Mounthooly, JedburghDrove past this place on the way to walk up the Cheviot and decided to stop by for dinner afterwards. So glad we did! Interesting menu incorporating local game and other local produce. It was absolutely delicious, just what we needed after a long walk and the best meal we’ve had in a while!

Unit 1, Old Station Yard, Edinburgh Rd, JedburghA beautiful cafe that far surpassed expectations. Right on the edge of town in an industrial unit, our expectations were reasonably low. However, as soon as you enter the atmosphere changes and you start to get excited by the range of products on offer. Savoury lunches looked good, but we went for coffee and cakes, which were outstanding! A really friendly environment and dog friendly too. Will definitely go back!

Kenmore Bank, Abbey Bridge Coffee House, The Glebe, Jedburgh☕️ Had takeaway coffees - including amazing mocha ? - and haggis roll from the takeaway hatch. Great service, excellent food and drink and the view from the car park is stunning!

52 High St, JedburghSmall local bar, basic drinks on draft and a selection of spirits, very “cosy” as in the only room would hold about 20 people before it was full. We visited on a Thursday around tea time and the few locals in there were friendly and chatty.

45 High St, JedburghThis take away is fabulous,my wife and I were passing through and stopped at Jedburgh Baguettes,the service was very good and the young chap who owns it explained everything on display even the scrumptious cakes which his sister makes you should definitely try this place.by the way we had two baguettes and a one tray bake each with the hottest cup of tea I have had.The prices are unbelievable for what you get.We sat outside then went in and chatted to the owner and his sister to whom we wish all the best for the future. The Capon Tree Town House
61 High St, JedburghParking was a little limited on street, but it was very early December 2025, just before the ramp up to Christmas parties etc. I'm sure there would have been other options around. The restaurant was lovely and great value. Had a couple of drinks later that evening with the owner and staff, they were lovely and the service was brilliant. The rooms were very nicely kept and provided everything I needed for my work stay. The location was perfect for the workplace I was visiting 5 mins down the road. Jedburgh is clearly a lovely tourist trap too at the right time of year. Definitely recommend staying here. Only down side for me was that it was a continental breakfast only, however, I can't blame them as I was the only guest and it was a lovely continental, just personal preference. Would stay again.

The Belter's Bar
23A Castle Gate, JedburghVisited belters bar for dinner whilst visiting jedburgh. Its a quirky pub with regards to layout and its decor but I think that's what gives it, it's charm.
Staff were very friendly and attentive during our visit. There is a good selection on the menu and it is well priced. Generous portions are given and the three of us left feeling stuffed after enjoying our meal.
I would definitely recommend visiting belters bar, whether it be for a drink or some food.

Abbey Bridge Stove Centre
Unit 2, Riverside Works, Edinburgh Rd, JedburghOur visit here was unexpectedly brilliant! We came as a family and had a range of dishes from pizza, to all day breakfast to toasties and soup. Everything was beautifully cooked and very delicious. The portions were huge - enough that we took pizza home and had it for lunch the next day. What a find! We’ll definitely be back - if I could rate more than 5 stars I would.

Golden River Chinese Takeaway
16 Canongate, JedburghPhoned in an order, told it would take 15 mins but on arrival it wasn't ready, we then waited another 15 mins until it was ready.
Prices seem very expensive, almost cost £20 for just one meal, but when we got home the portions were huge, it could easily feed 3 people.
Food was very nice and enjoyable but nothing was amazing!

8 Abbey Pl, JedburghI had the best fish’n’chips of my life here: the batter on the fish was crispy and delicious, and the chips were perfectly cooked. No sauce needed, just a splash of vinegar, and it was fantastic. There’s a small outdoor seating area with umbrellas, which was nice. The only downside was the service – the lady serving was a bit unfriendly, which took away from the overall experience. The food deserves 5 stars, but because of the atmosphere I’m giving 4.

51 High St, JedburghOne of the best Indian restaurants I’ve eaten from. I’ve been to plenty up and down the country in my job over the last 20 years and I’m ranking this place 3rd in my favourites. Thanks for a cracking curry
