Magda, Lily and James were all very friendly and provided great service. They were super helpful and were quick and efficient when delivering food and making drinks. Noah in the kitchen made a delicious cheese and bacon burger ensuring all personal modifications I had were met. Food was made and delivered quickly and tasted very nice - would reorder in the future. They also checked if for any necessary dietary requirements. It was busy and had a good atmosphere and I felt comfortable eating alone. I had a very good experience!

After an unfortunate experience elsewhere, we walked into The Britannia in Richmond without a reservation, and the team could not have been more welcoming.\n\nWe explained that our son has G6PD deficiency, meaning he cannot have certain ingredients such as fava or broad beans. The staff immediately checked with the kitchen and confirmed that everything on the menu could be safely adapted for him. They even found us a cosy table despite being busy, and went above and beyond by preparing a special dessert suitable for his condition.\n\nTheir attentiveness, understanding, and kindness truly stood out. It’s rare to find a place that shows such genuine care and flexibility.\n\nWe’ll definitely be back, and we’d highly recommend The Britannia to anyone looking for great food and even better hospitality.

We’ve known the Shaftesbury for years but have never eaten dinner there. With our rugby team playing Richmond on a Friday night we decided to book a table for two before the match. We each had the bavette steak which was excellent both in preparation and presentation. A bottle of Montepulciano and complementary water did the rest. Well served by Aaron. I can recommend - and we did beat Richmond.

Me and my partner are currently visiting Richmond and we were told to visit la piazza by our friends. We visited on Wednesday and it didn’t disappoint !!! Dinner was very tasty, ordered the orange duck, pork belly and salmon, all very good but the duck was the best. Nice wine selection and the chocolate fondant was great. Creme brulee was tasty but perhaps a bit runny.
The man serving us was fantastic, however at the end of our meal, when he had left at the end of his shift, we ended up waiting 10 minutes for payment after getting the bill.

The pie was the best pub pie I've had in ages. Ok so its a small bowl wit filling and pastry on top, not a full pie, but the filling is generous, meaty, delicious, succulent and gorgeous. The cabbage alongside was perfectly cooked.
Oh and the beer is good as well.

The highlight of our dinner was undoubtedly the Chatora Dal and Paneer Mutter. The dal was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced — you could tell it had been slow-cooked with love and care. It’s comfort food at its finest, but with a refined touch. The Paneer Mutter was equally delightful — soft, fresh paneer in a beautifully balanced tomato-based sauce, with just the right kick of spice and sweetness from the peas. We booked the inside cabin for our daughter’s wedding lunch. Communication prior to the day was good primarily by email. We sent in a pre order as requested from the lunch menu. We had two last minute cancellations which were no problem.

All the staff, particularly our waitress Jil were wonderful. Compliments to the Kitchen for the food it was tasty, beautifully presented and arrived hot!
We weren’t rushed and greatly appreciated having the downstairs to ourselves.

Walked to this pub from the Scotch Corner hotel in around 15 minutes. Well worth the walk. There was a choice of a couple of real ales and a decent menu. I opted for the legendary steak pie and was not disappointed. It took 25 minutes to arrive which was a good sign(not something thrown in the microwave). OMG it was the best pie this side of the Pennines. Definitely recommend.

Stein’s is the go-to for Bavarian food in London. I’m half German and the dishes they offer feel quite similar to food in Bavaria.

Note that, Stein’s is generally very expensive considering it’s mostly sausages and some potatoe/bread sides. However, I think they do deliver quite well so it’s worth it for a visit.

I’ve tried Stein’s in Kingston, Richmond, and South Kensington branches and I think Richmond has the least attractive atmosphere compared to the other two. I think South Kensington is probably the best one. Note that, there is only outdoor seating and even though they have outdoor heating lamps, it can still deel cold.

I have visisted this restaurant regularly recently due to travelling for work and family occasions the staff are always really nice helpful kind and accommodating pleasant to speak too and have nice attitudes to customers. My son has a disability and they are kind to him helping him with the machine when needed. My dad is 76 they helped him to find me one day as he was a bit distressed with the heat they were concerned. The Good Earth is a Chinese Takeaway. Unlike other patrons we have not yet had a bad meal from them and we have a delivery every Saturday night. David always has a prawn dish and I always have a chicken dish. We have never had any complaints about our food and wash it down with a nice bottle of wine and/or a can of chilled beer. We think the quality of the chicken is excellent ad so are the prawn dishes. Its not cheap but we like it and the delivery is always on time.

Very friendly staff and a perfectly cooked steak. I particularly liked the dog beds available next to the log burner (although it was summer when we visited so it wasn't lit but our labrador enjoyed his visit too). Desert was delicious too.

I came in to cool down with a large iced vanilla latte. Service was great they made the drink quickly. The shop was not that busy when I came in. Very conveniently placed just outside the station. I had a good experience overall?? the drink was nice too!

Wonderful hotel and pub. Great location. We stayed here the last couple nights of our vacation because of the Ted Lasso thing and also close to Heathrow for the trip home. Great area!

Nearby activities: If you are a Ted Lasso fan you’ll want to stay here a couple days.

Safety: Always felt safe out on the streets even at night.

Walkability: Great area to walk.

Food and drinks: Pubs with great food. Waitrose grocery store is a five minute walk. The nicest grocery store I’ve ever been in.

Stayed one night. Such a lovely peaceful place. Our room was a good size bright and had everything required for our stay. Loved the ceiling fan which kept us cool on one of the hottest days of the year.located in a nice street a short walk from the town centre. The hotel had a lovely outside space and a very good English breakfast amongst other choices. TOP Tip: breakfast is best ordered the night before parking to rear of hotel as street spaces are limited
