We visited here whilst on holiday, booked in advance. Food was great, home cooked and fresh. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, with fast service. Prices were very reasonable. Dog friendly.

Not a bad pub, a little tired on the inside except the toilets? but good service, friendly staff , I imagine it would be pretty popular in the summer time being right on the green?

Absolutely the best fish and chips I have had in a long time!
Beautiful white fish and the crispiest batter. The chips were perfect, not soggy or overdone.
To top it off, we loved the fishy plates!
