We've been a few times and the staff are always LOVELY, chilled, helpful and they really add to the experience.\nThe food...well, it's good for outside london, but it will disappoint anyone wanting real tapas...sorry.\nWe had a selection and all were well cooked and well presented, but at £9 a dish most were pretty bland and the mayo with the calamari tasted like cheap shop bought goop.\nSprinkling parsley on dishes doesn't really compensate for them being bland...it's cute, but having had real Spanish tapas with it's depth of flavours and textures I'd say that theirs is 'like' tapas, but isn't really.\nMaybe that's what they've had to do to suit local tastes, but it will disappoint anyone looking for authentic Spanish tapas.\nWe enjoyed what we had and loved the staff, so would recommend to anyone wanting to try something different, just be realistic about what to expect.\nWorked out to about £40 each.\nEnjoy.

Tarla Restaurant - Turkish Meze & Grill

Excellent food served by a brilliant team. The decor is also really interesting. We had a selection of the smaller dishes/platters which were all wonderful although we especially liked the fish dishes. We will certainly be visiting again when next in the area.

The coffees and cappuccino was of high quality and absolutely indulgent so moreish. The full breakfast was cooked to perfection even ate the mushroom and don't normally like them...
The American breakfast was the star fresh fruit maple syrup 3 pancakes so light and fluffy,Cumberland sausage,egg and bacon delicious so tasty chef nailed it. Absolutely exceptionally delicious ? %
You pay for quality and you get it by the bucket loads faultless service highly recommended amazing experience all round.

All the reviews on here completely contrast my experience, I was met by a lovely waitress, I think her name was Rosie, she was brilliant, great smile, great customer service and very funny, she knew exactly what to say and how to say it to put a smile on me and my kids faces and then we were met by another waiter arean…I’m not sure how to spell his name, however he was great too, l good smile good service and was very good when dealing with my daughters, and then the FOOD, it was spectacular I had sesame chicken, calamari and mozzarella dippers, sooooo good, only thing I’d say is normally it’s pricey, however the bottomless brunch deal is extremely good value for money and it runs 24/7

Used for private hire, for surprise 30th birthday celebration for my son. From the start of enquiry to day of party, staff were professional, responsive and accommodating. Thanks Luke, Jonathan and Deni (on the night). Event was perfect, my son was happy which is what I wanted. Premium buffet was good , the only critique is perhaps not so much pizza on the menu- could be substituted for desert selection perhaps . But overall, I was happy.

Very busy, even though we booked, we were told a 40 minute wait for food, which was part of the reason for losing a star. Not enough staff serving, two long queues inside, just to order a drink.

After the long queue and wait for the food and the order, decided to use the app to order the next round of drinks, they took over 15 minutes to deliver the drinks to the table after, I received the order confirmation email with payment taken......thought this was not very good, would have expected them (4 drinks) in half that time.

The restaurant itself was lovely, nice seating area, toilets clean. Drinks were good and the food was really nice

So the food is absolutely incredible. Our favourite takeaway in the area, but I've removed a star because of the absolute rip off price of the starters. Prawn toast for over £10 for 3 small pieces of prawn toast. £9 for 4 duck spring rolls. \n\nIt's fresh, delicious, but they need to increase the starter portions as they are a rip off at the moment.\n\nSaying that, the food is so tasty, all of the curries are to die for, and the noodle dishes are nice (if again, a little small portion wise for the price).

Almost went an hour before they even opened!!!! Luckily we checked and booked 11am breakfast/brunch for eggs Benedict and eggy/bacon bagel thingy which were both delicious. We asked for eggs to be well done and was very pleased with result. (Just freaks me out, any sign of being under cooked and slimey.) We also ordered 5 biscoff pancakes to share and 2 caramel\nLattes each. Service was excellent, friendly and polite. We were the first to arrive when they opened at 11 so music was very low but it a breezy morning birthday brunch and was perfect.

Colleagues and I ate here every day over a week whilst saying in the adjoining Cromwell Hotel. The bar area is very smart with classy stylish decor with pictures of Oliver Cromwell adorning the walls giving the modern bar area an old feel and an insight into this historic building. The restaurant has plenty of comfortable seating and a nice generally busy atmosphere and the tables aren't on top of each other so you can have a conversation with colleagues or friends in private and also not hear everyone around you.\n\nThe staff are well presented and very polite and helpful and always eager to please. Our regular waitress a young Irish lass didn't try to hurry us to order and was very nice cheerful and polite and talkative which is always nice. My colleagues and I were treated very well and despite the restaurant being very busy most evening services we were not rushed out the door to turn over tables but treated as if we were the only people in the restaurant.\n\nOver our weeks stay the food generally arrived at table within 15 to 20 minutes and most of the time didn't disappoint. My colleagues and I generally felt the food was very good with a good range of mains especially the shin of beef and a daily changing fish special although those NOT eating burger based main course dishes did feel that the portions could have been bigger negating the desire for "snack or kebab" within an hour or so of dinner. Would definitely eat here again if I was in the area.

From the warm smiling welcome from Cameron to the care and excellent service from the chef, our anniversary meal was a delight .\nThe salmon and stir fry was a real treat. Succulent, beautifully seared and just the right crunch in the asparagus. Vegetarian udon noodles were so tasty, even though chef was unable to use sesame due to intolerance in one diner. Overall great service, lovely staff and great value food cooked with real love and care . If you want a real Korean treat this place is a must !\nParking outside. Easy to find , clean loos, spotless tables . I cannot recommend it highly enough enough other than to say we will be visiting again even though we are 45 minutes away! A real credit to the area . Popped into the café at Sainsbury’s and was thoroughly impressed. The fish and chips were absolutely spot on—crispy batter, perfectly cooked fish, and lovely chunky chips. Just what you’d hope for!

The coffee was rich and full of flavour, exactly what I needed for a little pick-me-up. And the cake? Simply delightful—light, moist, and a proper treat.

The staff were friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a cracking little spot for a bite to eat, and I’ll certainly be back. Highly recommend!

The Peartree is a great pub that have made some awesome improvements over the years. They have 2 bar areas, 1 sports and the other is chilled. There's a great outdoor sit down area out back and front. The vibes there is very chill bit the Bar Staff are usually excellent... very friendly and welcoming and they let you know the deals on shots ... which is always a winner.
I'd recommend The PearTree for sure ...... good set of regulars down there too. 8/10 overall

Today I went to the Fisherman for a birthday lunch with my mum, brother and son.
We had a fabulous time. Our waitress was super lovely, the food was great & the pub had a relaxed atmosphere.
We will definitely be returning. I had the Canadian burger, with fries & coleslaw. Plus a birthday glass of white wine, (I would recommend Ren). Top notch Burger, cooked to perfection & very tasty.
Altogether a great experience and I am looking forward to going back soon.

I was here for a wedding reception. The food was hit and miss and there was some confusion about the time the buffet should be laid out. Consequently on arrival the food was all out and already pretty much cold which was disappointing. Staff did reheat for us but it wasn't very thorough and the food was at best Luke warm. The sweet and sour chicken was fantastic, even when Luke warm! Chips if they had been warm would have been great, such a shame they were Stone cold. The rest was pretty average. And it very much seemed like the mound of chocolate brownies and the pizzas were courtesy of Costco. Even more disappointing was the 2 tubs of walls ice cream plonked on the window sill. I don't think the older guests realised it was part of the buffet and being you can't refreeze ice cream it seemed very wasteful. The staff however were very pleasant and super friendly.

I really like this chippy and is now our go too when we want a chippy. Don’t bother with anywhere else. I’m from up north and i was spoilt for amazing fish and chips. Moved south and tbh most of the chippy around here ain’t got a clue. I’ve tried 99% of them around the area and I found this the best. Decent priced as well even in this economy. Around £35 for 6 of us. I really like the restaurant part too.

The manager then went and came back with colouring and a game for my sone to pass the time. This was such a nice touch I felt and helped pass the time while waiting for our food.
