Graze Tapas Wine Bar

Stumbled across this place quite late on a week night and they accommodated us for a tasty selection of plates, affogato and wine - surprisingly nice with welcoming staff!

Flounders

After a mad dash of trying to find somewhere to get takeaway as was 8.15 at night, we came across this lovely place. Staff were so friendly and even though they wanted to close, cooking some fresh fish and chicken strips was not a problem. Food was lovely, and would highly recommend

Butchers Bistro

This is a wonderful place to eat. The food, service and ambience was all fantastic. The food, in particular, was top notch. In fact, my husband and I ate at the 'Fish House' at Fistral Bay (which is a Michelin star restaurant) the night before and in our opinion the food and service is far superior at Butchers Bistro. Don't miss if you are ever in Newquay. Would advise a reservation be made too in advance.

Lost Brewing Co. Cafe & Craft Beer Bar

Only came for drinks but really enjoyed their selection of craft beers (mostly their own brewery). Relaxed vibes, super friendly staff and great place to chill with a pint or 3!

Box & Barber

I have been a repeat customer since the cafe opened and for years i had only eaten their açai bowls (which are soo tasty!!!), but today i decided to try their other food. While we shared both the pancakes and burrito, we definitely had a favourite. The BOX burrito was incredible and was made even better with a drizzle of sriracha. Will definitely be coming many times this summer! \n\nOne teensy thing - tables could be cleaned a little more regularly x

Cafe Cloud

This is a must go to place!!! Absolutely scummy food and fully knowledgeable and cater for gluten free and vegan! The staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful and the food is amazing!! Dont hesitate to visit!
We had jacket potato and vegan cheese, gluten free vegan waffles and vegan cream tea which was gluten free. The coffee is also soon good!

Small quality menu. Great toppings, a crunchy dough, and friendly staff.
Pizza prices are fair, and the atmosphere is so nice and calm.
It's dog friendly and you can really enjoy your time there.

Victoria Restaurant & Cocktail Bar

Short staffed as they had decided to open even though they would normally be closed on a Monday. The waiter was very helpful and courteous. It was quiet when we sat down and gradually got busier. The food was delicious and we have booked for another meal later in the week. Highly recommended.
On our second visit, the same staff were on duty. The food was just as delicious. The service was wonderful and we have nothing but compliments for this restaurant. If in Newquay, definitely a place to go and eat.

Ash was having his first night on the job and was very attentive to us. Other than the meals being a bit slow, everything was good. Good job Ash, and we are sure you will be successful in your job ??

Treffry Tavern Table Table

After a long 12-hour drive, we stumbled into Treffry Tavern from our hotel, exhausted—but Dean completely turned our night around. His energy, friendliness, and great service were exactly what we needed. He made us feel welcome and brought a great vibe to our evening. Highly recommend stopping by, and if you’re lucky, Dean will be the one serving you!

Steam Bar at the Great Western Hotel

Me and my friend came with a breakfast and I brought my dog as it’s dog friendly. We sat by the window over looking the sea and enjoyed one of the best full English breakfasts I’ve ever had. The service was great and friendly. I would definitely recommend

The Tartan Fox by Adam Handling Newquay

Having visited the Ugly Butterfly in Carbis Bay (now moved to Newquay) my wife and I thought we'd give the Tartan Fox a visit, we weren't disappointed the food was fantastic and staff very friendly and welcoming.

Brilliant cafe, called today after a stroll on the beach, myself, my daughter, 2 yr old grandson and dave
The jack russell. Couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming the food was beyond excellent and the drinks the same. Would definitely go again and would recommend to anyone.

Zaman's restaurant

We often go here and wont go anywhere else as soon as you walk in you feel comfortable and welcomed by the amazing staff
The food is always delicious and never had an issue us as a family always get a variety of meals and starters and we all very much enjoy it every time

Feather Restaurant and Cocktail Bar

We live in Newquay so didn’t stay but we have just enjoyed a Sunday roast dinner at the hotel. Hands down one of the best in town and made even more great by the amazing team working who were so super friendly and attentive. A wonderful afternoon of great food! We’ll be back and definitely for breakfast too - the menu looks great and so reasonable! They also do a coffee + cake for £5 which I don’t think you’ll find anywhere in town! And there is a 10% locals discount on an already reasonable menu!

The Living Space

What a superb spot for a day out. Located right near the beach. Open spacious restaurant with wonderful views of the beach and ocean. Food delicious, staff helpful, friendly, service orientated. A must if you have visitors or looking to do something different.

Pizza Express

First time i have been to Pizza Express in over 20years living in Newquay.\nI went there on a quiet evening to catch up with some friends. We were looked after all evening by Ken, who was very friendly and chatty. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he truly went above and beyond to make our reunion special. \nI have very picky friends when it comes to food, Ken was very patient and attentive. He recommended food items based upon their preferences and/or dietary requirements.\nFood arrived in a timely manner and was piping hot. From starters to mains then desserts, everything was delicious.\nWe all left with a big smile on our faces.\nWe will definitely be back!!

IncaMar Pizzeria

Called in to IncaMar Pizzeria Newquay not long after it had opened for evening service. Was greeted by friendly staff and shown to a table right by the balcony and the views were amazing. A good selection of food and drink to be had and my order was taken quickly. No issues with the service or food as everything was perfect on my visit. My only gripe is that a different music station be put on as whatever was playing didn’t seem appropriate for an Italian restaurant! Apart from that I was very happy and will definitely recommend IncaMar Pizzeria.

Walkabout

The drinks were flowing, the atmosphere was banging, and the server was amazing. We were personally served by a member named Jack, and his service was not only memorable but it was legendary. This was my first bottomless brunch and if I get the change I would love to come back.

Catch Seafood, Bar & Grill

Lovely night out at the catch. Great atmosphere and excellent service. Lovely food too!

Vegetarian options: Good veggie options, loved the veggie fish and chips. The batter was excellent, not too greasy.

The Fistral Stable

Came here for dinner. Hadnt booked so there was a wait, but sat near the bar while we waited. Good service and nice pizza

Zacry's Restaurant

After a recent move from the main hotel building, Zacry’s now occupies the space vacated by Emily Scott’s restaurant (and formally ‘Watchful Mary’). It’s a stunning venue literally on the sea shore- with diners feeling as if they are almost hovering above the surf. Amazing in winter and I would imagine summer sunsets will add another memorable layer to this experience. The open kitchen ensures that the hard work and attention to detail of the chef’s team are on display. Interesting without being noisy or intrusive. We started with Smoky Beet cocktails which were sensational. Highly recommend! The food and service were impeccable. We loved the charred leeks and the scallop starters. Would also recommend the Lions Mane, Newlyn Hake and Cornish pork chop from the menu we had. Desserts were also great - we chose the panna cotta which was light, flavourful and delicious and the Cornish fairings. Great! The service was friendly and attentive and made for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We will return!

Sailors Newquay

Lovely pub right on perranporth beach. Had an excellent roast dinner, plenty of fresh veg and hot. Service was really good as it was very busy. Definitely go again.

Silks Bistro & Champagne Bar

I didn’t eat here, I came for a live music event, the drink I had was nice and the girl at the bar was smiley and friendly. The music was not my thing or many others, the place emptied pretty fast. Sad really it’s a pretty place. Perhaps French indie music is a little niche.

The Beach Hut

Fantastic pit stop at Watergate Bay

We stopped at The Beach Hut for hot chocolate after a morning walk on Watergate Bay, where we’re staying. We sat outside in the corner and it was incredibly relaxing—even with our energetic 8-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter in tow!

We enjoyed our drinks for about 45 minutes and, as our glasses were cleared, one of the team, Nathan, came over for a chat. He was brilliant—friendly, local to Newquay, and happy to answer my wife’s many questions about places to visit. He even showed us photos and gave great tips.

Lovely spot, great service, and a perfect quick pit stop. Highly recommended

Indian Summer

I've visited this excellent restaurant many times over the years and I'm really looking forward to more visits when I come down to Newquay from Manchester in a few weeks time.\n\nThe food and service is without doubt the best in Newquay and whilst there are no views from the restaurant the atmosphere is very relaxed.\n\nVery highly recommended.

Cave

Called here in July with 5 other family members. We booked darts and the golf simulator, the simulator is upstairs.
The staff members were very friendly and fab fun. We had an hour playing darts, which was a real good laugh, a few drinks, which are very reasonable, we had 2 for 1 on cocktails whilst we were there, I haven't rated food as we never ate there. The golf simulator is another brill addition, even if your a novice or a scratch golfer, its good fun and of course very competitive.
On the day, it was my nieces birthday, so the manager gave us half hour on the shuffle board table, which was a lovely gesture.
Thanks to all the staff and management for a fun time.
Will defo be calling back again.

We visited this bar based on the Google reviews and it didn't disappoint. The drinks were amazing. Classy , tasty and full of flavour . The staff were so friendly and welcoming . My only disappointment is we didn't come earlier in the night as I would have spent it all here . Top marks from a seasoned cocktail drinker .

Fort Inn

Together with a family of friends, we visited the Fort Inn on a rainy Saturday. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we were unable to sit on the splendid terrace with its magnificent view over the sea. However, the atmosphere indoors was also very pleasant and inviting. The Fort Inn is tastefully furnished and offers a charming blend between a traditional pub and a restaurant. Our food arrived promptly, and everyone—including the children—was thoroughly satisfied. Afterwards, we were able to watch some football while relaxing on a leather sofa. The clientele was varied, the service staff were exceptionally friendly and relaxed, and the overall atmosphere was the kind one often wishes for in places back home.

THE BAY CAFE

We fancied an ice cream after having food so popped into this place.. ice cream was so nice, so was the service. The lady who served us was a genuine, nice lady. She was so nice to my 5 year old. We sat upstairs which was a nice surprise. There was so much for the kids to do, they had chalk and a chalk board, some colours and Cute little baskets on the tables to entertain the kids.. overall a lovely place.Kid-friendliness: Lovely little place for the kids to enjoy their ice cream (even better for the adults to enjoy their ice cream as the kids are occupied)

Atlantic View Cafe

A lovely little cafe with exactly what you want – great coffee, tasty food that’s really good value, and genuinely friendly staff. The view lives up to the name as well; you could happily sit there for ages just taking it in. Perfect for people watching.

Woody's Bar

Aways had a great meal and the service is very good Atmosphere could let it down a little and there is a sealed window that needs replacing but still a great place to go and enjoy a meal

Paulines Creamery

Oh My words what a lovely tea/coffee shop. The staff are incredible and as for the cakes, they are to die for. For a great eating experience visit Pauline's Bakery. Absolutely fabulous.

Truscotts Fish Bar

Nice sea side food. We had small fish and chips. We expected a small fish, it was! But expected a normal chips. My son had sausage and chips and got loads more chips. Not cheap but would go back.

The Maharajah

The food was good, the chicken tikka massala was very nice. The peshwari naan had fennel in it which was a nice addition to the norm. It was good value, we had the seat in the middle of the window so was great views and very relaxing. Service was pretty quick. The menu selection is still a bit 10-15 years ago, over the last few years we have been to a number of Indians with newer and more imaginative dishes that wow, this feels a bit ordinary but still enjoyable. The restaurant itself could be a bit cleaner, there were some marks on some chairs, some rice on the window sill (since we were there at opening time I assume from the night before) and while the main window panes were clean the top lights above the main panes have clearly not been cleaned in some time. I did use the toilet while there and that was clean.

McDonald's

3 stars for atmosphere but what atmosphere does one expect from a Mc Donald's?
I would advise checking your order before you drive away as they have got it wrong on more occasions than I'm happy with.
Oh and the milkshakes are only available half the time, otherwise a pretty standard Maccies.

The Baker's Dozen

What a lovely little find.
We stopped here on our way home but I wish we'd found it earlier. The bread was super soft, the scones were PERFECT and the cup of tea was lovely, it was proper tea leaves, not something we're used too.
We even bought cookies to take home which were scrumptious.

Sea Spray Fistral

popped in for brunch today with my family. First time I have been and will definitely be back. The staff were super friendly and food was delicious! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Fish House Fistral

A perfect dining experience for our family of four. We had a table booked for 20:30 with our 8- and 7-year-olds. My wife was craving seafood, and this place did not disappoint. The children shared an adult main, which the staff kindly plated separately for them. We started with the mussels, and I have to admit they were some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The food throughout was absolutely delicious.

The staff were attentive and looked after our needs perfectly. I would highly recommend this place. To top it all off, we enjoyed a beautiful pink sunset that rounded off the evening perfectly.

Rosa

Love this place! The sunday roast is a must! The service is spot on with a friendly team and a great atmosphere! The lasagna and black garlic mayo is to die for and honestly one of the best roast dinners I have ever had! They have mini golf on site which is 18 holes and great for a chilled sunday day date. Their wine is delightful - the restaurant is quite small so for the winter months I would book as I can imagine it gets very busy! In the summer or if you want to brave the cold there is plenty of outdoor seating! The manager there is top tier and very attentive helpful and friendly! Love this spot and cannot wait to return!

Malcolm Barnecutt Bakery Newquay

Everyone reviews the pasties here but I’d like to mention the amazing and reasonably priced cakes and bread. I bought three iced Chelsea buns for £1.65 each and they were huge, with plump, juicy sultanas, soft, light and very tasty. They came in a lovely cardboard presentation box so felt very posh! I also got a pack of 4 white bread rolls which were also delicious and soft.

Fore Street Cafe Bar

The ladies in front of house were very polite, friendly and professional. Coffee was lovely, the coffee ice cubes were also a nice touch. As for the food, came out quickly and was amazing. I highly recommend the bacon pancakes, was even impressed with the presentation before I made it disappear.

Smugglers Den Inn

Went for evening meal whilst down here camping. What can I say excellent from start to finish. Our waitress was knowledgeable and very efficient. Food was stunning and tasted sublime. Would definitely recommend visiting here.

The Farmers Arms

If you want quality food without the price tag.
We had pie of the day and a mixed grill which on a Saturday is just £16.50. Well cooked, very well presented and great tasting. Can’t ask for more than that. Would deffo come again

The Cornishman, Crantock

Dog friendly pub with great staff and excellent food. We had the 'Cornishman Burger'- the picture doesn't do the double Wagu burger and giant onion rings justice. Decent Ale at £4.50 a pint. Highly recommend ???

NALU Coffee House

This beautiful gem makes you fall in love with it. Tucked away on Cliff road this cafe is has everything to love about. Despite being small inside, it has beautiful character and warmth. Outside seating is also available. Delightful menu, quick service and polite customer service with good music and good atmosphere. It is definitely on my to go back list. Highly recommend

Only been for drinks but lovely garden with fab views over towan and GW beaches, decent drink selection (including from lost brewing Co) perfect place to surf watch and chill

The Two Clomes

Lunch was fabulous, the Moules as a starter and the pork for main, both highly recommended.

Lovely staff, friendly and attentive, and Albert the dog gave us a lovely greeting and loved cuddles while we waited.

The Village Chip Shop

Always use this amazing fish and chip shop when in Cornwall,
worth travelling a few extra miles to eat their delicious fish and chips. Staff are always friendly, polite and professional.

Amazing experience food was amazing and Lilith our waitress was amazing from the get go. She was brilliant with my 7 year old giving him paper and pens to colour. And was extremely helpful and pleasant throughout. Thankyou

Just love this place! From the food to the yoga! Chloe is an awesome lovely yoga teacher, always positive and upbeat. And Jimmy you make the best raw pad tai ever, being a raw vegan myself it’s just so nice I can actually go out somewhere to eat and actually love the food! Keep up the good vibes ❤️

Absolutely beautiful was sceptical at first to try it, I love Thai food but what a great place to eat. Thai green curry and those starter fish cakes. Amazing will definitely return. :) when I’m next up from wales I’m defo coming back

Service and atmosphere is great! It's now my go to pit stop on morning walks! I've got to be careful as I would eat 10 apricot croissants a visit if I could but have to survive on 1 a week, they are amazing!

I arrived at Newquay too early after 8-hour journey on the overnight coach. The weather was chilly and windy so I was looking for any place that’d open early in the morning and this cozy place literally saved my life ? The owner was very friendly and the flat white was great. I saw a lot of locals drop by for a quick morning coffee. A lovely cozy local place :)

The Harbour Chippy

My lad and misses love this place food is spot on e erytime we been and we payed cash and had the people take our order as was warm and I was struggling with the placing your own order and every time we been there is a big que but that's coz its so good its worth waiting for and the que dose go down fast this is just our experience there and not one bad word to say

El Huichol / Pachanga - Mexican Streetfood

Holy shmokes, eat at this place. What a find! The most delicious Mexican food. The best meal we have had in a long time! Something different, fresh, great staff and just absolutely delicious. Our only complaint is it was too more-ish, we couldn’t stop ordering more! Definitely worth popping a tip jar on the bar :)

Popped in for a pasty. Said one we had in St ives was horrible. Staff said let them know if we didn't like them. Steak pasty and chicken pasty lovely pastry perfect. Had a cinnamon bun gorgeous would recommend

It's a spoons in Newquay. I occasionally pop in even in the hight of tourist season but I'm usually happy with the lack of panic. The staff are doing a top job. ?

Has pretty much everything you could possibly need. A good selection of special dietary goods (vegan, gf etc) and cornish produce too. I've always found that the staff are cheerful & happy to help.
This is my go to 'nip to the shop' shop!

Birthday lunch was made 5 star by the service and atmosphere!
We went for a birthday meal, for 10 people. We arrived early but this was not a problem and we were not rushed to leave, even after the whole staff sang happy birthday.
The food was great, definitely recommend the tostadas, and the restaurant was very clean!
Shame the weather wasn't great, to be able to sit out in the gorgeous outdoor space and enjoy the view, but we'll be going back!
Thank you very much to all the staff that made this a wonderful meal!

Blue Fish Bar

A chippy that's not 5 star but not 3 star either...so 4 star! The fish was nice (lovely batter) but was quite a thin fillet compared to many I've had. A lot of chips were good, but there were also quite a few burnt with black bits etc and the portion size wasn't the biggest. Nice mushy peas and curry sauce, but the pot was only 2/3's full. Enjoyed what we had, but sad the cost of what used to be a cheap meal by the sea has rocketed (but not unique to this chip shop).

Tai Sing Take Away

Nice local Chinese. Food was delicious. Delivery available to nearby holiday parks which is perfect as Just eat doesn't include a Chinese food option. Highly recommend.
