We came to the Dog on Friday evening 14 of us for birthday drinks.
The staff we so helpful and even brought the drinks around to us.The manager was great he organised the snug area for us which was perfect, allowed the girls to put balloons on tables and brought out the cake when they asked.
There was music a young man with his guitar, he played music to suit all ages.
We will definitely be using the pub again for our evenings out. The manager and his staff are definitely a good working team.
Again thank you we all had a wonderful evening.

Home made Polish dishes served in hot and plentiful portions.

Home made cherry vodka a gorgeous accompaniment to the Polish cheese desert dish.

Not a huge menu, but that is welcome to me. The range is broad enough for anyone imo.

We absolutely love coming to The Abbey in Bearwood! A huge shoutout to the owners, Ram and Ganga, who are always so welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. Our group of badminton players comes in twice a week after late games, and no matter how late it gets, Ram and Ganga go above and beyond to make sure we’re looked after.

The food is simply fantastic – proper authentic Indian flavours, cooked fresh every time. Ram even tailors dishes to suit everyone’s tastes without ever making it seem like a bother. That level of care and attention really makes the difference.

It’s rare to find a place with such genuine hospitality, consistently amazing food, and such a warm atmosphere. Thank you, Ram and Ganga, for making The Abbey our favourite spot – we wouldn’t go anywhere else!

A fab, cozy cafe to grab breakfast or lunch if you're passing through Smethwick ? The staff are always so bubbly, you can get a banging breakfast for around a fiver and the quality of the food makes that an absolute bargain, plenty of selection of sauces out on the tables (I'm a fiend for spicing up everything so I appreciate the chilli ketchup and tabasco available) and the service is so quick for a small place! Always have something showing on the TV too so even when it's quiet there's a nice bit of non-overwhelming background noise. I've had the small breakfast and the cheesy bean toastie on my visits and I'd recommend both! Also they do a lovely latte :)

Thankyou once again to you all at luigis. Smashed it out the bag once again and saved my sons birthday from been a total disaster due to my kitchen flooding and me not been able to cook-such a huge order aswell!!!
Everything was 10/10 from the flavours to the appealing look, all piping hot and ready on time. Certainly worked your magic although not sure how as it was a sat night shop was busy, phone was ringing and could clearly see you had orders coming out of your ears. The mannerism of the guys that served me as always was nothing but the best, friendly, polite and proffesional! Little touches count and the fact one of your drivers help me carry all the food to my car (after offering to delivering it to my house free of charge) was customer service at its best. Can not fault a single thing with luigis!!!!

Having just eaten at this little jem, I can honestly say its a fantastic addition to the Bearwood independent scene. Truly authentic food and atmosphere. Its like stepping into a little bit of Mexico with their traditional decor and music in the background.
Our server was attentive but not imposing, and the food was beautifully made using fresh ingredients and was all very well timed between courses. I could easily eat here everyday. Be prepared to waddle home as the portions are very generous. ?

Fish King is easily one of the best chip shops around. The menu is stacked with choice, but the chicken fillet burger is the star of the show—crispy, juicy, and packed with flavour. Their southern fried chicken is also to die for, proper crunchy coating with tender meat inside that puts a lot of big chains to shame.

Beyond that, they serve up everything from donner, pizzas, curries, grilled dishes, beef burgers and of course the classic fish & chips, all cooked fresh and served hot with generous portions.

Mario,s is my local chip shop and we absolutely love it. We always get our Thursday night takeout from there the food is always piping hot and fully cooked. The shop's hygiene levels are good and always looks clean and organised.
The shop was very crowded but the way the young girl served everyone and her customer service was commendable.

I have visited this restaurant twice and also ordered four deliveries this summer while I’ve been staying with my mum. The food is absolutely superb. We have the lamb kaalia every time which is incredibly delicious and fragrant (as well as very chili-hot). We have also thoroughly enjoyed the lamb Ceylon, the dhal tarka and the Palak paneer and baigan jool. This is our favourite Indian restaurant and we can’t get anything nearly as good in the area we live in in London. The onion bhajis are also amazing - crispy and soft.

This is the most epic genuine charcoal cooked Indian mix grill I have ever had, literally for the mix grill (feeds 2 poss even 4 if smaller eaters) for £22 quid, with two keema nans and a tikka masala sauce totalling about £31 quid is unreal.
Tandoori wings meat falling off bones, tender soft perfect lamb chops, perfect chicken tikka with an immense char coal taste and the keema rolls to die for and the keema nans and tikka sauce were bang on and the couple of different fish pakoras were divine and I am not a fish lover.
Top drawer food, superbly priced, get here and enjoy the best tandoori mixed grill I have eaten in the country by a mile (reviewed by a work away from home lorry driver)

We have been coming here for years as it is one of the oldest and original Indian Sweet shops in Smethwick. The somosas and spring rolls are great as is the chutney (dip).
