The Maltings Cafe
14 High St, Clun, Craven ArmsWe love this little cafe, the owners work really hard to make every visit a delight. Sarah cooks all the food herself (no catering here) and it shows. The meals can be big so bring an appetite! Coffees all come with a foil wrapped chocolate too. SuperbParking: Parking within 100mts at the clun River Bridge car park (can be busy)

The White Horse Inn, Clun
The Square, Clun, Craven ArmsUnbelievably good pub and restaurant. Disclaimer- i live nearby. I had takeaway fish and chips tonight and I can honestly say, best I have ever had. Less than a tenner which is cheaper than local chip ship (7 miles away). Genuinely amazing town and genuinely amazing pub and restaurant. Found the place I'd be happy to die in!

The Sun Inn
5 Rosemary Ln, Leintwardine, Craven ArmsDelicious ale and cider, friendly place. Full of history. Very welcoming and we look forward to stopping again next time we are over this way. Great place to stop on a sunny afternoon in the garden. Bet it's very cozy on a not so sunny day as indoors is lovely.

The Station Cafe
42 Shrewsbury Rd, Craven ArmsI was heading for a cafe in Clun not too far away, but unfortunately it was shut when I arrived around 13:30! So I thought I would go to the Station cafe, as it wasn’t that far away! When I arrived at the cafe, the owner said they had just finished service, as they had a very busy morning, and had vertically run out of food! No problem I said , and walked towards the door! The owner then asked what I fancy! Cheese & ham toastie would do! He went into the kitchen and asked the cook if she would be prepared to make this for me! No problem at all! So I had a lovely toastie & cappuccino coffee for just over £8.00 quid! Will definitely be back! Many thanks & much appreciated by a hungry biker!

The Swan Inn
B4368, Aston Munslow, Craven ArmsJust had a wonderful meal at the Swan inn, food piping hot, really tasty home cooked, we all had steak and ale pie, plenty on the plate, possibly the nicest I've had anywhere.
My daughter had the Swan burger, really good she said.
Excellent friendly attentive staff, even when we were all full up and didn't order deserts, they kindly gave my daughter a Chocolate Brownie with ice cream and a candle on the house as it was her birthday.
If we return to the area I would definitely make a point of going back to the Swan Inn
Excellent ??

The Crown Inn
Clunton, Craven ArmsFirst day of our hols in the Knighton area and we found this amazing pub I googled and found these fab reviews and just had to try it. We weren't disappointed. We were recommended to have the camembert platter with chips, we had honey and chutney too OMG wasn't this amazing I was told to dip a chip in honey and then melted camembert. So yummy and we washed it down with some stout and 0% Guinness I was the driver! The owner mentioned they had dessert and we couldn't resist the banoffee caramel pudding and the ? meringue! All in all it was so worth it a lovely start to our holiday and the pub was lovely
with a host that was lovely and nothing was any trouble amazing hospitality! There was a nice seating area outside too. The pub was spotlessly clean and lovely scented smell in the ladies toilet great attention to detail! Well worth a visit and a little hidden gem!

Route 49
44 Shrewsbury Rd, Craven ArmsWe stopped here for a break on our journey from south to north Wales. Was glad we did. We sat on a bench outside to eat our food in the sun. I was going to give fewer stars for atmosphere because we were in front of a road then thought better of it, because it's not their fault the road is there and if it weren't for the road we wouldn't have spotted this place! So 5 stars for atmosphere it is because the shop was spotlessly clean. Food was great and cooked fresh to order. Would stop here again if in the area.

Hundred House Inn
Purslow, Craven ArmsWe were staying just 0.8 miles away from the pub and telephoned them to ask about local taxi firms so we could go and have a meal and a few drinks. The landlady said that taxis are very scarce in the area. After we had already telephoned one taxi firm and quoted us £17 each way. The landlady offered to take us back to the cottage we were staying in. What a lovely lady. We had a drink each and the very best fish and amazing homemade chips ever. Would highly recommend this pub, very friendly atmosphere, very friendly staff and amazing chips.

Raza's
5 Corvedale Rd, Craven ArmsWe landed on our feet here - the only place that we could find to eat in Craven Arms on a Sunday evening! Our Indian meal was good quality. My dopiaza was hotter than I expected, but soon addressed with mint yoghurt. Well cooked and plentiful. I had a pleasing kulfi afterwards.
