4 High St, Moreton-in-MarshI visited this wonderful tearoom this morning and ordered a scrumptious lemon GF cupcake and a decaff cappuccino..wow, easily the best GF cake I've ever tasted and the coffee is out of this world..you cannot find cake or coffee this good in the Midlands. The team were very friendly and it was clear to see that they love their jobs ?

The Great Western Arms
Station Rd, Blockley, Moreton-in-MarshCosy pub with a pub dog - Springer - and beautiful outdoor area perfect for those warm summer evenings watching the sky turn to dusk. ???Food of very generous portions and great quality. We had the fish and chips with garlicky peas, fish cakes, and fried chicken burger which were all crisp to perfection ?

Grouch Coffee
3 New Rd, Moreton-in-MarshThis gorgeous coffee shop was recommended to us by strangers we met in the street on Tuesday- market day in Moreton-in-Marsh. They told us if we wanted good coffee, go straight to Grouch. Well, they were right - we’ve now been a few times. Lovely service too.

The food is absolutely excellent, and the egg benedict i had was amazing. Well done to the team.
Really friendly place and atmosphere was nice and chilled too.
Will definitely go back there again.
Again, the management and the team are amazing. I can't stress enough how amazing the food is, and also, i don't normally add good reviews like this.
This is a place to be to have a good breakfast or lunch.

The Black Bear Inn

The chef was so talented and friendly and accommodated my gluten allergy by making a cider-battered halloumi that was so tasty!Top-notch hospitality from the bartender too. Mermaid Fish Bar
23 High St, Moreton-in-MarshThe Absolute Best Fish and Chips shop in the Cotswolds. So i thought! Popped in 23rd July, and the 4 fish in the cabinet looked golden and crisp, yet when i saw the fish the member of staff was wrapping, it looked much darker. Arrived back in Bourton (just the same as other times before), tucked into the meal and the fish was dry and rubbery. Obviously re cooked and taken straight from the fryer and wrapped up. We drive from Bourton because the chippy here is disgusting, and the Mermaid has a good reputation. I will try it one more time and if dissatisfied, i will go elsewhere.

The food choice is excellent, wide range of sandwiches etc, they cater well for GF if you need it, great coffee, fantastic service and affordable pricing. The portions are generous and everyone is super friendly. We will be stopping next time we are in the area.

Lion House, High St, Moreton-in-Marsh⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If it were possible to award more than five stars, Raj Mahal would certainly deserve them.
Having dined at many Indian restaurants over the years, I can confidently say that Raj Mahal stands out as the finest I have experienced. The food was exceptional in both quality and flavour, the staff were attentive and courteous, and the restaurant itself was immaculate and spacious, creating a very welcoming atmosphere.
We visited to celebrate a friend’s birthday and brought along our own cake and candles. The staff were extremely accommodating and ensured everything was presented beautifully, which made the occasion even more memorable.
In summary, Raj Mahal offers an outstanding dining experience, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I look forward to returning at the earliest opportunity.

The availability of Father Brown souvenirs (postcards, mugs, tote bags, etc.) is not bad.

Daylesford, Moreton-in-MarshExtremely appreciative of the exemplary service staff received today. My wife’s 50th plans went a bit awry and we ended up at Legbar as a last minute booking. The head of staff had a fantastic professional “can do” attitude and even assisted with the cake lighting and rallying the troops to make the evening special. The gentleman who served us was diligent and everything you’d expect of delivering a great service. The slow roasted pork belly was the superb “Daylesford standard”. Thank you very much to the whole team for making it a memorable night.

Sweet Thoughts

High St, Moreton-in-MarshCannot answer about as only had Sunday lunch here. Ordering was simple. Staff were efficient and polite and chatty. Food came out quite quickly and very hot. Well worth the cost of the meal. Thought there would be more people in the inn and those that did come in went through to the tables outside, well it was a very sunny day.
I would recommend this place for a relaxed time with good, locally sourced food.

Beagle Bar & Brasserie
The Manor House Hotel, High St, Moreton-in-MarshWe dined here five times for breakfast as an amenity of our room at The Manor House Inn next door. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The menu options were great, including a plant-based Full English! ?
All said the food was delicious, save a few inconsistencies. The Eggs Benedict was not prepared well, firm poached eggs, thick/cool Hollandaise (two mornings).
These are just minor issues. The breakfast included a buffet of juices, assorted parties, meats & cheeses. Mixed fruits. My Porridge with banana & blueberries was decadent.
We enjoyed our mornings at the Beagle Brasserie, dining inside the conservatory surrounded nlby the gardens.

Soho Coffee
Moreton-in-MarshA wonderful little experience this morning at Soho coffee. The ladies that served me and prepared my food were full of smiles, good humour and friendly conversation... Definitely helping me to start my day off as happily as I could hope to. May I personally recommend the Banana & Spinach smoothie.... and the breakfast wrap!

High St, Moreton-in-MarshMy wife and I popped into this pub for a spot of lunch today, we didn’t realise they were only offering Sunday roasts and we did not want this. The lovely man at the bar (possibly the owner, Simon i think his name was)
Offered to ask the chef to make us a lovely Beef baguette instead of a roast. It was the best sandwich you could imagine and wven through in a few roast potatoes! Lovely pub, lovely food and incredibly good service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
