The people that run the kebab shop are really nice and I’d say as far as the shish kebab goes it is one of the best I’ve had in a long while, the chips are ok best eaten fresh but the shish is so flavourful, tender, perfectly cooked. I never feel heavy or sick after eating which can happen with some kebab places. So highly recommend

I recently visited Thai Pinto, located on the High Street in Leatherhead, and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was inviting — relaxed, warm, and authentically styled without being over the top.

We started with the Prawn Tempura (£8.50), which was light, crispy, and perfectly cooked.

The batter wasn’t greasy, and the prawns were fresh — a great opener to the meal. For the main course, I chose the Goong Priew Wahn (£14.50), a classic sweet and sour dish with prawns.
It was well-balanced, not overly sweet, and the sauce was rich and flavorful.
Paired with a side of Khao Soway (steamed rice, £3.95), it made for a hearty and satisfying meal.

To accompany the food, we had two bottles of Chang (£9.90 total) and a Pint of Singha (£6.95). Both beers were chilled perfectly and complemented the Thai flavors excellently.

After the meal, a Hazelnut Coffee (£7.00) was the perfect ending — aromatic, smooth, and just the right strength.

The overall bill came to £55.90, which included a £5.10 service charge.
Considering the quality of the food, drink, and service, I found it to be good value for money.

Service: The staff were friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and clearly cared about the guests having a good experience.

Overall Verdict:
Thai Pinto offers authentic, flavorful Thai food in a welcoming environment with great service.
Perfect for a casual dinner with friends or a relaxed date night. I’ll definitely be returning!

So fresh and yummy!!!
I have tried their spicy chicken burger, chicken and fries today. Honestly all tasted so good and fresh even the smell OMG .Far better than KFC. I always have been eating KFC because of the name. Today I realised i was missing too much eating in KFC. Even their peri peri fries. No words to describe.
Very friendly service and large portions for a very reasonable price.
I will be their regular from today.

I am a local resident to the village and have been using this pub for years, but in the last couple of years it seems have gone downhill, with the decor, music and food so I have not gone much. \nThe pub I believe has been recently taken over and wow what a difference. We went as a group of 4 adults and sat in the restaurant area. The waitresses we had, especially Imogen, were lovely, attentive and very knowledgable . I have an allergy to gluten and the waitress knew what foods off the top of her head I could eat and there were many to choose from, burgers, fish and chips, shepherds pie etc. The food is now now reasonably priced and the menu has a good choice. We had a few starters to share, pardon peppers, sausages and chicken wings these were all very lovely. I had the shepherds pie, wow how tasty and filling it was. You look a the portion size and think that is quite small but when you start to eat it, it isn't, I couldn't finish it all. \nThey have smartened up the decor a bit more now, the stale smell has gone from the pub and awful rock music that played very loudly above you has also been removed. After starters, 4 mains a couple of bottles of wine and beers I personally didn't think the bill total of £171 was a bad price. This pub is always expensive just for drinks but that is what I presume the brewery Youngs set. \nOverall a very lovely meal and evening and we will be returning soon.

The Dining Room - Japanese Grill

We recently had lunch at the Japanese grill and the service and food was top notch. We order the sashimi and popcorn shrimp for starters which was amazing. For mains we ordered the cod which was beautiful and cooked to perfection.

The staff were very kind and attentive which was great especially since we were there with young children. The staff went over and beyond to make us feel at ease and also taiored a few dishes based on our request for our young children. Not once were we made to feel rushed even though the restaurant was busy.

Our family really enjoyed our afternoon at Beaverbrook. The scenic views from the resturant are breath taking.

We would definitely recommend the restuarant for a lovely meal.

I take my boys here for their fave take away treat and this place is amazing. It's a little hidden village gem we discovered when we moved to the area. My sons love the curry sauce here, it's the absolute best, so be sure to grab it when you can. Freshly cooked and very hot
we've had many delicious dishes here. We enjoy the fish and chips and the Peking and Thai food food on offer is amazing. People thst moan about menu size need to get a grip. There is plenty on offer and the staff super friendly and helpful. Service is always quick, helpful and very professional. You can see why this lady gets very busy it's brilliant they are very helpful and accommodate if your unsure of a item or need something removed ingredient wise such as bean sprouts or level Of spice. We've had all sorts of dishes here. The egg fried rice, chow mein noodles without beansprouts if you have a picky eater, it's no bother they can help and remove things it's lovely, fresh decent food. We absolutely love this takeaway. Very friendly, very fresh and very delicious. I will always recommend here.

They are even open for a lunch time option during the week on a Thursday? But always double Check on Google or in their window sign to make sure. You should definitely visit here they are amazing.

Been wanting to try the fish and chips for a long time so my friend and I got a delivery for our lunch. We ordered a 1/2 pounder large cod and chips we also wanted to call about a few things so we did and the lady was really helpful. The fish was so fresh and the batter was lovely not at all greasy the chips were great and the burger tasted lovely. We will definitely be ordering from here again. The only thing I’d add as an extra on the menu is cheddar cheese to go with the burger as that would make the burger even better

Counter is nicely presented and service from the staff was on point, area around the counter and the outside seating both feel a bit small though. I had a fresh Corona Extra, cleanliness was up to standard and water refillable machine efficient.
