We have been using Evesham Balti for take aways now for well over a year. The reason we remain with them is because they can consistently provide good food. Other places locally were sometimes good and sometimes not good. I want to know that when I'm buying a takeaway I don't have to worry about whether the food will be of good quality or poor quality. I would gladly also dine in here when the opportunity arises. Keep it the good work.

I've been coming here since they first opened what 10 years ago and most recently for my parents joint 87th birthday party on a Saturday lunchtime.
It was surprisingly quiet with only a handful of other diners but that meant they could easily accommodate a group of 10 including the mobility walker and child's buggy
The food was good, steady Italian stuff nothing fancy and the children loved the pizza.
We brought a cake which they really kindly plated up and decorated beautifully at no cost which was super kind and made the octogenarians very happy.
We had a lovely time and thanks again

Visited on a rainy Tuesday evening. The car park looked quiet but we were hungry so thought we would try it. The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. The inside of the pub looks like it hasn't changed since the 80s but in a charming way. Proper home cooked food, nothing fancy but absolutely delicious. We had cottage pie with vegetables, and chilli with half rice/chips. Good portion sizes which meant we had no room for pudding. Definitely value for money. We may well be returning again tomorrow evening it was so good.

Went for lunch today without a booking. Was warmly welcomed given menus.
We sat outside ordered drinks and food. The drinks arrived promptly followed by the food about 20 minutes later.
The food was 1st class, it looked amazing was packed with flavour and very well seasoned.
I was truly surprised and impressed by the service, choice and food quality.
The toilets were also very clean which is rare in some high street restaurants.
I will definitely return
Unfortunately couldn’t really comment on atmosphere as it was early Sunday lunch.

Wonderful old 15th century ( or earlier) pub with great food. You must try the pies. Great range of beers and cider, lots of sheltered outdoor space. Luckily we booked for Monday lunch, thought it would be quiet but was really busy. Best place I've been to in a while.

Hong’s has become our go-to takeaway in Evesham
The food is excellent. The vegetables are always cooked to perfection (something that seems unimpressive but that so many places get so wrong). It’s also really good value.
As a family of vegetarians we’d love a veggie protein option; tofu or something similar. However as already mentioned the vegetables are so well cooked it’s (almost) not necessary

We turned up randomly for Sunday dinner with no booking. There was no space in the restaurant to accommodate us but the friendly staff were incredibly helpful and made a space for us in the bar area. The food was absolutely delicious (especially the roast potatoes). We had 4 kids under 5 with us and the staff were superb with the chaos they inevitably brought. Highly recommended. Thanks for having us :) Oh and it was super reasonably priced. I didn’t weep when the bill arrived so that’s usually a good sign.

We just went in for a quiet drink. So quiet another customer had to go and look for the bar staff for service. Lovely atmosphere with a view of the river in front and fields behind. Plenty of benches in the beer garden, and a decent car park. There is also a touring caravan park behind it.

Seated 24 of us at very short notice(6 starving families after a long christmas walk in the cotswolds), the food was very nice! Probably the best fish and chips ive had from a pub, and everyone agreed that their meal was very nice. Service was excellent, orders came out very quickly considering the amount of us just landing on the place. Will definately be visiting again soon! Hopefully in the summer to make the most of the outside seating with river views! ☺️

Stopping at a holiday cottage near by.
Called in for Sunday lunch sat in bar area with our 2 dogs ?
Roast beef dinner was spot on and the cheese cakes where yummy too....all washed down with a few beers.
Staff friendly and helpful, atmosphere is good.

The Curry Merchant

I was hesitating between the several restaurants of Evesham tonight and ended up at the Curry Merchant.
I got first attracted by the clear Menu (some of the neighbours did not have any menu displayed), but also by the good reviews, and the really good pricing.

And I haven't been disappointed, the kebab mix for starter was delicious, as was the lamb tikka and lemon rice.

Service was good and the door of the kitchen remained open, allowing everyone to see what was happening which is very reinsuring.

If I have to find something negative to say :
The garlic naan was unfortunately below my expectations (even if my expectations are high). Wasn't bad but also not the kind of amazing Naans I enjoy.

Also I got a surprise discount on the bill (maybe for taking away instead of delivery). It is great for me and other customers but it means there was a failure in marketing, not spreading this message clearly enough (better this than a bad surprise!)

All in all, a great experience, I will come back :)

Best chineese/ fishy I’ve had in years. Ordered a few times now and all was tasty. Chicken balls are huge but packed with flavour. Curry sauce is a combo of chip shop and chineese which goes perfectly. Decently sized fish and chip portion. Ordered valentines night and despite being delivered 2 hours late due to it being busy, food still showed up piping hot and quality was not lacking at all. Definitely making this my permanent chineese/chippy location ☺️?

Friendly staff and it has one of the biggest breakfast eating challenges I have ever seen starting with 10 bacon and 10 sausages ... Visited Evesham for friends' birthday, first time in many years!
Arrived early and fancied a cup of tea. There are plenty of regular coffee shops to choose from, but I prefer little independents as they tend to offer a better drink and atmosphere.
I didn't eat, and the breakfast and cakes looked yummy, but the pot of decaf tea hit the spot. Service was great, brought it to my table. Couldn't fault it and very reasonably priced at £2.25 for a pot of tea.
Highly recommended for that relaxed cuppa!

Popped in for lunch with my Daughter & Granddaughter as we were out for a walk. Food was nice and very reasonable price wise, nice cold beer. Landlady, (I'm assuming?), was really nice and friendly, we were made to feel very welcome. Pub was quiet, it was Wednesday around 14:00 which is one of the reasons we thought it would be quieter. Had a quick look outside, nice patio area plus tables in a grass area. Will defo pop in again when I'm visiting my family in Evesham! ??

We have been to this lovely little pizzeria four times since we discovered it last August. The staff are friendly, polite and attentive. From the outside, it always looks quiet but when you are inside, you realise it has a continual stream of customers, either eating in or collecting takeaway. Pizzas are always amazing. We had the good fortune to sit outside the kitchen window tonight and the chefs make everything look effortless. Thank you to all at Team Flavours. We love you.
