This venue is perfect size for our group of family & friends.
The charcuterie board which Jess put together for us, was delicious, filling and by far worth the money.
The service Harley and the team provided on the night was outstanding. They kept us informed throughout the night on the bar tab.
If you’re planning on hosting a party, I would 1000% recommend!

Stumbled on this lovely little restaurant by accident, what a wonderful accident it was! I was blown away by the food the friendliness and the atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed and came just before it got busy, food was really quick and was honestly the best lamb Balti I have ever had. Then to top off a lovely meal, I was given a red rose and 2 complementary drinks for myself and my husband. The whole experience was delightful, real above and beyond, personal and friendly service; which you just don’t get anymore. You could tell the place was full of locals and greeted as such. Again that level of personal service is rare, we were also so surprised at how reasonably priced it was. £37 for popadoms, 2 mains with rice and 2 drinks. Safe to say we have found our new Indian!

Every time we visit we always have such a nice time, the food is brilliant with lots of menu choice and good quality.

I had booked lunch with a friend, who had mentioned she would like to go somewhere with some music, so I chose this restaurant as their website states they have live music every Sunday from 12-6. It turns out they don't - so they really need to update their website! Other than that, it was a nice meal with good service and I would definitely go back.

The Peterboat

The staff are always very accommodating and the menu has a large selection including seafood and fish dishes.
I found the seafood platter slightly undersized for the cost but then again everything has gone up in price.
We highly recommend The Peterboat and great for larger gatherings.

The food arrived on time and was clearly labelled.It looked fantastic, the portions were very good and all of the meat was of decent quality and generous sized pieces.All the family agreed it was an excellent takeaway. Probably one of the best we've had in a while. I went for the Lamb Tikka Korai with Mushroom Rice (see photo).Definitely recommend this takeaway. Go try it - you won't be disappointed...

Always pleasant when you pick up or get a delivery. The food...just superb. The people who turn their noses up at kebab obviously have not had a Broadway Grill chicken kebab....wow! Thanks guys!

1585 London Rd, Leigh-on-Sea, Southend-on-Sea, Leigh-on-SeaWent with friends to catch up and had a great evening. The Chicken Pathia I had was one of the best that I have ever tasted. The onion bhajis were presented nicely in a basket and there were lots of them. I can't recommend the restaurant more highly. I have long been looking for an Indian that can deliver a Pathia this well, and now I've found it. Parking is easy just outside and the decor is clean, smart and a lovely place for any occasion, whether it be a birthday, anniversary or just a mid-week snaffle.

They are very understanding of allergies and my son, who has many allergies, really enjoys the pancakes. We are very grateful to them. We've always had great food there and my eldest really enjoys the biscuit decorating too. Definitely recommend them.

The waiter was very quick with taking our orders but not rushing us. The drinks were served quickly and the food was to die for! We had cheesy garlic bread to start with then we had mains and desserts! The atmosphere was very calming and romantic. And it is very reasonably priced for what you get. Overall we had a great experience and will be returning soon!

Was served by a young lady named Hannah who gave us the warmest welcome and whose service went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable afternoon. She was polite and attentive without being intrusive and was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks on offer.
She was happy to chat to us about our weekend and her young children, on little sleep she’s doing a fantastic job! You are made to feel like you are all friends which is wonderful!
The Sunday dinners are fantastic. Delicious food and very reasonably priced. I had the beef and it was cooked to perfection and a very generous portion, I couldn’t manage to eat it all! All of us agreed our roasts were fantastic. We haven’t been in before so haven’t tried anything else but the sharer boards looked great!
The football was on but there was a good atmosphere and everyone seemed to be having a great time.
We were made to feel like valued guests and we will definitely be returning!! Thank you to Hannah and the team!

The food was excellent, as was the service, and we had a very enjoyable time. We will definately be returning again soon…. And thinking up any excuses to do more bottomless brunches. It was busy later on and the dance floor was full of everyone having a great time. DJ played great music

Boy did we strike it lucky!
Lovely people who were most welcoming. Even re opening the kitchen for our party of six. The food was authentic and tasty and we enjoyed a few bottles of wine and some traditional Turkish desert too.
Great value and service from here. Highly recommended.
