Panevino Italian Restaurant

Really lovely restaurant with varied menu. Very friendly, attentive service. We went late afternoon on a weekday and it looked empty at the front but it is a big place and it was all happening at the back. There is a covered courtyard at the back which has a very nice atmosphere. It's also very close to the castle if you are visiting that.
It was also very clean. One of the waiters was giving the tables a good wash down when people left.
We didn't book but I can imaging that this gets very busy at weekends so you probably need to book for busy periods.

The Two Rivers at Chepstow

It’s the staff at the two rivers that make me want to come back. The atmosphere is second to none. I have been a regular here since September . I won’t go anywhere else

Mango House

Came here for the first time recently on a Monday night, so it was somewhat quiet. But U can't fault Mango House at all. Very good service, excellent food and service. They seem to do everything right.

Stone Rock Pizza

Food was fantastic, service was excellent even though it was quite busy given that a lot of people were in town. Thank you so much to Emma and Olivia especially for giving such great service. Shoutout to the chefs for the great margarita and diavola. My friend and I enjoyed it so much could not be more pleased :)))

Green Chilli

I’ve come to Chepstow as a stop off for Father’s Day on Sunday. 4.5 hours drive. Was on the prowl for some late night food and came across this place, well..wow, went in and ordered personally, not no Uber or just eats malarkey. The young gentlemen on the counter were the most politest and well mannered ppl I have ever met outside my family, I was made to feel like a king, my 68 yo father felt like he knew them 40 years. (Sorry if he went on a bit guys ?) but they were fantastic with him. From the bottom of my heart-guys-thank you, the food when opened at my hotel matched what we experienced in your shop, thank you again, Micky, Paul and James ??????

Chepstow Kebab House

Food quality here is of a very high standard, as is the cleanliness of the establishment. Staff are friendly and delivery times are quick. Their kebabs and pizzas are the best in the area. You won't be disappointed!

Greggs

The best place to dine out cheaply and effectively in the town with friendly service and accessibility for those in wheelchairs. A great selection of hot food as long as its pastry led!

Piercefield

Lovely pub just around 1m from Chepstow racecourse, stayed in the car park in our motorhome , they also offer hook up if required.
Only had the light lunch menu but just enough for me.

Domino's Pizza - Chepstow

Big shout out to the Dominos at Chepstow. Ordered a last minute order for 25 pizzas which was ready in the time it took us to drive the 20 minutes from where we were staying... Great work!! thank you!

Marmalade House Cafe and Tea Rooms

The atmosphere is perfect, calm, friendly with excellent service.
The soup was perfectly tasty and well seasoned. The milkshake ordered was chocolate / peanut butter, a variation on what is on the menu, made to please and please it did.
The menu has many tasty options that make you want to come back to try them out.
Highly recommend!
Have tea or a full meal but spend some time here.

The Riverside

My favourite place in Chep always great atmosphere and food especially with the live music . Staff are super friendly and service always spot on . Definitely recommend popping in ?

The Anchor Inn

WOW WOW WOW. We had the lasagne and a chicken burger. Best lasagne I've had in a long time. Served hot and stayed hot in is boat shaped serving dish. The chicken was crisp and tasted delightful. Wonderful meal. Wait times long but we'll worth it

The Sitar Balti

The food is really good and consistent every time we order.

The lamb just crumbles under the fork it's that tender.

Highly recommend

Chatterbox Coffee Shop

Stopped in here for a breakfast and a coffee, first time doing so since it has changed management, the atmosphere, friendly staff and food were all great (I had the hot honey halloumi on toast, I'd recommend for sure) left with a take away coffee and 2 pieces of the cake that have been staring at me whilst eating.
Will be back for sure.

Millers Arms

A roomy and light eating area with a good mixture of meals to choose from. Before choosing to eat here we were looking through menus of what the alternative pubs were offering and the menus were standard with pub classics nothing new that made me want to go there. We then come across the menu at the millers and found that there are menu options that we had just not seen anywhere else. The choice of meals was good and they have specials for certain nights of the week, but the Pork Valentine drew me to this pub.
The eating area was spaced out, I am sure they could additional tables in there but that would spoil the feeling of space. The restaurant area had pleasant natural light and was clean.
The food lived up to expectations and was plentiful and we really enjoyed the evening there.
Outside had a big wooden hut, but everyone was sitting out in the sun. The outside seating was a little dated and could do with a refresh. There is also an unsupervised play area for children.

Firstclass Cafe

Good breakfast staff went out of their way to accommodate me after damaging one of my hands they were nice enough to cut my food up for me I was unable to do this myself. Photo is half eaten

The Boat Inn

Great view, live music and good prices.

Unfortunately the food is served in odd hours and the bar has a huge quie since there is a single line to order, but they have 3 tills whichakes it super odd!

Wonderfood Chinese Takeaway

Our favourite takeaway! ? The food is always great - a wide selection, very tasty, big portions and prepared quickly - and very good prices too!

Plus, everyone who works there is always so friendly, the customer service is fantastic - we wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thank you Wonderfood ??

The Red Lantern

Very nice Chinese takeaway, however the egg fried rice is dry sometimes which knocks the rating down to a 4 for me, everything else especially the starters are absolutely brilliant.

Costa Coffee

Large bright and airy, that sums this place up really.
Great disabled access too.
Excellent staff very friendly and welcoming.
Lots of indoor seating. The food is not very much more than Greggs price wise but way better quality you can't go wrong.

Vegetarian options: Limited choice on sandwiches for veggie options unfortunately but what they do have is great quality so don't be put off

Parking: No on street parking in Chepstow high street as it is a no parking zone and this includes blue badge holders so do not get caught out
Two pay and display car parks a couple of minutes walk away free when displaying a blue badge

Wheelchair accessibility: Level flat entrance Chepstow high street is on a slope. No parking on street and that includes blue badge holders the council regularly ticket here without exception.

Kibby's Fish and Chip Shop

I left a review 6 years ago..... pretty sure I've been back since then although I do live 70 miles away! .....I think that other more recent reviews are either unfair or completely wrong as again I found the service excellent and very friendly, the food freshly cooked and delicious and remarkably good value. We had haddock, scampi, chips, mushy peas, buttered bap, and mugs of tea for just over £20 ( 2 people).....and we sat in the side seating area and ate off of proper plates with knives and forks.....and somebody cooked our meal and did the washing up!..... what is there to moan about. Thank you Kibby's, you are the best !

Parsons Bakery

Very nice friendly patient staff I did cause a queue with my non decision making. Meal deal is amazing baggete cake drink. Pasties are the real non fake type unlike Greggs mash ups. My daughter is vegetarian and she really enjoyed vegetarian sausage roll yummy. Coffee also was great my other daughter had iced tea and loved that too

Kings Head Chepstow

Was a lovely room , brilliant location, friendly land lady.
Was spotless and very large.
It could do with a fridge as I bought milk and went off in warm weather. Also there was a toaster and microwave but could do with more kitchen equipment as I'd have bought eggs ect at Poundland opposite

Always had a good experience although does often seem to be out of ingredients for brunch. But lovely spot, great atmosphere and lots of choice. One of the top two go-to places for a nice cocktail or brunch in town

SPAR Sedbury

This is the third time we’ve been and each time we have loved the food not only are they huge portions but super tasty too and the quality is the best!! We’ve heard the Sunday roast is the best around too so have booked in and can’t wait to try it. Well done to the head chef Jason and his waiting team for being the best!! We can’t wait to try our roasts in two weeks ?
