Main St, TunstallA really lovely find on our holiday to the Carnforth area. Only 20 minutes away, the Lunesdale offered high quality food in a gorgeous setting with excellent service. Can't fault it. And as the only vegan in our family party for a Sunday lunch, I was well catered for without fuss or bother. A wonderful family meal out to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Highly recommend.

9 Market St, Kirkby Lonsdale, CarnforthWe just stumbled across this little gem of a place driving home one day , it's in a great little town centre in the dales area of West Yorkshire I think , not from around the area . Food was super delicious , bottle of wine and well looked after, place is small but really cosy atmosphere kinda place with little woodburner in corner highly recommend.
We had just turned up forgetting it was valentines wkend totally not dressed for the occasion either after travelling to Birmingham n back home to durham

The crossing point cafe

Plato's, Bar, Restaurant with Rooms
2 Mill Brow, Kirkby Lonsdale, CarnforthWent into Platos last night with my other half and the two kids, can’t recommend this place enough. Inside is very nice and outside is stunning as well. All the food we had was amazing, the kitchen staff are great and I want to give a massive shout out to our server Ben who absolutely made our night, made us feel very welcome. 10/10

The Red Dragon
Main St, Kirkby Lonsdale, CarnforthStayed for one night. The room was lovely, very comfortable bed, great choice of drinks, and some delicious shortbread biscuits. Breakfast next day was very nice, and the lady serving breakfast was very friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend this hotel when visiting Kirkby Lonsdale

Pub was very quiet when we called on a Thursday afternoon. Would like to call back sometime for a meal.

Bar Avanti, 57 Main St, Kirkby Lonsdale, CarnforthGreat food. Staying nearby and wandered in. What great food. The Vegetarian Tart is fantastic! The mushroom bruschetta perfect! The burger was fantastic too! Something for everyone. And all done great. The outdoor seating area was quiet and very relaxing.

The Snooty Fox

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly and the chef was more than happy to accommodate our dietary requirements. Apparently the pub is under new ownership with a new chef who makes everything from scratch himself. The food was delicious and service excellent. Our little dog was spoiled rotten with a lovely bowl of roast beef!!! The price wasn’t bad either. We would definitely visit again.

Lunesdale Bakery
50 Main St, Kirkby Lonsdale, CarnforthOn our recent visit to Kirkby Lonsdale we discovered this little gem of a bakery.... The bakery was amazing and we ate in in the dog friendly cafe at the back. I would recommend the cauliflower and mushroom soup and my partner had the Welsh rarebit which was so tasty. We bought some cakes to take home and everything we ate was incredibly tasty.

Jingling Ln, Kirkby Lonsdale, CarnforthLove this place, it has never let me down. Perfect takeaway, reasonable prices, and lovely staff. The lad on the counter was very kind. It can get busy and parking is slightly difficult but that's not the chippy's fault. Will definitely become a regular place I go to
