Delicious meals, friendly staff, and lovely atmosphere. They offer complementary masala chai, which is sweetly spiced and comforting! What more would you need, just visit them already :) we had the sag aloo (non-spicy potatoes with spinach), chicken korma, and pilau rice - definitely would have them again.

A night out with friends and we weren't disappointed!. If your looking for great food this is the place. Two of us had sirloins which were cooked to perfection and my friend had swordfish which she said was as good if not better than any she's had abroad. Servive impeccable, really look after you, such a nice change from the usual. We weren't rushed and the prosecco and wine was quality also. We ate and drank had a wonderful evening and it didn't break the bank, thank you to Bella pais and staff for making our evening so memorable, we shall definitely return?

Went for my son’s birthday, staff were more than accommodating and went above and beyond. Brilliant service and generosity, and a well created family atmosphere. Food was delicious and hot, and I felt incredibly satisfied. Definitely the best chip shop in the city, always has been always will be.

We love this place. We invited some friends to join us for a meal in the Alma because we knew it to be a good choice having pre booked with them on WhatsApp.
Its a lovely cozy country pub with friendly welcoming staff. There is enough choice on the menu to satisfy different tastes, reasonably priced and a good selection of beverages from the bar.
We all chose something different to eat and, apart from a few salad leaves, nothing else was left on our plates. We were all feeling a little bit to full for the puddings deciding on icecream and coffees for afters. It was all delicious.

We had lunch here on a Saturday. This restaurant has great decor, almost feels like an Italian restaurant you’d expect to experience in Italy. The service was 10/10. Very attentive staff. All three courses came out in a decent time, piping hot food and very tasty. The mussels were so fresh ! The calzone was amazing also. Far better than the “mainstream” Italian restaurants in town.
