We have visited many times and the food is always excellent.The staff are always very friendly and helpful and there is always a great atmosphere. Even on a weekday it tends to be popular. We always look forward to our meals and I'm sure we'll be back again soon!

Bridgwater Rd, North Petherton, BridgwaterWe stopped by last night as a pitstop on a long journey, we had been turned away else where and could see it was busy here too. A waitress managed to squeeze us in and appolgised for how busy they were. We waited for a little while to be served but the wait was so worth it! The food was so lovely and homely. I adored every single mouthful. The service was also brilliant the waitresses kept checking on us and appolgising that it was taking a little longer than usual. I left greatful we had been turned away at the next pub along. They also had a band playing which just added to the lovely atmosphere.

They didn’t forget my pizza that’s a plus, plenty of apple juice in the fridge. Some the employees look a bit miserable, a smile wouldn’t hurt it would make the customers feel a lot better. One of the employees is friendly and polite however, also cute asf which is a win win in this case.
Probably the best Greggs I have visited to be fair, on a plus side not hard to get too, however definitely best if you drive there as it’s a bit of a walk otherwise.

We haven't been there for a few years I remember having the battered mushrooms when I was a kid they are still lovely. The fish was tasty and the battered chips were out of this world. While the prices are great and very affordable. The food is not at the standard that it previously was at with hard chewy tasteless flatbreads scrappy bits of salad, misleading images, small fry portions, minimal fresh salad and a hard burnt egg.

56 – 66 Eastover, BridgwaterWe’ve celebrated a few birthdays here over the years. Our first visit (back in Nov 2019) was excellent, a truly fabulous dining experience with a well-balanced menu. In 2020, the food was still good, though not quite at the same level. By 2023, the menu changes seemed to lack the balance and fine taste we had enjoyed earlier, and unfortunately the overall experience hasn’t returned to that original high standard.
That said, the restaurant is conveniently located in the Mercure Hotel with plenty of parking, and for the area it remains a good option.

Rose Cottage, Perry green, BridgwaterWe recently had a large group (19!!) staying at the Model Farm Airbnb and for one of the nights we ordered from this local pizza place. Robin had amazing communication and got all the pizza to us nice and hot! Great options for toppings as well and even catered for our vegan friend with cheese and vegan meat toppings which is such a rarity! Thank you so much and definitely would recommend to any others staying locally :)Vegetarian options: Veg wedge and the porky please (can both be made vegan!)

My recent visit to Elachi in Bridgwater was an absolute delight. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how spotlessly clean and tidy the restaurant was, creating a very pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for our meal.
The food itself was thoroughly pleasurable. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. It’s clear they use high-quality ingredients, and the menu offered a great selection to choose from.
What truly made our evening special, however, was the outstanding service. Our waiter, Jay, was fantastic. He was attentive, professional, and incredibly friendly. He greeted us with a warm smile and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel genuinely welcome and looked after throughout our entire visit.
Overall, I can't recommend Elachi enough. If you're looking for delicious food in a clean, inviting setting with some of the best service in town, this is the place to go. A huge thank you to Jay and the team for a memorable evening! We will certainly be back.

My colleague and I ordered the mix grill packed with meat, including lamb, chicken, ribs, and adana with egg fried rice with traditional chilli sauce and salad. It could have easily fed up to 4, and the toasted bread wasn't too heavy either. My favourites were the succulent wings and the juicy ribs ?. A hidden gem, truly. Defo go again without doubt. A must try.

The pub itself dates back to the 1400's, it's very quaint and massively dog friendly...in fact it's a nightly pageant for super cool and cute pooches ??
There's a superb menu for both the weekend and weeknights, the quality is outstanding...nothing is out of the freezer ?
Huge thanks to Izzy and Matt who managed very well on a very busy Thursday evening...and to the Chef - Primo!

5 Binford Pl, BridgwaterA most charming cafe whose rich blue garden decor features large historic pictures of Bridgwater’s River Parrett. Four of us enjoyed a late lunch, so we had our choice of table, and our very capable server ensured we had excellent service.
Two of us enjoyed the daily quiche, one had the excellent salmon and eggs, and a fourth was very satisfied with the generous portions of the ham salad. We enjoyed a flat white and americano to round out our experience.

It's a bit of an alternative/rock scene pub, which is right up my street, and the staff and regular patrons were welcoming, friendly, and lively. There is a huge selection of beers, including many local ales from small breweries, which is great to see. It's very well priced too. I have heard good things about the live music from others too.

Trust me haha.

Highlight to Simon for making me feel welcome an like I'd been visiting for years. Overall a cracking little bar with a massive beer garden that I imagine gets busy in the warmer weather. The Frying Scotsman
The Layby, Puriton Hill, BridgwaterI can honestly say The Frying Scotsman serves one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The burger is cooked fresh to order, perfectly juicy inside with a nice char on the outside, and packed into a soft bun that holds everything together without falling apart. The toppings are generous and well-balanced, every bite is full of flavour but never overwhelming.
On top of that, the service is always friendly and welcoming. Even if there’s a queue, it’s worth the wait. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and try their burger. You’ll understand why it’s a favorite!

The George Williams Centre, Friarn Ave, BridgwaterJust a message to say we turned up very late in the day today (my error got closing time wrong) and we were met with the most king and amazing service from the ladies behind the counter! They crammed in just before closing the 2 smoothest and best decaf cappuccinos we have ever had with some of the most tantalising cannolli! 6 Clare St, BridgwaterCame here for dinner. Had a beautiful steak it was so flavourful and well presented. Would highly recommend coming here for food. The gentleman serving was very kind and attentive.

Sea Ln, BridgwaterThis feels like a little secret tucked away down a country lane...when you arrive there is plenty of parking and it will feel a little like you are entering someone's back garden but it is clearly signposted and welcoming. Lots of outdoor seating, but we chose to order to take away as it was a bit chilly.
You make your choice from the board, ring the bell, out comes the owner, they take cards which is helpful. He brought all the food out to the car for us which was so kind ( I'm not sure he'd manage to do that if it was a busier time, but a kind thing to do for us whilst it was quiet)
The food was delicious..the scones were incredible, light as a feather.
The sandwiches yummy, great bread, proper butter we chose ham and cheese the cheese was something else ? ?
All our drinks were nice and hot, good coffee too.
Can't fault..please don't turn up expecting indoor seating and China teacups..this is very good quality food the menu is limited and an excellent cream tea all served in take away boxes, with plenty of seating in a nature filled garden (or to take away) very dog friendly too ?

30 Westonzoyland Rd, BridgwaterWe ordered online this evening for collection, it was great service yes it took a little longer than estimated but it was worth the wait. We haven't been there for a few years I remember having the battered mushrooms when I was a kid they are still lovely. The fish was tasty and the battered chips were out of this world. Thank you for amazing dinner. X

40 Eastover, BridgwaterWanted Breakfast and this venue delivered on Service Food and Atmosphere. Had the Scottish Breakfast which had white pudding corner and haggis. All of which I've never had before and it didn't disappoint 10/10. Friendly staff and lovely and clean.

West St, BridgwaterMet some ladies for lunch today and the food is homemade and delicious. They had a large party in for coffee so it was very loud and hard to hear my party even though we were sat very close to each other. Very reasonably priced.

95 Wembdon Rd, BridgwaterQuantock is great value for money. It's always a nice warm and welcoming place to be with lovely staff. Food is decent. I really enjoyed the carvery today. It's a regular place for us and the children as they love it. Definitely recommend.

8 W Quay, BridgwaterI ordered a Greek special 10 inch pizza, absolutely loved it, great freshly made pizza delivered with a smile! The staff are very friendly and love a chin wag about the footy. Highly recommend :)
