Stopped in with the family on Sunday lunchtime while passing through Moffat. Great coffee, friendly staff and good prices - not much more you can ask for! Great they have a baby changing table in the toilets too. Well done team!

Claudios Restaurant

The staff were fantastic, the restaurant layout and ambiance was great. Couldn’t fault it. Starters were really delicious and fresh. Two main courses, pasta and calzone. Pasta was again delicious. The calzone looked beautiful. The space and pastry were exquisite. And then the shock. As I cut into it it was clear that the chef had used thin sliced processed ham from what seemed like a budget pack. The ham was revolting. Packed together in clumps of three and four and not even attempted to be separated. It wasn’t a good look or taste.
This is a such a good restaurant. Stand out staff. Most of the food was beautiful. Just need to be consistent with the produce.

We came here today for afternoon tea for mother's day and if I could give more than 5 stars I would!
Staff were absolutely brilliant, especially the owner who's name I didn't catch but she was so lovely!
The afternoon tea was beautiful, and such amazing value, the flowers for the Mums was such a special touch too, we will definitely be back. Thank you

Stopped by Mutchies Munchies and honestly loved it. the food was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. Staff was super friendly and the vibe was chill definitely a great place when you’re craving something tasty

Best Pizza And Kebab House

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for donating 5 pizza's for my charity event yesterday to help raise money for British heart foundation in memory of my Dad. I was informed that the 2 owners of the takeaway Mr Sinan and Mr Umut would deliver these personally to the place I was holding my event at. I was updated when they would arrive and even when they were on the way. (They even arrived earlier than expected which was fantastic) and was very hot when they arrived. These didn't last very long when the bowlers smelt them and ended up being a very along queue at the kitchen to buy them and looking at everybody's plates they were very much enjoyed. Thanks again for your very kind donation and to Mr Sinan and Mr Umut for taking the time to deliver these personally.

The Coachman Bar

Stopped at the Coachman Bar for lunch on our way back to Newcastle.
Heather Georgie and staff were so friendly and hospitable, they even sang happy birthday to my niece when they found out it was her 50th also gave her some choccies and wine. That was so lovely of them.

Moffat Woolen Mill restaurant

The food as usual was lovely, however the last few times we've been in there was no filter coffee available.We were told when we visited yesterday it was for the buses only!As soon as the first bus drew up the filter coffee machine was put on.I feel this should be made available to everyone, it is on the menu board after all.Now charging 10p a satchet for ketchup.

Chen Wok

Brilliant food had the set meal for 2 plus some prawn crackers
Nice chicken noodle soup, chicken curry ,chicken balls, and rice
absolutely lovely food

Rumblin Tum

Lovely breakfast and a sausage for the dog. We were seated in the sofa area but had to move due to my mobility issues. This was no problem for the lovely lady who served us. There was plenty of room between tables which was great as there were another couple of dogs nearby.

Spice India

Spice was about the only restaurant open in Moffat and although we were considering another curry for dinner it wasn't our first choice. The entrance is on the basement down some steps and is not particularly welcoming. The restaurant area itself is a bit 'cafe-ish' in its appearance. However this doesn't matter when you get the vast menu and taste the quality of the food. Service was very good too. We will definitely be going back, but I really wish it felt a bit more welcoming especially in a tourist inspired town.

McDonald's

Ordered food through the mcdonalds app on Saturday morning and I got to the store it said two of my items were not available when clearly they were. This happens all the time with the app and its very frustrating. I explained this to the gentleman at the first window and he was the most helpful member of staff and sorted out my order. Big thanks to Caleb for all your help!
