3 Beetham Rd, MilnthorpeDecided to pop here for a takeout while staying nearby in hale. Got the set meal for 2 and a couple of extras, absolutely unreal, one of the best Indians I’ve ever had so tasty and you get so much. Service was brill too :)

49 Beetham Rd, MilnthorpeFriendly local cafe providing typical British meals and cakes. Extra parking behind. It can be quite busy, but there's several tables for 4 and tables for 2 down one side, including a book swop along one wall. I saw at least one dog too.

2 Church St, MilnthorpeHaving been here a few times recently, I must say it’s a little gem and a delightful place to grab a coffee. The cakes are delicious and the cafe has a great atmosphere. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

26 The Square, MilnthorpeRefresh catered for my husband’s 50th birthday party. There was a great selection of pies including a gluten free option for some of our guests and side dishes as well. The pies were absolutely delicious- everyone commented how tasty they were. Thank you so much Margaret - you might need to write a recipe book!

Coach & Horses
Haverflatts Ln, MilnthorpeWent in here for lunch after a long half-day's walking, but found out that they no longer do food. Still, we stopped for a drink and watered the dog while we were at it and I can understand the comments here about the real ale. The pint I had was superb and it was a shame I couldn't use it to wash down a well-earned sandwich. It was quiet too when we were there as we were the only ones in the bar we sat in, but was a lovely place to have a beer.
Highly recommended for a great pint.

Twine Walk, 9 Main St, MilnthorpeOnly ever had pizzas from here and every time 10/10. I prefer Italian themed pizzas and usually not keen on kebab shop pizzas but the pizzas from here are unreal.

Hale, MilnthorpeWe stayed for one night. What a beautiful place! All modernised, spotlessly clean, great restaurant and bar. 10 minutes from the motorway. We will definitely be going there again.

Beetham Nurseries Garden Cafe
Pool Darkin Lane, MilnthorpeCame today with my dog Bonnie, everywhere except inside the cafes is dog friendly, which is great! Staff were all very friendly and helpful, lovely waitress looked after my dog whilst I nipped I to the Cafe and the food was unreal. Like mitchelin star quality not typical garden center fayre. Love it here ❤️

Main Street Chip Shop
19 Main St, MilnthorpeThis chip shop has changed hands, and improved both its interior and its menu. Friendly staff too. Opening times have changed, and they are closed Sunday and Monday, but open at noon to 8pm other days. Enjoy!
