Food, delicious and cook on my sea bass was bang on. We had several waiting staff serve us and were friendly and knowledgeable but Lynn(e) who had been there pre pandemic was just lovely and so helpful. 5 star evening meal and their new( well new to us) was smart, understated and comfortable. If you ever find yourself in this neck of the woods give it a go......you won't be disappointed

Unit 1, Old Station Yard, Edinburgh Rd, JedburghStumbled across this cafe last night while walking the dog and decided to go for breakfast, and omg it didn't disapoint, absolutely brilliant breakfast cream cakes to die for and the most friendly pleasant staff, will definitely visit again.

Simply Scottish
6-8 High St, JedburghPopped in for breakfast, was very impressed! Full Scottish was brilliant, aye, could be a wee bit bigger, but everything was top quality. Bacon obviously done under the grill, amazing link sausages accompanied with the best haggis I've ever tasted.
Americano was served hot and strong - too many I've tried are insipid and cold .
Great slice of the obviously home made cake to finish off .
Best brekkie I've had in a very, very long time!
(My partner really enjoyed hers and was impressed by the Edinburgh Earl grey tea).
Service was quick and polite.
Top quality.

52 High St, JedburghSmall local bar, basic drinks on draft and a selection of spirits, very “cosy” as in the only room would hold about 20 people before it was full. We visited on a Thursday around tea time and the few locals in there were friendly and chatty.

45 High St, JedburghThis take away is fabulous,my wife and I were passing through and stopped at Jedburgh Baguettes,the service was very good and the young chap who owns it explained everything on display even the scrumptious cakes which his sister makes you should definitely try this place.by the way we had two baguettes and a one tray bake each with the hottest cup of tea I have had.The prices are unbelievable for what you get.We sat outside then went in and chatted to the owner and his sister to whom we wish all the best for the future. The Belter's Bar
23A Castle Gate, JedburghVisited belters bar for dinner whilst visiting jedburgh. Its a quirky pub with regards to layout and its decor but I think that's what gives it, it's charm.
Staff were very friendly and attentive during our visit. There is a good selection on the menu and it is well priced. Generous portions are given and the three of us left feeling stuffed after enjoying our meal.
I would definitely recommend visiting belters bar, whether it be for a drink or some food.

Unit 2, Riverside Works, Edinburgh Rd, JedburghOur visit here was unexpectedly brilliant! We came as a family and had a range of dishes from pizza, to all day breakfast to toasties and soup. Everything was beautifully cooked and very delicious. The portions were huge - enough that we took pizza home and had it for lunch the next day. What a find! We’ll definitely be back - if I could rate more than 5 stars I would.

The Capon Tree Town House
61 High St, JedburghWe discovered the restaurant by chance. From the outside, it looks unassuming but nice. The interior atmosphere was great, and the staff were very friendly. The menu is small, but sufficient. I strongly recommend going for the three-course menu right away – it’s usually cheaper. Now to the food: it was excellent; all eight dishes we had were very tasty and nicely presented.

Golden River Chinese Takeaway
16 Canongate, JedburghPhoned in an order, told it would take 15 mins but on arrival it wasn't ready, we then waited another 15 mins until it was ready.
Prices seem very expensive, almost cost £20 for just one meal, but when we got home the portions were huge, it could easily feed 3 people.
Food was very nice and enjoyable but nothing was amazing!

Abbey Take Away
8 Abbey Pl, JedburghI had the best fish’n’chips of my life here: the batter on the fish was crispy and delicious, and the chips were perfectly cooked. No sauce needed, just a splash of vinegar, and it was fantastic. There’s a small outdoor seating area with umbrellas, which was nice. The only downside was the service – the lady serving was a bit unfriendly, which took away from the overall experience. The food deserves 5 stars, but because of the atmosphere I’m giving 4.
