Had a great time in the ferry Inn. very warm and welcoming staff. The food was beautiful and well presented. Great drink offers and great atmosphere. we'll definitely be paying you another visit team ferry Inn!!! look forward to it!!!

Villa d’Este

Best restaurant in the area. Authentic Italian food, the taste is impeccable, and the general astmosphere with the stone features / exterior and decor feels as if you were in Italy.

Red Hawk

We found the Red Hawk completely by accident as we'd missed a road closure sign and pulled in to turn round. As it was dinner time we thought why not. The staff were great with our kids and our dog, I can honestly say this is the first place the staff made us feel welcome and like we do where we're from. The food was lovely and went down a treat

Fab fish and chips delivered to your door..
We loved them that much that we had a huge delivery for my hubbies 60th Birthday celebrations!

The Catch

My partner and I heard this place was good and we weren't disappointed. This was the best Haddock, chips and scraps we've ever eaten! The gravy was delicious too and all at a very reasonable price. Very friendly staff too. Don't miss this place. Its amazing!

53 Degrees North

I love the fish and chips from here. The fish is very fresh and cooked to order (the owner asks if you want fish when you go in), and the chips are fantastic. My wife's very fussy about the freshness of fish, and it always gets the thumbs-up from her.

I'm originally from the North West, and every time someone from back home comes to visit me in Brough, I treat them to a 53 Degrees North. Without exception, they've all remarked that it's the best fish and chips they've ever tasted. My brother-in-law is from the south coast, and he said the same.

If I could change one minor thing, I prefer Chinese style curry sauce. But there's a Chinese takeaway next door, so I just pop there while I'm waiting for my fish to fry.

Asham

Decided on a Monday night curry as the restaurant was just along the road from where I was staying.
As it was a Monday it wasn't too busy, which was good as it gives you the opportunity to chat to the staff.
The food was excellent, starter, mains, rice and nann bread.
Reasonable prices, good service and a tasty meal, what more could you ask for.

i-Bar

Came to Brough for a meeting, unfortunately that venue’s kitchen was closed for the day due to bereavement. Stumbled across the Ibar; small size and not a large menu, but varied and mid priced. Prompt friendly service, had the fish n chip platter, well presented, a bit heavy on the batter but overall tasty and reasonable value. Can’t understand some of the reviews….the waitress and the chef were spot on professional, and the vibe from what I assume to be regulars was friendly. Not the best I’ve ever been to, but for a small place like Brough the Ibar, in my experience, punches well above its weight, give it a try.

The Jolly Sailor Inn

It was lovely excellent service. Just called in for a quick non alcoholic drink and Bumped into an old school friend who is celebrating her birthday there this evening . Hope you have lovely celebrations along with Fiona x x

The Bear Inn

For my Wife's, and 11yrs sons Birthdays, they wanted to try some new dishes at The Bear Inn. Yet again, Chef Jamie did not disappoint, every time it is spot on. He and the service staff are very attentive, on learning of our special meal, Jamie took the time to come see us and gave my wife and son, free desserts.
Everybody in the local area, give it a try, lovely pub grub, especially the Steak and Ale pie.
Thank you to all staff at The Bear, for another lovely meal. ??

Fabihas

A great meal the first time so went back again... equally as good. Going to work our way through the menu now that we have moved to Winterton to try as many of their delicious currys as possible. Very good authentic flavours, huge chunks of well marinated chicken in each dish. Great service and very easy to order and pay online. Always ready perfectly on time. Highly recommend and will be back again very soon to tick more off the menu.

Voujon Indian Restaurant and Takeaway in Brough

First time visiting Vujon in Brough. A very friendly greeting from Muhammad, who asked what we liked a gave his recommendations to us all. The food was very tasty, the lamb was very succulent & the curries were spot on. Lovely, proper Irish coffee to finish the night off. Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Vujon, won't be our last visit.?

White Hart Inn

Cannot thank the new owners enough for their kindness and support after we broke down in North Cave with our family. Wish you all the best with the place and if we ever pass by again we’ll be sure to call in. Thanks again ?

Green Dragon

We booked 2 nights accommodation with The Green Dragon and arrived early evening Saturday to a bustling bar of enjoyment. Staff very friendly even though they were so busy. Lovely sized room on ground floor as had requested due to mobility issue.
We had our dinner in the pub both days and the food and service were excellent.
Wonderful find in a beautiful setting, we are coming back.

The Triton Inn

Absolutely superb! We arrived on a Sunday without a booking. We were taken to a table in no time at all. The service and food were both excellent. We'll definitely be returning.

Station Supper

Beautiful little Chinese next to the train station. Ingredients very fresh and tasteful. A little more pricey than others in vicinity but worth it. Staff lovely great vegetarian options and cash only. Grazie :)

Newport Chinese Takeaway

Decided to try this takeaway the other day and I have to say I am impressed, the chow mien was delicious and had the perfect amount of spice, the chicken in satay sauce was very tasty and not dry at all! I would definitely come again.

Subway Sandwich Bar

Food always fresh and available. With restrictions in place for Covid-19, limited people can wait in line. I had to stand outside of the ship for a while, before being able to go in. It took at least 15 minutes or more to be served, but the weather was fine so it wasn't a problem. On a wet day however, it could be a problem at busy times. I went at lunchtime around 1pm.

The Funky Fish

Good to see them back up and running! Would definitely recommend getting one of the smash burgers with chips, incredibly tasty and good value for money. 10/10 would eat again!?

Gia Hua Chinese Takeaway

Our first Chinese meal since moving to the area a year ago. We ordered prawn curry, chips, special chow mein and bbq spare ribs.

The only Chinese open on a Tuesday and we weren't disappointed.

Great value for money and fresh, hot dishes.

Highly recommend.

Medici Take Away

Love this place - haven’t ordered in a while and the food is absolutely delicious. You must try the burger, chicken and ribs. It’s some of the best takeaways I’ve ever had!
