Serving local ales and drinks. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

The Halford Bridge Inn
Fosse Way, Halford, Shipston-on-StourWe recently stayed at The Halford Bridge Inn as a party of 15 for two nights, and from start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The team went above and beyond to make our visit special — allowing us to check in early, accommodating us as a large table for an Indian meal (which, quite honestly, was one of the best we’ve ever had!), and even opening the bar early for us on the morning of our family wedding.
When we returned later that night, they would have happily reopened the bar for us, which just shows the level of care and hospitality they offer. The place is well-kept, the staff are warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble.
It’s definitely worth a return visit — even if just for that incredible curry! Highly recommended.

The Bower House Restaurant & Rooms
2-4 Market Pl, Shipston-on-StourFabulous dinner with friends. Great service and great food. Lovely menu all at a reasonable price. Excellent and substantial wine list with some nice wines at a fair restaurant price. All in all a delightful dining experience. We would all highly recommend.

The Black Horse Inn
Station Rd, Shipston-on-StourA very ‘locals’ pub as it is just a few minutes away from the main centre of town - but what a gem! Popped in for a quick pint and was made very welcome by the regulars at the bar. Ended up staying for some food and probably a couple of pints too many - and a new mate!
The food choice was wide but I only had a couple of the starters

2 West St, Shipston-on-StourREALLY YUMMY!! Huge portions & delicious food! Accidentally ordered twice (oops) and they called to confirm I made a mistake and cancelled one of the orders, food is definitely worth the money though, mama says she's found her new favourite takeout :)

1-2 Granville Ct, Shipston-on-StourThe curries taste great but they're pretty oily. The food has great flavour so full-marks from me for Food. Shame they don't do the red onion sauce which is my absolute fav. Cheers guys for many nice dinners.

The Red Lion Hunningham
Main St, Hunningham, Leamington SpaI hadn't been here for over 40 years, having last played cricket in the field at the back. Sadly the cricket seems no more.
Anyway, the food is amazing. Top quality, and I would order with confidence . Not so convinced by the drinks.
Service was relaxed.
Great venue and food quality is the real selling point.
