Chapel St, Georgeham, BrauntonBooked a table for Sunday lunch here and we were thoroughly impressed by the quality of food, and the friendly attentive staff. We had requested a highchair and space got a pram, both requests catered for ahead of our arrival rather than when we got there as an afterthought. The beef Sunday roast was particularly good! Good range of drinks on draught, and we'll definitely be back.

1 Exeter Rd, BrauntonBest fish and chips shop I have been to, I think for me this beats krispies now. The food was amazing, service was top tier with very friendly and attentive staff. I can see why it was booked out and you need to book in advance, the takeway section is also busy to. They offer free top up chips which was fabtastic and thier milkshake were one of the best.

1 St Mary's Rd, Croyde, BrauntonI’ve just left New Coast Kitchen having returned for the second time since visiting near Croyde over a year ago - it continues to be one of the best restaurants I’ve had the pleasure to eat at. I’m just upset I don’t live nearby otherwise I’d be here more often!
The Crab Tortellini with Sriracha butter sauce is a dish I’ve thought about over the past year and coming back it was better than I remembered. All time favourite starter.
Had a delicious Pork Belly Main and The Hake tasted delicious. And the coffee cake dessert - wow, I’m not a dessert person usually but I had a feeling I’d enjoy this, and boy was I right!
Thanks again and I’ll be back!

A361, Braunton, BarnstapleWe were staying in Ilfracombe for the weekend and our hosts at the B&B recommended Heanton Court, as it was a Sunday and we were looking for somewhere to have a roast.\n\nWe booked in advance and were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and our meals were excellent. We both had the triple roast ( beef, pork belly and turkey) and couldn't fault them. One particularly pleasing touch was the large gravy boat served with each plate of food. \n\nI would suggest that you make sure you are hungry before you go, as the portion sizes are extremely generous!

Only complaint is for a first time visit we were disappointed by being put by the kitchen, lots of traffic and noisy from the kitchen..

Saunton Beach, BrauntonThis place could serve rubbish food and they’d still get flocks of people thanks to the location. Contrary to that the food is superb. Local seafood every day. Mussels were amazing, mackerel fantastic, monkfish succulent and moreish, the squid so fresh and flavourful. Did I order too much food? Yes. Do I regret it! No way. My one note, guys get some ciders and beers on tap!

North St, BrauntonJust wanted to say a big thank you to the landlady who kindly allowed me to borrow two wine glasses for the Indian Restaurant across the road who didn't have a single wine glass in their restaurant.
I only popped in for a few minutes but the staff seemed friendly, the atmosphere great and the locals at the bar welcoming. When I'm next in the area I'll definitely stop by for a drink.

North St, Brauntonthe food is in a different class now under the new management. the place is now called Surma - Tandoori Indian Restaurant.getting my lockdown take out fix every Friday. Brinjal Bhaji is the favourite - you can tell the chefs take their time with the prep and don't cut corners. if you like meat Tandoori Chicken on the bone is not to be missed.

Quality of food was up there albeit the chicken burger could have done with more flavour IMO. My partners pork dish looked unreal tbf. Well priced drinks and not stung in the slightest.
Overall pleasant experience and would recommend as up there with the best in Croyde for a family dinner.

Winsham Road, Knowle, BrauntonWe had come on holiday from Oxfordshire to woolacombe so on out last night we decided to go for a drive and find a local place to eat . We came across this place and we are so glad we did my husband and 1 with our 2 children were welcomed in sat down we had young lad called Karter serve us who was fantastic and polite and made sure our orders were all OK for us .
Food was beautiful the portions were very generous
My kids were no problem to the lovely gentleman there.
We also wanted to have pudding but we're very full at he time the manager let us take away our waffles in a little box which we thoroughly enjoyed.
If we are ever back that way we would be sure to visit again

Parking: The parking is located at Caen parking in the middle of Braunton if you head to the end of the car park near the chemist park there and the pub is on the one way road from the top exit on your left. A minute walk.
Free after 6pm too.

12 Hobb's Hill, Croyde, BrauntonSpent my stag weekend in Croyde (respectful, non traditional stag) which wouldn’t have been the same without this pub. Ive always come during the winter months but not in summer for a while. The investment and change is amazing, from the DJ set in the tipi (the picture shown was the start), to the cracking atmosphere from midday until close. As is with the best establishments, it’s the staff that really make it. Billy Budds being no exception. Not just good at their jobs, they seemed genuinely happy serving us, having a bit of banter, it really makes a nice vibe. Special thanks to Millie and Holly behind the bar, both a couple of legends. Kept the drinks coming, had a laugh with us. Whoever’s running the gaff, pay them more. 5 starts.

West Cross, 4 Caen St, BrauntonWow is all I can say. We're from Wales and always go to our local awesome Chinese, always aprencive of trying new.
The service was fast and super polite. We had chicken chow mein, the best I've had in such a long time. Thankyou ☺️
Chicken curry was also fab, full of chicken and the sauce was just the right amount of tasty/heat.
Chips, ok they're frozen but absolutely huge portion.
Dry spare ribs were ?. Only thing I'd say is to include a few slices of lemon.
Free prawn crackers.

Car Park, Down Ln, Croyde, BrauntonLiterally unreal! Came here multiple times during my stay in Croyde and the scran always hit the spot. The Sri Lankan curry was out of this world (vegan option!!!) especially with the gorgeous sea views. Their cheesy chips are perfection and their baguettes are lovely and crusty. Staff are lovely and able to explain all allergens well. They make it quick too, but you can tell it’s fresh. Highly recommend???

The Manor House Inn
39 St Mary's Rd, Croyde, BrauntonWe had 1 week holiday in a house 30 seconds away, and after having our first nights meal here we loved it. We then had 5 more nights of meals here (tried the specials and the normal menu items, and the kids had the kids menu food). This also coincided with a stag do and the meal was here.
All our meals were delicious, big but not too big, and the cocktails and drinks were all perfect.
Some people have mentioned price but honestly we never spent more than £100 for a family of 4 with desserts and more than 1 drink each etc. So (given that its Croyde, which is not going to be cheap) the pricing was spot on.
Highly recommended and would go again for sure. Staff also very friendly.

34 Church St, BrauntonWe were staying in the area ( which we have several times before) ...we were unable to get a table for Sunday lunch at our 'usual' pub so we tried The Black Horse.Challenging to park nearby ...but well worth the effort.The food here was absolutely stunning!
????? Hubby said the toast beef was superb and my nut roast was THE BEST I've ever had in all the 50 years of being a vegetarian! Then the lemon tart dessert was gorgeous ?
Oh , and all.the staff were friendly and helpful ?
