I have lost count of how many times I have visited for breakfast, Sunday lunch or just for a coffee.\nI have lived in Oban for four years and have been coming to Cuan Mor for at least two years. I can honestly say I haven’t had a bad experience. \nThe meals are always well cooked and hot, especially the yummy breakfasts.\nThe staff are always polite and helpful, even at peak tourist hours when somebody may be off sick.\nThe management is attentive and the atmosphere is great.

Friendly and courteous staff, order is done on a self service screen take a number place on your table and wait. Service was quick but prices a bit expensive for a can of irn bru £4.70.
Good selection of food and hot drinks, food was excellent. Nice and clean.sauses are in bottles that you take to your table.

A big thank you to Marmaris who went above and beyond with their customer service today. I ordered build your own pizzas and one of which I meant to be cheese free, I didn't press cheese as an option without realising the pizzas came with cheese anyway. This was ordered as a collection, when I phoned despite it essentially being my error (though it could be highlighted somewhere on the page build your own pizza starts with cheese) I was sent a replacement pizza via home delivery with no extra charge very quickly

We visited a few times while we were in Oban. \nThe staff were really polite and helpful, we felt very welcome.\nThe menu selection is excellent, and the staff were open to reasonable levels of requests (fried egg on toast vs scrambled egg on toast, which means a massive level of difference to feeding a toddler).\nThe quality of the food is another massive point to mention, the sausages and bacon were both excellent. I enjoyed the Stornoway Black Pudding (less fatty than the Lancastrian Black Pudding I typically enjoy).\nAll in all this is an excellent little cafe with a warm welcoming environment and excellent quality of food.

Bobbed in here to pick up a gift having not visited for a few years and was immediately welcomed by the smell of chocolate. Despite being mid week it was busy but luckily we managed to grab a table & have the most amazing hot chocolates & a few chocolates to nibble on. Needless to say we left with more chocolate!! A lovely cafe/ shop where everything is handmade so it feels special. Only downside is there are no more pot cups & drinks are now served in cardboard cups (there are signs explaining that this is due to issues with drainage in the building but these really should be fixed to cut down on cardboard cups).

Lovely restaurant. We took the Kerrera Ferry and walked the 2.5km but you can also travel on a direct ferry from Oban evey few hours.
Terrific specials with local foods and drinks.
Also lovely help yourself tea and coffee station with well stocked cakes for the marina.

We read about The Seafood Hut before arriving in Obin and knew we had to try it. Where better to get seafood than in a coastal city? It was great! The order of mussels was huge and really tasty. We also got salmon sandwiches. The order of mussels was so large we saved the sandwiches for later. Well, we saved one of the sandwiches, a seagull stole one of them, still in the wrapper, while I was savoring my mussels. They only take cash so be prepared. Plus, seating is limited at the picnic table so grab a place while one goes to order. We seldom eat at a place twice on vacation, but we made an exception for The Seafood Hut!

Located in the center of Oban with nice seating just outside. The ice cream palor is local and ice cream is made fresh on site daily. My family and I have eaten ice cream every day for the past week on our holiday and this place by far was the best! The Biscoff ice cream may be my favorite flavor ever. We also enjoyed coconut with coconut shavings, and mint chocolate chip. Very friendly and will be swinging back by before heading home.

We had a fish and chops here and really enjoyed the food that we had. The queue was quite long but the staff were great at getting through the customers quite fast. The fish and chips were really nice and they stayed warm for a good while. If I had my time again I would probably have sat inside but it was very busy.

On a coach trip to the west of Scotland, the driver recommended that if we wanted fish & chips then don't go anywhere else, we walked in the seating area was packed out, we waited around 15 minutes for a table, we ordered two haddock, one chips, two drinks and curry sauce, the food was exceptionally good, after chatting with the owner Antony? He said his grandad was Nories

Went to this wee place for breakfast based on TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. Brilliant service with a smile from start to finish. The lady serving us took into account our dietary requirements and tailored it to suit us. My daughter asked for the cream cheese bagel with salmon & scrambled eggs. However, she didn't want the cream cheese or the scrambled egg. She was given the option to add other fillings to the bagel and she happily chose bacon and avocado. My husband has a dairy allergy & again he was well catered for.

We were greeted promptly and seated quickly, and I have to say — we genuinely felt welcomed and valued from the moment we walked in.

While the vegan options are limited, what really impressed us was the staff's willingness to answer questions and cater to what they can offer. That kind of openness and flexibility makes a big difference.

I had the full Scottish breakfast, which was excellent, and my partner went for the smashed avocado topped with a perfectly cooked egg — both dishes were fresh, well-presented, and delicious.

It’s easy to see why this place is rated so highly by both locals and visitors. We’d definitely return.

Friendly service, always saying yes to every request.
The space is cozy and charming, with a lovely garden view.
The food was outstanding—from the starter to the main course. I’ve never had duck breast and foie gras so tender and juicy. In my opinion, it’s one of the best duck breast I’ve ever had.
The scallops were also excellent, paired with a wonderful sauce.
The fish dish was relatively good, though I personally found the surface a bit too salty—everything else was spot on.
The beef was slightly dry, possibly due to the use of Scottish beef.
At £85 for a 3-course meal, I find the price reasonable for the quality.
Definitely worth experiencing.

The Loch Nell oysters are really delicious. And the Chicken Balmoral was a treat. Indefinitely recommend. My wife took the haddock and chips... Also a winner! I did find the blackthorn cider a bit on the dull side compared to cider from French Brittany that I'm used to.

I was recommended to try this place, and have to say it was fantastic the chips and fish were perfect and no complaints at all. I did ring to order ( and they rang me back) with a time slot etc and only took cash. So please ring ahead as someone turned up and was told over an hour wait. And I can see why with the food tastes so good.

What a find! Brilliant location twinned with super staff, this restaurant is the perfect spot for dinner. It was busy being a Friday night but the staff had plenty of time for us and made us feel very welcome. Menu choice was difficult as it all sounded so good. Sole was cooked to perfection! First of all the lounge bar area has been refurbished and now a lot more brighter. We booked a table for new year's eve as we've been here for food lots of times and never disappointed. It was very busy and two other tables received their food before us (we ordered before them), but the order was slightly different from what we asked for. Staff apologised and we were offered the two meals FOC . As usual my large sea bass on a bed of creamy risotto was excellent as was my wife's freshly cooked highland chicken breast dish. Thanks again.

We went to this beautiful little tea garden on Kerrera on a whole-day walking-trip from Oban that includes a ferry.
Glyen Castle is just around the corner, so the two can be combined easily.
The people are super nice, the food and drinks are delicious and all together the destination is more than worth the travels.
The only potential for improvement are the disposable cups and bags for which there is no alternative.
Make sure to be on time, as the cafe closes at 4 pm sharp.

This is an unassuming restaurant on the north pier in Oban. It has a simple modern & clean decor and there are some very nice views. The menu has lots of seafood & fish options. We had a seafood platter with mussels, crab, prawns & more shellfish & it was very tasty. The deserts were also nice & there were some nice wines available. A pleasant lunch which was delicious. It is more expensive than other options in Oban but nice for a treat.
