Excellent throughout!
We were here on a Saturday evening to enjoy some Tapas. We were warmly welcome. We had ordered five Tapas between the two of us. They came in small pans and were very delicious and the taste was very authentic, too.
The service was very nice, attentive and effective!
Most of the restaurant is accessible by wheelchair. The adapted toilet is big enough and well equipped with grabrails.

Perfect Anniversary Dinner at Gloucester Docks

We visited Trattoria Settebello for our first wedding anniversary and it couldn’t have been more perfect. On arrival, the team warmly acknowledged our special occasion, which was such a thoughtful touch and set the tone for the evening.

The decor is absolutely beautiful and we chose to sit indoors, with lovely views of the docks. Even on a Sunday evening, there was a lively buzz without being overwhelming.

Our server, Josh, was excellent throughout – professional, polite, and attentive, which really enhanced the experience.

The food was outstanding. We started with calamari, and I can honestly say it was the best I’ve ever had – perfectly cooked, delicious flavour, and a generous portion. For mains, we shared the carbonara and a margherita classica pizza. Both were amazing: authentic, full of flavour, and served in hearty portions. The food was so good that we sadly had no room left for dessert, but that just gives us a reason to return!

We also enjoyed a refreshing strawberry mocktail and finished the evening with a lovely coffee, which rounded everything off perfectly.

Overall, it was an amazing experience from start to finish – a fantastic atmosphere, outstanding food, and wonderful service. Highly recommended for a special occasion or simply a great night out. We’ll definitely be back.

I have visited this wonderful Cafe several times and is now a firm favourite. deliciously scrummy and generously sized jacket potatoes and amazing coffee. The staff members were genuinely courteous, friendly and super helpful – insuring that Our luncheon experience was perfect in every way.

Excellent! Home made food of quality. Sauces were excellent, well balanced and everything stays warm because the dishes they come on are hot! It’s great! Something I appreciate. These guys use good ingredients. I haven’t tasted steamed long grain rice of this quality in an Indian restaurant, in any restaurant.
Staff are friendly, å little shy but sener very willing to tell you about the pictures on the wall and make sure your meal and evening is as it should be. I came back a couple of times in my 1week stay! Why go somewhere else when you know this is good!

The food is phenomenal. We have never had a bad experience with the food, having tried nearly every vegetarian option now. It is a bit pricey, but the quality is absolutely worth it.

The salsa and guacamole starters could do with more tortilla chips included, but an extra order of them is only £2 so we just did that so as not to waste the deliciousness.

The service can sometimes be a little inattentive at times but the team as a whole seems to be conscious and the cooks will call on service when they need a nudge. We will absolutely be back, though.

After dropping a car off at the garage in Bromsberrow we spotted the blackboard advertising the pub and thought we’d try it. Staff were so friendly and helpful- we caught the last of the evening sun in the garden and came inside for our meal. This was priceless on the day because a few had forgotten what they ordered the waitresses called the names of guest when they brought the food ? this process makes booking for large parties go smoothly. \nHollie was front of house and she went above and beyond and the welcome - all 32 of us could not fault her! Thank you so much ? Often use the drive thru with my elderly mum who loves a Mac D. Late mornings we usually get served by a lovely lady who is always helpful, efficient and multi tasking, I don't know how she does it. Rare to find someone who has time to exchange a few cheery words during a busy job but it makes all the difference. Never fails to offer great service. This one member of staff makes us select this branch over others. I hope she gets recognised for her hard work because working in Mac D's is a tough job, I know because I worked in one of their first UK branches back in the day!

Gastro pub is a term frequently overused, and generally just refers to triple cooked chips and over inflated prices. This really is a gastro pub with fantastic food, a varied menu and locally sourced produce. We had a truly excellent meal at great prices, so much so we all ordered 3 courses.

This was our best meal on our two week holiday from Scotland. If I'm ever in the area again will definitely visit and recommend to others.

Vipen welcomed us with a very warm smile and showed us to our table.\n\nThe menu looked a bit restricted compared to other Indian restaurants menus. \n\nIt is generally said that you can judge an Indian restaurant by the quality and tastes of its popadums. Well once we tasted the popadums we knew we were in for a treat.\n\nWe ordered quite a few starters which we shared, there was a taste explosion in every mouthful.\n\nThen the main course arrived and once again the food was cooked to perfection and everyone enjoyed the food very much. The portions were very generous so everyone was more than satisfied with the meal.\n\nStrangely there was no desert on the menu but after eating so much delicious food there was hardly any room for desert.\n\nTry this restaurant if you live or visit Gloucester, it is a little gem.\n\n⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic Food, the naan breads are top notch. Good prices too. I only gave 3 stars for service because the young woman serving failed to say the plates were very hot, so myself and another member of our group got scolded. Atmosphere is fine, there seemed to be an odd smell every now an then which reminded me of drains. Overall for the price and food quality I'd recommend it. It's also BYOB (Bring your own Booze) and there are shops nearby to get some. Parking is a bit hit and miss, so if you can't park out of the front, you may have to find parking in the business estate. That'll only take you 2 minutes or so to walk to and from.

Actually have visited here for many years on my frequent trips to Gloucester, but don’t think I have ever reviewed it? This place is absolute class from its decor, food, drink and ambience. A lot of people when I mention the name are actually surprised to find it is a Pub/Restaurant! \n\nI noted yesterday that they had “Belhaven Black” on. This is an excellent Scottish beer which I like. It was sad to see that due to techical reason only a pint and 3/4 could be dispensed. However, the Barman (who I think is the Manager/Owner) gave me the remains 3/4 of the pint for free. This is excellent Customer service and just endears me more to the place.\n\nWon’t be in Gloucester now until November but looking forward to coming back in!

The cafe owner was just outstanding. I arrived just after closing and was offered a takeaway afternoon tea for 2. Excellent value and a delicious home baked scone with clotted cream, butter and preserve. What really prompted my review was the friendliness, and courtesy of service by the owner in going the extra mile. We tried 2 cafes earlier and been given short shrift. Cannot over recommend. Am making a point to revisit this lovely place ??

I’ve eaten here on a number of occasions - lunch with friends, after passing my driving test, and brunch with my sister! Every time this place has not disappointed, with the most amazing food and drinks, a cute cosy atmosphere, and affordable prices.
I recently had a sausage roll with 2 side salads which was the perfect combination and portion size for lunch. All the food has been delicious and great quality, the staff are friendly and the room feels welcoming with WiFi, art, and local businesses selling their products too. Will definitely be coming back again!

The food was amazing here, the portions are huge. One rice box is definitely more than enough for 2 people. Burgers were fabulous, we had the gourmet american with peri fries and fried chicken. Manchurian chicken was insanely tasty but spicy. No pictures because it was demolished very quickly by the family. I liked that they give you a small pot of the peri salt so you can season your chips to your own liking. Service was brilliant, the guy replaced my drink without me even asking when my toddler spilt my entire can by accident. They were really friendly and the chocolate cake was delicious, moist and not too sweet but perfectly rich chocolate.

We booked a 2.5 hour boat trip, with a picnic provided. The whole experience was brilliant. The boat was comfortable with a welcome canopy holding off the full sun. The picnic was first class - with a really ample quantity.of cheese and ham rolls, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, scones, a large fruit platter, and a selection of home-made cakes. We travelled for an hour to Saul, had 30 minutes to wander around and then an hour back. Overall a perfectly relaxing way to spend a Sunday afternoon, all overseen by a friendly crew of two.

Stumbled upon the Cross Keys yesterday afternoon, met friends from Bristol, we were in Gloucester from Wolverhampton, and we heard Northern Soul playing from the street, so went in for a pint. Ended up staying for a few hours, the music was great, and then it turned into an 80s disco. The place filled out and everyone was dancing. Absolutely great fun, great atmosphere, lovely landlady. Will definitely return if we're ever in Gloucester again!

What an excellent place to eat. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who made sure we were comfortable and knew what we were doing.

And the food… the portions are generous (we came home with leftovers and we never come home with leftovers!!!!), the sauces that went with the poppadoms alone were a treat. I had the chicken korma which was smooth and sooo tasty and the pashwari naan bread which was the absolute highlight for me - so well made and tasty.

Then the bill came.. and it was so competitively priced for the quality of food and service.

We’ve lived in the area for almost 2 years and now our biggest regret is not trying this restaurant earlier!

Delivery was very fast, about 25 minutes, which is impressive on a Friday. Food was really nice. Cod- crispy and golden batter, cod was tender and flaky.
Chips- well cooked, golden, fresh (not stale like some places tend to be) Portion sizes were generous too and it was good value for money.

Was taken to this cafe this week by my friend from work and it made me feel right at home with proper fresh home cooked food from cajaun chichen salad with all the trimmings to cottage pie that's my choice so far and plan on going through the menu as it has a great range of meals! the breakfast is so tempting but if I was not staying away from home in hotel I would defo want to smash them down. it reminds me of being at home in there friendly staff and customers are so easy to chat to a proper place to be proper happy boshhhh

He’s clearly built a group of highly competent, motivated staff who take real pride in what they do.
