Glenridding, PenrithCalled into Fellbites for the first time a week or so ago, arrived mid afternoon on a Friday and was given a warm welcome by the staff behind the counter. We only wanted a cuppa and a snack to warm us up from the relentless rain outside, so can't really comment on the food but what we had was lovely and very welcome. We'll be back!

Travellers Rest
2 Greenside Rd, Glenridding, PenrithPerfect stop after a walk in the lakes. Nice range of drinks and the perfect pub grub choice of food. Burger was spot on with plenty of chips. The 'generous' prawn cocktail was very generous as well! Thanks for a lovely finish to our walk :)

Ramblers Bar and the Candleroom
Ullswater, Glenridding, PenrithReally lovely spot for a pint and a meal. Food was good, beer refreshing, and staff very friendly. The staff were super welcoming both to us and our dog. It is expensive, but so are most spots in the Lake District, and you get what you pay for. Will definitely be
