visitor we are never disappointed .
The food is fresh and ingredients exceptional quality, it’s not cheap but you do walk away content that you got what you paid for - which I always think is a really important part of paying for a meal.
Great work Grantley, keep it up!

Fletchers Restaurant
Grantley Hall, RiponA superb dining experience from start to finish - from initial greeting at the main gate to a very warm welcome at the hotel entrance. The hotel is really beautiful and the staff are incredibly polite, professional and friendly. We chose Fletchers Restaurant for our evening meal and the food was absolutely incredible!!! The staff ensured that our evening was a very special one and indeed, nothing was too much trouble for them. We came away feeling that we had received amazing value and will definitely be back for more!!! Many thanks.

Grantley Hall, RiponWe had an amazing birthday meal here! Ordered a variety of snacks, small plates and a side to share between us, and they were all so good! Particular highlights were the yakitori salmon and the pork bao buns. To finish, we had the matcha and white chocolate fondant and the single origin chocolate, which were both scrummy. The koi mocktail was also a favourite! The staff were so lovely and attentive throughout, and we really valued their recommendations and help choosing dishes. It was clear they all knew their stuff inside out. Highly recommended!

The Bull Inn
Church St, West Tanfield, RiponGood honest, friendly and welcoming pub with rooms. Beautiful bear garden heading down looking over the river, good choice of food and drinks with a family atmosphere.
The rooms are typical for an old building, but plenty comfortable
