The White Swan Inn
Warenford, BelfordHad an amazing stay for the night here. Our eyes were too tired to keep driving and we found the white swan on google. What a treat. Beautiful small inn with what should be Michelin star food. Great bar with friendly staff who know what’s good in this world. Free parking, comfortable clean rooms, pet friendly, free top notch breakfast.

The John Dory
8 West St, BelfordProbably best fish and chips I’ve ever had and I live in a fishing town with really good fish and chips. Only planned to eat here once but couldn’t not go back as so good.
When holidaying again in Northumberland , I’d have no hesitation in travelling from 10+ miles for this chip shop as by far the best.

The Salmon Inn
31 High St, BelfordWe stopped at The Salmon Inn, Belford while camping nearby on a rainy day — and it was the good choice! Our table enjoyed a great mix of pub classics: tasty gammon, a juicy burger, crispy fish & chips, and comforting sausage & mash. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavour.
The kids (and grown-ups!) loved the darts and pool tables, which kept us all entertained while the rain poured outside. It’s a proper friendly local with a welcoming atmosphere.
Bonus tip — there’s a lovely little playground just 2 minutes up the road, perfect for letting the kids burn off some energy after lunch or dinner. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

South Rd, BelfordWe called in today had cooffees cakes and chips the prices were good food was outstanding and service the best staff very friendly and helpful i will definately visit again on my return visit to banburg many thanks for making our fist experience at your cafe an enjoyable one
