Jill's Catering
Folly House, Folly Ln, Catton, HexhamWe've called in a couple of times when walking in the area. The first time, we didn't know it existed but spotted it and thought we'd give it a go. The weather was good so we sat outside having nice hot drinks and scones. The views were fantastic as was the food and drink. We've since called in on the way back from another walk and this time we had drinks and cake, the salted caramel cheesecake was probably one of the nicest desserts I've ever had, amazing! The food that was coming out all looked great, we'll definitely return to have a proper meal. Lovely service and food in a great spot.

The Elk's Head
Whitfield, HexhamDecent pint, proper grub with good portions and very reasonably priced, very good service, friendly and welcoming - what’s not to like! Highlights include the garlic prawns, shin of beef with horseradish mash and what they call a panna cotta but is something special all of their own. Make a point of stopping by.
