We have made several visits for coffee, breakfast or lunch and can't fault the friendly service, superb food and wonderful coffee. We have now started giving out First Bite vouchers as presents. Much appreciated by Henry the dog too, who now pulls hard on his lead every time I try to walk him past... A lovely addition to Langholm's High Street - thanks a lot!

A box of cakes does sound like a big deal, but Castle View's fathers' day selection is truly great. I was gifted one box and enjoyed it so much we immediately ordered two more for sons in law. Absolutely delicious hand-made, beautifully presented selection of cakes and fancies, but you have to order in advance, they go so fast!

this is worth the stop. generous portions made to perfection. Staff are absolutely on it with service and polite and friendly... great with the kids. Tables are always clean and ready. Note that sometimes table reservations are essential as it can be a busy wee place.

Pelosi's Corner Cafe

Gone downhill since we were last there. No longer has a decent food menu. It's basically just a coffee shop now that does rolls. Didn't even have and traybakes when we were there.Still a lovely place to go for a coffee and I would recommend it but not great if you want a proper lunch.

Got there quite late thinking touch and go whether i get served or not. Not an issue and the food arrived pretty quick.Ordered duck in peeking sauce and its lovely, pleanty of meat and veg.I'm pretty small so the portion was perfect, if you've a bigger appetite you'll want rice chips etc, but for me this is bang on.
