I'm so glad I found this gem of a restaurant after moving to Stafford and even better it's halal- I've tried quite a few of the chef special dishes and the shish chicken and lamb and it's always really yummy and the meat is so soft. Wow! Amazing food again from the Spread Eagle. This is the second time we have been in and it won’t be the last. We have eaten both times off the Tapas menu 5 for £25 is such good value for money as the portions are decent. (I ate so fast I forgot to take photos :) ) . The tapas dessert menu is also amazing definitely try the Nutella mini doughnuts and it’s great you can get 3 tapas style desserts and have abit of everything you fancy. Worth a try and can recommend. Also lovely friendly staff.

We had a wonderful dining experience at the Bengal Lounge while celebrating my wife’s birthday.

From the moment we arrived, the staff provided excellent customer service they were friendly, attentive, and especially patient with my indecisive children, which made the meal stress-free and enjoyable.

The food was outstanding, great taste, generous portions, and beautifully presented dishes that showed real care in preparation. Everything we ordered exceeded expectations.

This Bengal Lounge made our celebration feel special, and we’ll definitely be returning.

stayed overnight in our campervan 7/8/25 and had a lovely time. from the initial phone all I made enquiring to stay the staff were warm, friendly, welcoming and genuinely lovely. the pub itself is absolutely adorable and we spent the evening tucked in a little nook and playing with the multitude of adorable dogs that the locals had brought in. The dogs were a highlight to be honest, super cute - Sausage and Bean you made our night!!! the food was really nice, we had the ploughman's platters, chips, sausage roll and baked camembert between the four of us- all absolutely lovely and the chips were piping hot, fresh and crispy! the garden is lovely with a play area and chickens! lovely views of the countryside. we live a long way away but next time we are up this neck of the woods we will definitely be back! thank you for having us - wish you were my local and you are lots of fun.

Had a takeaway from here last night for first time. Food arrived still piping hot which wasn't expected with the road works everywhere. I ordered one of their smashed burgers and my husband had a pizza, both really tasty with loads of flavour and we also tried the potato tots and suprised how many we got it was a good job I didn't order a side of chips as would of never had the room, potato tots were really nice and everything packaged well. I’ve tried numerous chip shops around the Stafford area and I must say this place is absolutely amazing. I ordered a large fish and chips and the meal was beautiful. Fish cooked fresh, white and flakey with minimal batter and the chips too. It’s not the cheapest chip shop, but you pay for what you get and that’s fresh tasting food and the staff in there are very pleasant too. Highly recommended 10/10 ??

Clifford is a two minute walk from my house so not only convenient but also such a nice pub, everyone in there is so lovely especially the owner (Or who we assume is the owner). Always greets me and my partner and is overall such a lovely man. We enjoy going on the weekends before a night out as they always have lovely and reasonably priced drinks. When they close at 12am they are always polite when asking people to leave as they are closing. Ive eaten here in the past and the food has always been amazing. 100% reccomend. Thanks!

Enjoyed my time at the Post House Bar and Grill. Went for Sunday lunch and it was very very nice. A bit more a fancy Sunday lunch for sure but it was certainly just as tasty. Portion sizes are big and very filling may cost a bit more but you for sure get your moneys worth. We visited yesterday as we were passing we popped in for a drink. Sat outside so the kids could play great addition! The food smelt amazing so we ended up ordering a mixed grill and wow it did not disappoint. The best fish Pakoras we have ever had and the sauces were homemade. Karl was amazing! We booked him for an hour as a surprise for our guests at our wedding. He turned up playing his tune on arrival, with a perfect message on the side of his van. He even let the Bride & Groom inside for photos. Everyone loved him! Thank you so so much for helping us make our day perfect.

Came here with my wife for breakfast this morning as it came up as near to where we were visiting for the day. Amazing breakfasts at a great price with it been less than £10 for a huge full English breakfast with 17 items!!! The staff were all really friendly and there was plenty of room to sit inside. Will definitely be coming back again when I am next in the Stafford area.

I stopped by Subway for lunch and was mostly impressed. The store was clean and organised, and the staff member (POOJAN AND HIS TEAM) serving me was friendly and patient while I chose my toppings. The bread was fresh out of the oven, and the ingredients looked colourful and crisp. My sub tasted great, especially with the toasted finish.

Great value deals that can feed 4 people for £5.50 each, pizzas have enough cheese and toppings, would be great if there was more BBQ sauce on the base but that's only a small critique, pizzas taste amazing, arriving piping hot, well cooked, BBQ chicken wings are q big portion with plenty of meat. Happy Meeting Chinese Takeaway

As I was stumbling home rather drunk I suddenly saw the shining light of the Happy Meeting Chinese Takeaway. It is no exaggeration when I say that the meal I received brought me back to the land of the living. The staff were incredibly friendly and even gave me a couple of small extras.
