18 Farncombe St, Farncombe, GodalmingMy absolute go-to for a curry since I discovered them randomly a few months ago. Honestly, the best curry I think I've ever had. Consistently brilliant. Clearly use high quality ingredients as taste and texture is always spot on. Mains are never swimming in excess grease. Food also served in foil tins, as opposed to plastic which is a huge bonus. Sundries consistently brilliant. Everything about it. Food always hot and prompt. When an independent business cares about its customers and what they do, it really shows and deserves appreciation. Thank you so much.

Inn On The Lake Godalming
Ockford Rd, GodalmingI visited here with a friend on the 3rd October. It was around 1 pm and I didn't know if we'd get a table without a reservation but as it turned out it was pretty empty. We both ordered fish and chips. The fish was really fresh and the batter was light and crisp. The chips were great. I didn't really like the minted pea puree but that's a personal thing. My friend liked it.\n\nThe place became very busy and noisy when a wake with a lot of people arrived. The noise did spoil the atmosphere somewhat. \n\nI live locally and have always wanted to try this place and would be happy to visit again.

Kings Mews, 28 High St, GodalmingTogether with my brother and his son, I had lunch for the first time earlier today at the Piazza Firenze Italian Restaurant on Godalming Restaurant.\n\nIn many ways, it was a process of elimination as we were unable to find many other suitable eateries for a late lunch. This proved to be our good fortune as the Piazza Firenze have an excellent (value for money - £14.95) two course set lunch menu.\n\nIn this regard, I much enjoyed both Mozzarella & Tomato starter and Chicken Breast (2 Breasts), Mashed Potato & Broccoli main course with a delicious creamy mushroom sauce. This was accompanied by excellent service.\n\nAll in all, Piazza Firenze proved a great find and I would be more than happy to pay a return visit in the not too distant future.

Good selection of beers and guest ales and a lunchtime menu to suit all. Double fire places in the main bar and a great back bar with dart board. It is also the only place to watch the six nations with friends and family. Guess beer is Abbot. Tribute is still a Superb pint.

The St, Hascombe, GodalmingI came to this pub on sunday for a roast, and can I just say I was absolutely blown away. Everything was perfect! We had the T-bone steak, which came with all the sides a normal roast does, and two roast beefs. All of the dishes were cooked to perfection! The environment was buzzing from the moment we walked into the door! We were greeted by a lovely smile and got seated almost instantly! Our lovely server Maia made sure we had everything we needed throughout the whole meal, we never felt we had to catch her attention. To sum it up this is an excellent pub with excellent food, will definitely be returning!

Farmhouse Pizza
11 Farncombe St, Farncombe, GodalmingI had such a pleasant experience today at Farmhouse Pizzeria, I went into the shop to place an order for two pizzas and some curly fries. The gentleman working there was so kind and welcoming — he even offered me a great meal deal and made sure everything was perfect.
The shop itself is lovely, and the pizza is absolutely worth every penny. My waiting time was only about 15 minutes, which is super quick, and everything was fresh and delicious.
Definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area! I’ll be back for sure

The inside is lovely too with open fire in the colder months. Great for lunch after a good walk. The food is pub food done well. The best options for me are the fish & chips with homemade mushy peas & tartar sauce. Katsu chicken burger and the steak sandwich. Decent beer. Wish I was a local.

I asked a couple of weeks back if they could do a pie for six and the result (very generous steak and ale with masses of veg and mash and a few cheeky chips) was stupendous. And a fine pint of Shere Drop. We had the side room which was very comfortable for gentlemen of a certain age and a few dogs.

There was also a fantastic variety of sandwiches, each one made with fresh ingredients and packed with flavour. You could tell a lot of thought went into the selection and preparation. My personal favourite was the Greek salad – fresh, vibrant, and perfectly dressed. It really stood out!
Daisy doesn’t just stop at event catering – their daily lunch salads are equally amazing. They consistently offer fresh, healthy, and creative options that make lunchtime something to look forward to.

I'd recommend this place if your looking for some good food at a very reasonable price . The staff are really friendly and helpful also very generous when it comes to pots of sauce (big up murt ) . Just a heads up its cash only so be prepared when visiting also theres a cash machine right around the corner 20 seconds away if your lacking .

From the moment we walked in, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and extremely efficient.\n\nThe food was lovely! my daughter ordered the veggie breakfast, which she thoroughly enjoyed, and I had the soup of the day, which was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and was beautifully presented.\n\nI was particularly impressed with the gentleman who served us; his manner was so kind and professional that I actually waited while he stepped outside to put a bin out, just so I could personally thank him and give him a well-deserved tip.\n\nOverall, it was such a lovely experience, and as I said to the waiter before leaving — we’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

91 High St, GodalmingStaff at the café today, in Godalming Caffè Nero (4th December, 4pm) were extremely friendly and accommodating. Could not praise them more for their great efforts; I was struggling with my newborn, trying to feed, etc, and they were so helpful trying to sort me out too!
Noemi is great as always but in particular Dom who despite serving other customers, would check up on us in between serving to ensure we were ok.

Kid-friendliness: There are baby changing facilities and various areas to feed baby or bring kids to meet with friends and family. Staff always very accommodating, offering to refill the baby bottles!
