The Pantry
1 Doctor's Ln, BamburghVisited the Pantry on our way back from the beach this morning so that we could treat ourselves to cake again to have with a pot of tea back at the cottage. Delicious, moist cake as ever.
The owner told me she'd prepared the welcome pack for our holiday cottage and that was perfect too. A very nice loaf, butter and eggs and some rhubarb and raspberry jam that we'll be taking home with us.
Can't recommend highly enough.

The Copper Kettle Tea Rooms
21 Front St, BamburghDropped in on a very busy Sunday afternoon and selected scones with cream from the very extensive menu. Very pleasant staff and lovely rustic surroundings.
Toilets out through the courtyard where dogs are allowed.
This place is one of those gems that we all wish for when out walking.
