Dorking Rd, TadworthWe planned a surprise birthday for my amazing mother in law, she lives local to the area, but we do not, so we embraced the help and support from Julie (landlady) to help plan and also invite local friends to join us, Julie went above and beyond, supporting our idea, and some how keeping in a secret from my detective mother in law, the service was 5* and the buffet that Julie had free rein on was simply amazing, I don’t think there was any left! And many of us still talk about it now. And a small thank you to the barmaid V, how made the best baby guiness! Sadly I took very few photos, but I will try to source some. Due to family all travelling from different locations we were also able to reserve rooms, and the feed back I have received was they all sleep so comfortably, and the breakfast was just perfect and well needed! Thank you once again Julie and Team. You all did yourself proud.

Walton Spice
22 Walton St, Walton on the Hill, TadworthBest food in the village!! By a long shot! Amazingly clean, everywhere. Toilets included. Proper indian food, generous portions. It should be supported and visited more. Much healthier, friendlier, and cleaner than other alternatives. Main, side and rice lasted me most of the week. A few steps away, can pick up alcohol at the coop. Will definitely come back.

Chequers Ln, Walton on the Hill, TadworthGreat pub, we enjoyed a delicious Easter weekend lunch, took part in the Easter egg hunt and the kids LOVED the bubbles. I would recommend a visit. Welcoming service from Chloe, she was really friendly. Fantastic family friendly events throughout the month and dog friendly.

The food is always perfectly cooked the value for money is excellent food quality is really good, not cheap like most cafes. the staff are always friendly. I don’t do reviews but had to put one for the best cafe in Surrey

The staff are always so friendly and pay good attention to allergy’s. When our food was delayed for pick up the gave us free cracker and were very apologetic. I highly recommend and absolutely love ordering from there. ?❤️

In the UK most decent pubs are dog friendly, historically it’s part of the culture to be. On entrance with a dog you need to make sure that you enter through the correct door. The front door that is on the right side.
Toilets are small and need updating as pink paint is flaking off the tiles.
Friendly locals/ staff.

6 The Parade, Burgh Heath, TadworthStayed in the premier inn about 3 mins walk away. Used google maps to find this place and I have to say the food was A1. I’m super fussy with food and I’d happily eat from here again. In fact I’m that impressed and Ive left a review. I’ve never left a review on anything. A++++.

The food was incredible (special mention to the Pizz-asta that I had, an inspired creation), we were given sufficient time between courses that nothing felt rushed, the drinks were excellent, the Clarified Negroni is a truly delicious take on a favourite of mine & Ray Lowe, the singer that provided the entertainment was second to none, great renditions of some of the Rat Pack's greatest hits.
Overall, I cannot recommend this highly enough, go, I urge you!

From organising to hosting on the day, Colin and his team were incredible - they organised an awesome DJ who kept the crowd dancing and the food (Tikka platters) was a perfect mix of hot food - all our guests raved about the dinner!

Poppadoms were a little stale.
Irish coffees were very nice.
The food was excellent.
The guy serving us came across rude and not very welcoming which put us off a little. As we was leaving no door open or goodbye or thank you. Maybe he was shy or not good with people. But it's off putting. As the food was very nice we won't be put off but if it happens again we won't come back again.
If the poppadoms weren't stale differently would of rated a 5.

The Sportsman
Mogador Road, Mogador Rd, Mogador, TadworthSix of us came for Sunday lunch and all had the roast. Absolutely superb. The beef was just delicious, so tender!
The service was great, very attentive staff.
They even gave my daughter a glass of Prosecco as it was her birthday, such a lovely touch.
So lovely to see this pub buzzing again!
