I had the hand battered fish cibatta and my wife had the cubano sandwich. Both very filling and tasty hot. Nice clean pub which I recommend.

We held our wedding reception at the Royal Oak on 26th of July 2025 and we were not disappointed! \nWe had the private tipee area for welcome drinks and came into the pub for our wedding breakfast. The day was perfect from start to finish, everything went as planned and all the guests had a great time. The food was fantastic and plenty of it, we had so many comments from our guests about how much they enjoyed the food and how full they were. \n\nThere was plenty of space to dance the night away inside the pub, fantastic surroundings for photo’s and plenty of seating areas to relax. The tipee and inside the pub was beautifully decorated how I wanted it.\n\nThe team were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us making sure everyone was having a great time. Big special thank you to Nola, she was so supportive and helpful leading up to the wedding, and on the day, she was always on hand checking in with us to make sure everything was ok. One thing that stood out was the flexibility of bringing in our own ideas and nothing was too much trouble for Nola which made wedding planning so much less stressful.\n\nWe have memories to cherish forever, we will never forget our special day and I would 100% recommend the Royal Oak for any gathering, party or wedding! It’s the perfect space and exactly the vibe we wanted for our wedding reception! \n\nThank you to Nola and all the team at the Royal Oak for making our day so special xx

We held an 18th birthday party in the marquee at the back of the pub and the landlord and his staff pulled out all the stops to make it a fantastic night. The party lighting in the marquee was spot on, drinks were ordered and delivered on demand into the marquee, the Chinese buffet was great, and there was a cocktail bar just outside the marquee. This is indeed Marlow’s hidden gem!

We had a couple of the scrum sets and noodle soup.\nThe restaurant has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and the noise levels are good and you can hear each other.\n\nThe service was excellent from start to finish. A special mention to Am, who was so welcoming and attentive, she really made our visit extra enjoyable.\n\nHighly recommend Giggling Squid Marlow for anyone who loves great Thai food and a friendly service. We’ll definitely be back soon!

A special mention goes to Sankar, the Restaurant Supervisor, who was absolutely amazing; attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring in making sure everything was perfect. The Two Brewers
St Peter St, MarlowAt last this beautiful old pub is back in the hands of private owners (I assume) and out the hands of the Brewery, who wrecked it after countless managers. The owners must have spent a fortune in turning the crappy old car park into a beautiful patio area, with huge parasols to cover the whole area with electric patio heaters built in, so should be good for cooler evenings too. Had Roast pork and my partner had roast lamb, and both excellent. Staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, considering most staff must be fairly new as only opened last Thursday so must have been their first Sunday lunch serving since taking over. Will definitely be back. The only small criticism is there is only 1 x ladies toilet cubicle, so queues are likely. Perhaps being such an old pub planning wouldn’t allow it to add more? All in all that wouldn’t put me off to return as everything else has been done to a very high standard. Very happy this Pub is back in my map. Well done all ??

48 High St, MarlowWent with friends after many years and noticed it changed a lot for better, dark green wall colours made nice cosy atmosphere complete with good chill music made this place where You can relax after all day run. Food keep taste and it looks amazing like before, chefs keep quality to details. Padana combination of ingredients is one of our favourite. Definietly I will come back to this branch, my friends too.

The Ship, 23 West St, MarlowMyself and my partner are regulars (when we can) and we love this pub! The staff are always friendly and efficient. The pizzas are some of the best we've ever had, proper wood fire and fresh from the oven. We can't get enough of them! When it's warm outside, the open space is lovely to sit in. In the colder months, they light the fire and it's so warm and cosy. It's easily the best place to go in Marlow, in our humble opinion.

Church Rd, Little Marlow, MarlowWhat a wonderful place to unwind from our journey! Two incredibly sweet men served us. Everything is very cozy and inviting. And what friendly service! The food was truly delicious. The sandwich was perfect, and the burger was delicious. The restrooms need some attention, but they are absolutely clean. If I lived nearby, I would come here weekly. A nice stop before we took the shuttle.

Unit B, Meter House, Fieldhouse Ln, MarlowBest takeaway I’ve ever had and has been so for a very long time. Food quality is excellent and the flavours magnificent. Saajid will cook to your taste and I often have lamb bhoona “slightly hot” and it is wondrous. Lamb meat quality is exceptional which often is not the case in other restaurants or takeaways. I can heartily recommend the onion bhajis, naans and rice quality. Chicken madras and korai chicken are two more of my favourites in a great variety. I use it weekly it’s that good.

We have eaten in many Michelin starred Restaurants and quite frankly this was up there with them. The service was impeccable, the explanations from the waitresses was exemplary as were their courteousness. The food was fantastic - hot homemade bread, an amuse bouche of artichoke soup, a great risotto, tasty seafood, amazing duck, a beef dish that cut like butter ( the are the chefs took - honestly!) two fab cheeses, a surprise negroni jelly with fireworks in the mouth and a sumptuous chocolate and cherry dessert. Very memorable. \nToilets a bit tight but that is minor. \nThoroughly recommend .

13 West St, MarlowJust had a great plate of fish and chips in Marlow. The food was cooked fresh for us when we ordered, not sitting around all day and the taste and quality were perfect. The portion was really generous (I ordered a medium cod and chips). If you eat in, the tartare sauce is complimentary which was a nice surprise. We ordered some mushy peas and curry sauce which were both fresh and delicious as well. The menu is vegetarian/pescatarian/halal friendly as chips, fish and meat are all cooked separately and in vegetable oil, and they have a 5 star hygiene rating.
We were served by Lina who was extremely friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Marlow.

We sat inside as it was so hot, but the option was given to sit outside. \nWe were served drinks promptly after being shown to our table. The menu was varied, and with a specials board, the choice was great. \nWe opted for a starter and main course. All food was lovely presented and a good amount. The only criticism is that some dishes were not served with chips or potatoes and these were charged extra if you wanted them. \nThe beer & wine had been kept perfectly cool & tap water was given on request. \nIt was slightly more expensive than other pubs but the quality and choice of food was excellent \nWe will certainly be going again.

3 Pound Ln, MarlowWhat a fantastic addition to Marlow and Higginson park! The pizzas are amazing! Super good quality, cooked to perfection! The staff are super friendly and the decor is very calming. Coupled with the outdoor wisteria terrace seating, what a gem! Well done team!
