We went to Topolys Saturday Evening for a friend's Birthday & WoW just from walking in the door the restaurant was so warm & inviting & packed.
We were taken to our table for 7 people upstairs which was lovely too.
A lovely atmosphere & such lovely & polite staff. We all ordered drinks then food from the wide selection on the menu. The food arrived and was on hot plates & hot food which was delicious ? we later ordered desserts & coffees.
We All enjoyed our evening & will deffinately be returning to this lovely family run business. 10/10 to you All

Excellent throughout!
We were here on a Saturday evening to enjoy some Tapas. We were warmly welcome. We had ordered five Tapas between the two of us. They came in small pans and were very delicious and the taste was very authentic, too.
The service was very nice, attentive and effective!
Most of the restaurant is accessible by wheelchair. The adapted toilet is big enough and well equipped with grabrails.

Perfect Anniversary Dinner at Gloucester Docks

We visited Trattoria Settebello for our first wedding anniversary and it couldn’t have been more perfect. On arrival, the team warmly acknowledged our special occasion, which was such a thoughtful touch and set the tone for the evening.

The decor is absolutely beautiful and we chose to sit indoors, with lovely views of the docks. Even on a Sunday evening, there was a lively buzz without being overwhelming.

Our server, Josh, was excellent throughout – professional, polite, and attentive, which really enhanced the experience.

The food was outstanding. We started with calamari, and I can honestly say it was the best I’ve ever had – perfectly cooked, delicious flavour, and a generous portion. For mains, we shared the carbonara and a margherita classica pizza. Both were amazing: authentic, full of flavour, and served in hearty portions. The food was so good that we sadly had no room left for dessert, but that just gives us a reason to return!

We also enjoyed a refreshing strawberry mocktail and finished the evening with a lovely coffee, which rounded everything off perfectly.

Overall, it was an amazing experience from start to finish – a fantastic atmosphere, outstanding food, and wonderful service. Highly recommended for a special occasion or simply a great night out. We’ll definitely be back.

Excellent! Home made food of quality. Sauces were excellent, well balanced and everything stays warm because the dishes they come on are hot! It’s great! Something I appreciate. These guys use good ingredients. I haven’t tasted steamed long grain rice of this quality in an Indian restaurant, in any restaurant.
Staff are friendly, å little shy but sener very willing to tell you about the pictures on the wall and make sure your meal and evening is as it should be. I came back a couple of times in my 1week stay! Why go somewhere else when you know this is good!

The food is phenomenal. We have never had a bad experience with the food, having tried nearly every vegetarian option now. It is a bit pricey, but the quality is absolutely worth it.

The salsa and guacamole starters could do with more tortilla chips included, but an extra order of them is only £2 so we just did that so as not to waste the deliciousness.

The service can sometimes be a little inattentive at times but the team as a whole seems to be conscious and the cooks will call on service when they need a nudge. We will absolutely be back, though.

After dropping a car off at the garage in Bromsberrow we spotted the blackboard advertising the pub and thought we’d try it. Staff were so friendly and helpful- we caught the last of the evening sun in the garden and came inside for our meal. We were very comfortable in the surroundings and 3 clean plates showed we enjoyed the food such a variety of choices to make the meal just as we wanted. Thank you. We will be back.

I’ve eaten here on a number of occasions - lunch with friends, after passing my driving test, and brunch with my sister! Every time this place has not disappointed, with the most amazing food and drinks, a cute cosy atmosphere, and affordable prices.
I recently had a sausage roll with 2 side salads which was the perfect combination and portion size for lunch. All the food has been delicious and great quality, the staff are friendly and the room feels welcoming with WiFi, art, and local businesses selling their products too. Will definitely be coming back again!

The food was amazing here, the portions are huge. One rice box is definitely more than enough for 2 people. Burgers were fabulous, we had the gourmet american with peri fries and fried chicken. Manchurian chicken was insanely tasty but spicy. No pictures because it was demolished very quickly by the family. I liked that they give you a small pot of the peri salt so you can season your chips to your own liking. Service was brilliant, the guy replaced my drink without me even asking when my toddler spilt my entire can by accident. They were really friendly and the chocolate cake was delicious, moist and not too sweet but perfectly rich chocolate.

I've driven past this pub dozens of times on the way to other destinations, so decided to actually stop for a change.

We were welcomed by the very cheery landlady. The inside of the pub is just how you would imagine from the outside - Cotswold stone, old timber panelling and flagstone floors.
We just had ciabatta sandwiches for lunch, but they were very generous portions and everything was fresh and tasty. The copious amount of chips they came with were cooked properly too!

I would recommend this as a break in your journey, you won't be disappointed.

Stumbled upon the Cross Keys yesterday afternoon, met friends from Bristol, we were in Gloucester from Wolverhampton, and we heard Northern Soul playing from the street, so went in for a pint. Ended up staying for a few hours, the music was great, and then it turned into an 80s disco. The place filled out and everyone was dancing. Absolutely great fun, great atmosphere, lovely landlady. Will definitely return if we're ever in Gloucester again!

What an excellent place to eat. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who made sure we were comfortable and knew what we were doing.

And the food… the portions are generous (we came home with leftovers and we never come home with leftovers!!!!), the sauces that went with the poppadoms alone were a treat. I had the chicken korma which was smooth and sooo tasty and the pashwari naan bread which was the absolute highlight for me - so well made and tasty.

Then the bill came.. and it was so competitively priced for the quality of food and service.

We’ve lived in the area for almost 2 years and now our biggest regret is not trying this restaurant earlier!

The “ashai”, if that’s how it is spelt, was really nice and a good drink to start off the night. I have only given four star as I haven’t tried the food. I've been coming here for a very long time as the food is spectacular. Plenty to choose from, good value for money with great portion sizes. It's such a cosy, unique place to visit with such impeccable service. The lady who runs this place is absolutely lovely and will go out of her way for you. It's so worth a visit in such a great location be cause you can leave an visit many quirky little shops or simply just visit the Cathedral close by.

Randomly stumbled on this great little pub online. Just visited for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We were greeted by very friendly staff. The venue is lovely and full of character.

The food was amazing and very tasty. The staff were all very attentive and quick to bring food out and check if anything else was required.

We will be back for sure.
