29-31 Ferry Rd, Shoreham-by-SeaThe level of presentation, flavours and selection are beyond what we imagined, from starter to main course and dessert. A modest and gently decorated seaside restaurant, the staff are genuinely welcoming and the open kitchen with two busy chefs is on full view of diners. I’ve always said that it’s harder to make a simple dish than it is a complicated one, and the steamed mussels we shared to start perfectly showcase that sentiment. The bouillabaisse is a showstopper and the lobster with tempura prawns & garnish is so delicately seasoned - this hidden gem is an absolute must for seafood lovers. It’s a firm favourite for us!

Usually order from this place in person and haven't had an issue before. No complaints from my bro as he's already gotten through his meal as it entered the door.

16-18 East St, Shoreham-by-SeaWe had originally booked for Sunday lunch in Brighton for 1.30( big mistake as the London Brighton cycle ride was on- took us over an hour for what should have been a 15 min journey to get within 20 mins of our intended restaurant )( big thumbs up to The House Restaurant for being so patient and understanding when we took the decision to cancel the booking and head out of Brighton asap)\nEventually we arrived at the tap house 1 and 3/4 hours after leaving base. Emmy( I think ) was so welcoming and is a natural in the hospitality trade. We both had striploin of beef with Yorkies, roasted carrot, cabbage, sweet red cabbage, butternut squash puree, broccoli,roasties and a lovely gravy. All were delicious and the big bonus is they offer half portions for the lighter appetite.\nThoroughly enjoyable Sunday afternoon - Eventually !

22 East St, Shoreham-by-SeaWe had the great pleasure to have lunch here to celebrate my birthday. With our married children and their kids we were 16 aged from 6 to let's just say over 70! The service was excellent and could not have been more family friendly. The food was delicious and the wine cold crisp and lovely. This is the perfect setting for a family gathering and we will certainly be back.

Order 2 x haddock & chips - absolutely delicious ? - beautifully cooked, light crispy and the nicest haddock I've ever eaten. Highly recommend ?

Not really authentic, but tasty. Catered for a British taste and using local veg instead.

Tosca Pizza Bar and Grill
39 High St, Shoreham-by-SeaAnother brilliant family memory. 11 of us sat down for an 80th, birthday meal, service was as expected nothing was too much . All the food arrived promptly and was delicious, We sat in the balcony and it was greatly appreciated by family and friends as such a perfect place to sit.\nWe ordered a birthday cake from the coffee shop and it was amazing and fantastic value.

The Bridge, Shoreham
87 High St, Shoreham-by-SeaWe celebrated the Civil Partnership of some very special friends. An amazing night at The Bridge. Stuart and his team went above and beyond. A group of us arrived early to decorate the ‘outdoor in’ marquee - Stuart had power washed the ground in prep and was on hand helping us hang our decorations and support in any way. A beautiful venue…the prosecco flowed, the buffet was delicious (congrats to the chef) and the views were to die for. Such a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend for a celebration of any kind…a drink, meal or even one of their mouth-watering roasts on a Sunday. See pic of the decorating team having a well- deserved glass of fizz awaiting the arrival of the guests of honour ?. Melt in the mouth cup cakes made by the gorgeous Emma.
Well done Bridge team - you did yourselves proud.

Busy - as always ?
The staff were so lovely (again, as always). They guided us to a suitable table, were patient, helpful and so friendly-happy to chat and make friends with our very chatty 5 yo granddaughter.
The amazing cakes taunted us but we resisted this time - it was very tough!! Next time ??

Garlic Tikka and the Lamb Curry was perfectly flavoured & spiced to my the heat that I would expect. Really good friendly service & great value for money. Will be using again. Extra Poppadoms went down well also??

Amsterdam Inn Shoreham
467-471 Upper Shoreham Rd, Shoreham-by-SeaThe Inn is now part of the Heritage Pub group. An attractive discount of 50% was sufficient to attract us for a small family meal. The main meals are standard pub classics. The starters were imaginative and deserve credit for presentation and creativity. We chose the Lamb Kofta. An excellent choice. \nWe sampled three main courses that included Hunters Chicken, Gammon Steak and Fish & Chips. The meal presentation was good, and portion sizes were generous. Service was efficient and it surpassed our expectations. Well worth a visit. The app is worth downloading so as not to miss offers.

We regularly see two dark haired guys that check if everything's ok & clear the tables on a Monday early evening & their customer service is excellent
