Broughton Information Centre
1 The Square, Broughton-in-FurnessLovely visit today. Jill was on her 1st ever voluntary shift. She was great to talk to and very helpful. She directed us to a beautiful walk from Broughton Mills. Many thanks Jill. We had a wonderful afternoon.

The Crosby Cake Cupboard & Snack Shed
Crosbythwaite Farm, Broughton-in-FurnessPicked up a custard cream blondie from the snack shed on the way home from a lovely few days away. It tasted amazing and was big enough to get me through my 4 night shifts when back at work. Will definitely be returning if I’m in the area again ???

Blacksmiths Arms, Broughton Mills
Broughton-in-FurnessIncredible food, vegetarian and vegan options. Dog-friendly, good beers (limited number of beers but what was there was very good). Clearly a historic pub and retains all those old features. Car park and small beer garden available.

Broughton Village Bakery
Prince's St, Broughton-in-FurnessI feel silly giving 4 stars for the food because it was excellent! The quiches and custard tart couldn't have been better. But, as it's a bakery, I was hoping for a baked cake - a Belgian bun, cinnamon bun, almond croissant - something along those lines. There was a wide selection of tray bakes, but the choc flapjack was disappointing.
Service was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was cosy. Well worth a visit!
