Lochside St, ObanFriendly and courteous staff, order is done on a self service screen take a number place on your table and wait. Service was quick but prices a bit expensive for a can of irn bru £4.70.
Good selection of food and hot drinks, food was excellent. Nice and clean.sauses are in bottles that you take to your table.

130 George St, ObanWas on holiday in oban last week from Yorkshire. Went in for a pizza and it was one of the best pizzas we have had. Very fresh and tasty. So good went back 2 days later and had another one. Very nice. Will call in again next time we are in oban.

Marmaris Kebab House Oban
91 George St, ObanA big thank you to Marmaris who went above and beyond with their customer service today. I ordered build your own pizzas and one of which I meant to be cheese free, I didn't press cheese as an option without realising the pizzas came with cheese anyway. This was ordered as a collection, when I phoned despite it essentially being my error (though it could be highlighted somewhere on the page build your own pizza starts with cheese) I was sent a replacement pizza via home delivery with no extra charge very quickly

I’m vegan and the staff were as they should be.
The colleague that served me was good.
He changed gloves for my food as it is vegan, I didn’t need to ask for him to do that, that is what it needs to be like (staff doing what is right without being asked)

28 George St, ObanMy wife and I went for dinner on Xmas day like we have in previous years, and as usual we had an excellent meal.\nWe had vegetable pakora to start, followed by a lamb jalfrezi for the boss and chicken tikka korai for myself, both were delicious.\nThe service is very friendly and professional. 34 Corran Esplanade, ObanThis place gives the feeling that you're in a vacation. A wonderful place to be with the sea view and lovely location. The pastries were a little too sweet for my taste and quantity of hot chocolate was generous that I found it hard to finish the entire thing. Must say that the hot chocolate tasted like real hot chocolate and not just a premix one. Found the prices to be a bit too expensive and the space management inside the cafe can be better. P.S - There is a no photo policy inside the store, but by the time I noticed that sign, I had already taken these photos.

The staff were so lovely and welcoming and looked after us so well. The food was delicious and the place had a lovely atmosphere with dogs very welcome ?? Thank you so much for looking after us after such a busy day.

Kerrera Marina Isle of Kerrera, ObanLovely restaurant. We took the Kerrera Ferry and walked the 2.5km but you can also travel on a direct ferry from Oban evey few hours.
Terrific specials with local foods and drinks.
Also lovely help yourself tea and coffee station with well stocked cakes for the marina.

2 Argyll St, ObanLittle pub up a side street. Does what is says on the tin really as when I popped in the horse racing was on as a few gentleman supped pints of Tennants and Guinness. Has a pool table. Recommended for a pint or two. No food on just beer. Suited me fine ? ? ?

Calmac Pier, ObanWe read about The Seafood Hut before arriving in Obin and knew we had to try it. Where better to get seafood than in a coastal city? It was great! The order of mussels was huge and really tasty. We also got salmon sandwiches. The order of mussels was so large we saved the sandwiches for later. Well, we saved one of the sandwiches, a seagull stole one of them, still in the wrapper, while I was savoring my mussels. They only take cash so be prepared. Plus, seating is limited at the picnic table so grab a place while one goes to order. We seldom eat at a place twice on vacation, but we made an exception for The Seafood Hut!

7 Argyll Square, ObanThis place lived up to expectations, which seems rare lately. Service was great as were the Latte's and the wonderful selection of cakes. We got the Bakewell slice. It was so good. We got take away but actually sat out the front in the sunshine for awhile whilst we are.

The Pokey Hat
17 Stafford St, ObanLocated in the center of Oban with nice seating just outside. The ice cream palor is local and ice cream is made fresh on site daily. My family and I have eaten ice cream every day for the past week on our holiday and this place by far was the best! The Biscoff ice cream may be my favorite flavor ever. We also enjoyed coconut with coconut shavings, and mint chocolate chip. Very friendly and will be swinging back by before heading home.

The creative dishes were not only of the highest standard in terms of flavour, but also visually appealing. It was clear that they worked with fresh, high-quality ingredients. 9 Argyll St, ObanWent to this wee place for breakfast based on TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. Brilliant service with a smile from start to finish. The lady serving us took into account our dietary requirements and tailored it to suit us. My daughter asked for the cream cheese bagel with salmon & scrambled eggs. However, she didn't want the cream cheese or the scrambled egg. She was given the option to add other fillings to the bagel and she happily chose bacon and avocado. My husband has a dairy allergy & again he was well catered for.

We were greeted promptly and seated quickly, and I have to say — we genuinely felt welcomed and valued from the moment we walked in.
While the vegan options are limited, what really impressed us was the staff's willingness to answer questions and cater to what they can offer. That kind of openness and flexibility makes a big difference.
I had the full Scottish breakfast, which was excellent, and my partner went for the smashed avocado topped with a perfectly cooked egg — both dishes were fresh, well-presented, and delicious.
It’s easy to see why this place is rated so highly by both locals and visitors. We’d definitely return.

Restaurant at the Isle of Eriska
Benderloch, ObanFriendly service, always saying yes to every request.
The space is cozy and charming, with a lovely garden view.
The food was outstanding—from the starter to the main course. I’ve never had duck breast and foie gras so tender and juicy. In my opinion, it’s one of the best duck breast I’ve ever had.
The scallops were also excellent, paired with a wonderful sauce.
The fish dish was relatively good, though I personally found the surface a bit too salty—everything else was spot on.
The beef was slightly dry, possibly due to the use of Scottish beef.
At £85 for a 3-course meal, I find the price reasonable for the quality.
Definitely worth experiencing.

Connel, ObanThe Loch Nell oysters are really delicious. And the Chicken Balmoral was a treat. Indefinitely recommend. My wife took the haddock and chips... Also a winner! I did find the blackthorn cider a bit on the dull side compared to cider from French Brittany that I'm used to.

Tralee bay fish and chips
Benderloch, ObanI was recommended to try this place, and have to say it was fantastic the chips and fish were perfect and no complaints at all. I did ring to order ( and they rang me back) with a time slot etc and only took cash. So please ring ahead as someone turned up and was told over an hour wait. And I can see why with the food tastes so good.

Been wanting to come here for a long time and finally went for my business night out. There was only myself and my wife, but it was amazing. We were almost ushered into the wine cupboard to wait for our table, which I think was a bit of a mild panic by the waiting staff, so I refused. Please don’t do that.
Angus beef dish was perfect and the Christmas dinner was just as good. Maybe a little sparse on menu choices but what we had was very high quality.
Thoroughly recommended.

Kerrera Tea Garden and Bunkhouse
Kerrera, Gylen Castle, Lower, ObanWe went to this beautiful little tea garden on Kerrera on a whole-day walking-trip from Oban that includes a ferry.
Glyen Castle is just around the corner, so the two can be combined easily.
The people are super nice, the food and drinks are delicious and all together the destination is more than worth the travels.
The only potential for improvement are the disposable cups and bags for which there is no alternative.
Make sure to be on time, as the cafe closes at 4 pm sharp.

The Ferry Terminal, ObanPerfect place to warm up after a freezing ferry ride! The homemade lentil soup is delicious paired with a gooey toast and a steaming plate of chips. The food came quickly and the staff are really nice.
