Pre ordered for takeaway. I love it when you find a decent eatery when away from home, and I can say with a shadow of doubt, this is one of those gems of a find. Excellent food and service. Perfect and will definitely use again when next in Richmond. Thank you.

The Cavern Music Bar

Spent many a year wondering when this place opened, so much so it became a personal legend. On finally entering we were met with amazing cocktails, great service and the owner and co was fantastic. As we now live in Richmond, we will be back often.

Morro Lounge

Meal out when we had visitors. Food was excellent and everyone really enjoyed their meal. The tapas option is fantastic for anyone who has a small appetite or wants to try several different items.

Costa Coffee

Costa are Costa and you get a good coffee but sometimes the staff let the experience down.
Called on a Saturday afternoon. It was quiet. A smile and a bit of conversation would have been pleasant. Felt like we were being a nuisance for actually asking to be served! Plus, there were 3 staff on, few customers, but noone clearing the mucky tables! ??‍♀️

Pizza Pronto of Richmond

Fantastic service. I have an onion and garlic allergy and the men were so helpful and accommodating to make sure I could have the chicken wrap with no contamination. They were friendly, funny and kind to my 3 year old daughter. I would definitely visit again. The food was also fantastic and the kitchen was extremely clean.

Love this place.
The staff are outstanding, polite & very helpful over the menu. Especially with the allergy information & suggestions. Nothing is to much trouble. All complimented by a varied menu excellently prepared & served.

The Bishop Blaize

Great little hotel. We stayed over just for one night, visiting friends and watching a play at the Georgian Theatre Royal.
Perfect position. Fabulous staff, in particular Tom who seems to work 24/7.
Comfy bed and a good nights sleep.
Could do with a little revamp to bring room 2 up to date, but very comfy.

The Bay Horse Ravensworth

First visit for evening meal. Lovely welcome and food and service were excellent. A very easy recommend. I would recommend booking as it was busy for midweek.

First visit was so enjoyable, we went back on a very busy Saturday evening. Sam and team were just as welcoming. Enjoyed another lovely meal with attentive and excellent service, thank you.

Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Shoulder Of Mutton Kirby Hill

We decided to call in for some food on the way back from York. We had the burger as we didn't fancy the Sundays dinner and I can honestly say it was it was the best food I have tasted in a long time. Everything on the plate was freshly cooked and home made and tasted amazing.

Two Dales Bakery

This bakery is fabulous with everything they bake. On this occasion, just want to highlight their Thursday night regular offering of freshly baked Pizzas. Delicious. Pre order online, or can call in and wait. Piping hot, to take away, a real treat.

The Angel Inn

Great local pub with superb homemade food, menu changes all the time, so you never get bored of the same food. Would always recommend booking a table, especially if you have a dog with you as they are allowed but only in the bar area.

The Turf Hotel

From when we arrived we had a very good welcome
The bar was lovely bar staff were very helpful
Room was just what we needed
Food was nice for a meal
Breakfast was spot on service great
Parking bit of a pain but this is a Richmond thing and not Turf Hotel
We will return and if we get same service we will be Happy

Red Lion Inn

What a great pub this is , good beer and great atmosphere. It’s like going back in time.
Well worth a stop off for a pint

The Talbot Hotel

This place is wonderful landlady was brilliant beer was spot on and the locals very nice people would recommend you visit it when in Richmond it's in the market places all sports and cheap drinks what more do you need very clean toilets we're in good condition and clean

The Brownlow Arms

It was my 1st visit to the Brownlow Arms and we weren't disappointed.
The service and food was fantastic and it was very competitively priced.
With such a varied menu, we are already planning our next visit.

The Unicorn

The lady who runs the place let us in to our room early she was so helpful. The room was quite dated but it's very clean beds comfortable separate bathroom with shower but only for our use. It is right in town so close to everything dog friendly which is a bonus as we took two dogs have a key for back door so can come and go as u please not one complaint and can't wait to go back.Rooms: Rooms are quite dated it's an old building but clean and has everything u needNearby activities: There is a river with some lovely waterfalls and lots of places of interest near by

Number 29 Tapas Bar

Great tapas bar, fantastic hummus, meatballs pardons, prawns, potatoes ....well actually it was all good! Try it, probably best to book ahead. Beer and wine is excellent too and excellent staff...

Forge at Middleton Lodge Estate

The most incredible place! Am loathed to recommend as If it becomes too popular (which it will) I'll never get in again! It was the most enjoyable and memorable night I've had!

Edwina's Cakes

Love the made in house delicious cakes and tray bakes from Edwina's cakes... owner's lovely, and some of my favourites have been a loaded with fruit Simnel cake (Easter only), date slice, and the coconut biscuits are divine, the coffee is great too. Cute little place, with consistently good produce the many times I've been in. Well worth a visit.

Golden Lion

Only had a drink here,didn't eat so can't really comment on that,however the pub itself was clean nicely decorated and had a good atmosphere,the lad behind the bar was really helpful and gave us some tips on the area and where else to go and visit.

Tasty Macs

We were on holiday from Spain and found Tasty Macs on Google.There was 10 of us, we ordered 10 sandwiches, 4 baked potatoes with piri piri chicken and a pasta salad.The food was made very quickly even with there been so many of us.The sandwiches and potatoes were delicious and the pasta salad got the approval of the children.Hope to visit again soon.Rebecca

The Estate Cafe & Catering Services

What an absolutely diamond of a cafe, I had a large breakfast, which was one of the best breakfasts I have had, the girls are so friendly. Top notch 5 stars could quite easily be 6.

The guy running this place is awesome, we were driving through Richmond late at night and he stayed open for us to get fed and gave us great local info.

He couldn't do enough to help, what a star!

Holly Hill Inn

Lunch for 8 adults + 2 toddlers... lovely. Wide menu choices and everyone was happy. Beautiful views over towards Richmond from the top garden. Sheltered cosy lower garden. Only 15 minute walk (all uphill!) from Bridge Street Bridge!

Capri

As it was a Monday evening, the restaurant was quiet.
We were quickly given the menus and our drinks order taken.
The food arrived within 15 minutes. The portions - for us - were above average. The sea bass was excellent and the Risotto very tasty. We shared a tiramisu between us. Very nice
Would recommend Capri based on our visit.

Perfect!!!
The best fish and chips I had since Leo Burdock in Dublin.
Crispy fish, hot chips, big portion.
Five stars more than deserved!!!

Fratellos

Great menu, good wine list and very tasty food. Enter your car reg into a machine at Holiday Inn reception and you don’t have to pay for parking. All 4 of us enjoyed our meal, carbonara with extra chicken, pizza, risotto and potato skins, with a bottle of rose. Under £80 the lot. Would recommend this as a good meal stop on the A1.

Sunrise Chinese Takeaway

After reading the mixed reviews thought I would give it a try. I wasn’t disappointed. The shredded beef was exactly as I like it, a little bit chewy, pecking sauce was nice just could have been spicer. Chicken with ginger and spring onion was delicious. Really tasty. Only let sown was the Salt and Pepper chips. Hardly any onions and peppers. Big portions.
