Stunning viewing around the vineyard followed by a very informative talk on the wine making process here at Calancombe, looking at all of the equipment needed. This then led us to a charcuterie lunch with a fabulous tasting of a range of their wines, ciders, and blackcurrant Crème de Cassis. A very enjoyable afternoon birthday surprise.

Had a delicious meal of home made chips and crab cakes with a side salad. My hubby had home made pie and chips also was the best. Friendly staff . Lovely quirky pub. Will definitely be going back there.

Lovely relaxed pub atmosphere, great food: well cooked, flavoursome, good portions, and attentive service.
Car park is small but there is an overflow car park near the village hall.
I had a roast and friends explored the menu, reporting that the nut roast, beanburger and fish and chips were also delicious ?
