11 St Mary St, Thornbury, BristolA delicious lunch with a good friend, with the usual tempting selections - starting off with Ronnie’s yumm hand cut & roasted potato chips with a dip, followed by a delicate amuse-bouche, before our selected meals: an amazing looking monkfish & the delightfully pink venison, both sheer poetry on a plate & absolutely delicious - a small glass of an excellent white with the fish & an equally excellent Nero for the venison - we were not disappointed by either.
We were ably looked after by Jo, so nice to Mrs Ronnie at last!
What better way to celebrate a New Year than enjoying lunch with an old friend at “Ronnie’s”,:Thornbury - just wish we could do it more often!

White Lion
High St, Thornbury, BristolSecond time this week we have gone to the white lion in thornbury. The new onwers staff are friendly helpful and go out there way. The food is looks and tastes lovely. The sunday carvery is superb cook beautifully and all vegetables are fresh vegetables. I can’t recommend this pub enough for the food. And such helpful staff. Ser you again next sunday.

Gloucester Rd, Thornbury, BristolHad a beautiful fair priced meal. Excellent quality and lovely people on service.
For starter I had a special - the Yorkshire pudding with pigs in blankets Brie and cranberry sauce - it was incredible. So simple so tasty, genius.
The cod was lovely light and fluffy with a lovely side of fries.
Would defo recommend for a lovely cosy meal.

45 Oakleaze Rd, Thornbury, BristolReally miss my daily cajun chicken, lettuce and mayo sandwich from here. I used to go here for lunch when I worked nearby but stopped visiting when I moved jobs. Was back in the area today and just as good as ever (as was the cherry blondie) and the usual great service by Wendy and Graham, bonus points for remembering my sandwich after nearly 2 years of last ordering! Strongly recommened!

You can tell they care about the food and service by the little details: candles and real flowers on the tables, great food presentation, flavours spot on and balanced and a seasonal rotating specials menu. I have been many times and consistently had great food.10/10 would recommend

3 Quaker Ln, Thornbury, BristolThis was my very first time dining at an Indian restaurant, and although I’m usually not a big fan of Indian cuisine, this experience completely changed my mind. I ordered the highest spice level lamb dish, and it was exactly the level of heat I was hoping for—absolutely delicious. The lamb was incredibly tender, and the crackers were served with five different sauces, all full of flavour. The prata was also very enjoyable.
I appreciated that the food was served on small heaters to keep everything warm throughout the meal. The service was outstanding—they offered thoughtful food recommendations, gave us some chocolates, and even created mocktails and celebratory drinks for the pregnant member of our group to mark her baby girl.
The environment was warm and welcoming. I’d definitely return and highly recommend this place to others, whether you’re new to Indian food or a long-time fan.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a night out with friends. The staff, including Gabby, provided exceptional service, making sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. The drinks were fantastic, and the overall vibe of the place was just what I was looking for. Can't wait to come back again soon! The song I was looking for is “all the small things”

Chris is what customer service standards should be measured against. Great with my kids. Accommodating, conversational and great at what he does. 25A St Mary St, Thornbury, BristolI know these guys had a difficult previous year but are back on form now, Feros kitchen menu is open and aligned on the website for ordering, and the 5 star hygiene rating is back. Last night I had the double chicken burger, which was genuinely so delicious, with fresh salad and bun, a generous amount of sauce and the chicken fillets were well cooked with fantastic flavour. We also had some sides and a pizza. The pizza isn't going to beat (and isn't pretending to be) a flame stone baked artisan Italian pizza, but it's still a lot better than the big chains and very tasty. Good guys in there, quick delivery and always get the order right.

The staff in the restaurant were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The presentation was good. The staff that we interacted with in the main shop were also friendly. Definitely worth the 40 minute drive.
