We were recommended this establishment by another local pub in Todmorden and turned out to be fab,\nTim kindly offered us one of the 3 rooms available and we couldn’t have been happier,\nchecked in,headed to Hebbdon for the afternoon and came back here for a delicious meal,\nwife had the pie and I had the fillet steak,\nabsolutely 10/10 and the all included breakfast the following morning was equally delicious,\nso much so we’ve already booked to come back with my sister & husband in January,\na little unassuming gem,\nhighly recommended

Site Pizzeria

Delicious pizzas in the lovely town of Todmorden. The pizzas were fantastic with great flavours and the beer and cocktail selection was also great. Staff were very friendly -they knocked off a desert from our bill just because it didn't quite come with the exact flavour as specified in the menu - they didn't need to but it was a nice gesture.

The Shepherd's Rest Inn

We have been hear so many times over the summer and autumn the old saying is if it's not broken don't fix it.\nThe service and food hear is unbelievable for the price range we have tride so many different dishes and every one has been delicious. \nBut our go to is the surf and tuff sharing platter at £59.99 it is unbelievable value for money and 2 of us always struggle to finish it you get so much.Every thing is so tasty and for the pice you actually get 2 pints included ?\n\nAs I write this review we are planning on visiting today my mouth is watering already thinking about the food ? I also need to mention you will struggle to find a place with better views than this lovely country pub/restaurant we booked a table for 15 for a family celebration a few weeks ago and the total bill including drinks was £336 which I think was extremely low I don't think anyone ordered the same thing so 15 different meals all arrived together and everyone was talking about it for days afterwards saying how good the food was .\nKeep up the good work you have us as regular customers for life ?

The Alehouse

Called into this lovely cosy bar on Sunday evening of august bank hol we were motorhomeing on Tod cricket club for the wend and actually ordered a takeaway out from spicy bites next door so thought we would try a drink before collection !the landlady told us politely they had been really busy all afternoon and had already closed the bar !I cheekily said we only wanted a simple beer and we would be quick so they could still close soon and she smiled and said oh go on then !she was a real professional very accomadating friendly and chatty her staff continued to clean etc but absolutely not rushing us or making us feel we were in the way there hospitality was second to none and we will defo return it was a lovely pint of beer too !thanx again ale house a proper bar and lovely staff

Waggon & Horses

So I took the wife and kids here for some food as it was recommended to us through a friend for food. The food was absolutely outstanding, piping hot and the ingredients was lovely and fresh. If you are local to Todmorden this is easily the best pub grub around. Beats shepards rest and Top Brink hands down! Thankyou Wagon and horses

The Glen View Inn

Call to the Glen view inn last week on a whim as we were hungry, and as it has been recommended, we thought we would give it a try. And we were not disappointed we both had starters and main courses and the food was excellent and the vegetables were cooked to perfection not soggy like in some other establishments we have had the displeasure to come across you won't find this here the portions were genuinely generous the lady who served us was very pleasant and looked after us well we will definitely be returning thank you for a lovely meal keep us the great standard.

Bombay Lounge

The food here was very good, well worth the money, the server was very attentive & made us welcome as soon as we walked in. The restaurant was very quiet, possibly due to poor roadside appeal (don't judge a book by its cover) we will definitely return here in the future.

The Honest John Bar & Coffee Tavern

First visit to Honest John, lovely lady who served us was so friendly and the food and drinks were ace.. thanks to our lovely lady who recommended Hawkstone cider to me it was delicious

The Vedas

I went here tonight as a solo female. A lot of places turn their noses on a busy night as you are taking away an extra seat. Quite the opposite here, I couldn't have felt more welcome. The food was lovely and I had spare to take home with me. Thanks for the food and service guys ?

Wellington Inn

Had a lovely visit chatting to two Blackburn people also on their first Toddy visit. Casta had the one and only real ale..a pint of Wainwright's. Good locals pub. Toilets up steep stairs. (Separate stairs for boys and girls!) Good rear beer garden.

Again, this brilliant real ale pub did not disappoint a great clean interior seating ample, and the bohemian clientelle was pleasurable to be amongst. The publicans were very good, and the plethora amount of real ales and cider were the icing on the cake.
This grand real ale pub is a must for all dedicated real ale drinkers to drink in when in Todmorden

Three Wise Monkeys

It's quite fun, but the lack of floor staff when it gets busy means you should be ready to bide your time. The spicier dishes seemed to be all burn for little flavour, but we still had a good meal

Pakistan Hot & Fast Food Takeaway

I was one of their very first customers when they opened around 1991 and for many years regularly enjoyed their meals at least once a week. Having since moved out of the area I was there last week so called in again. The meal was as good as ever and I asked the friendly guy was it still the original owners. To my surprise yes the same family. Is the guy who used to serve me still alive? Oh! my grandad yes and described him he's retired now but still active. Thought I'd test him does his son still support the same football team (as I do), yes again Newcastle United. What a great family business. I had many a chat with the original lads and plenty of banter over 30 years ago and it appears its not changed. The shop has now updated but service and food still excellent. Keith

Spicy Bites

Food very nice however I ordered 2x Donner meat and chips 1 large 1 regular and both portions were the same (small) also ordered a chicken kebab on naan which was also very nice but the portion was tiny ! still hungry and shouldn't be having spent £25
