26 Broad St, StamfordWe called in on a Wednesday night, and this was our second visit this year. The staff are very attentive and the food was very good again. We had Lamb Chattinad, Lamb Katmandu Ghost Biryani, Lamb Gurkahli and a Keema and Peshwari Naan. The lamb was so soft and all of the dishes were full of a nice rounded flavour.

1 Sheep Market, StamfordSuch an amazing place for authentic pizza, they are not chefs, they are magicians in the kitchen, because what comes out is pure magic. The bar team are fantastic and friendly but the cocktails they produce are always tasty and come with a smile. The floor team are very efficient and are packed full of information about the dishes. There are many great places to eat in Stamford but mario and his team are top of the list for me. I would highly recommend it to anyone living in Stamford or just passing through.

The Millstone at Barnack

They had ran out of the dish we wanted so rather than having us leave they accommodated by preparing an alternative which was not expected shows great service and management to ensure we didn’t leave disheartened. Would recommend this place pub to everyone.

After a long afternoon at Rutland water and not particularly attired for an evening meal in a restaurant, we chanced upon this hidden gem and sought a table.
We arrived at 6.10pm and we were seated immediately. We decided to try a cocktail each (Daiquiri and Limoncello Spritz) but they don’t quite have their cocktail making skills perfected yet and both were pretty awful.
The food arrived quickly and the service was good, so that made up for this minor issue.
My better half had the Sea Bass and I opted for the chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce. We then capped the evening off with a Crème brûlée and a Profiteroles desserts.
The food was outstanding and quickly delivered, however, we were the first customers in and there were only 6 additional customers by the time we left.
Between the two of us we spent £90, which I thought was reasonable.

We did have to wait a bit longer as the previous diners were hanging about but it was no problem for us. The staff were fantastic and very helpful whilst we waited. The meal itself was utterly fantastic and good value for money, and again the staff were wonderful. It was our first time in Stamford but it won't be our last! And we will certainly make a bee line for this restaurant again!

7 All Saints' Pl, StamfordWe came to Paten & Co for our anniversary and had a brilliant meal. I had the BBQ Braised Brisket which was so soft, tender and full of flavour, and the fondant potato it came with was really good too. My partner went for the Chicken & Ham Pie which was packed with meat, really tasty and the chicken and ham just fell apart. The chips were perfect as well – crispy outside and fluffy in the middle.
Service was just slightly let down as the toilets were out of order (so you had to pop to The Crown next door) and things were a touch on the slow side, but it honestly didn’t take away from the food, the atmosphere, or the overall experience. A lovely spot and definitely somewhere we’d recommend in Stamford.

I found a place that my son who can be picky was truly happy with and happened to be extremely healthy. The food is priced at a great value and I am most likely to return here to dine before I leave England later this week.

When we both arrived at this Great branch of Pizza Express, we were Greeted by the Restaurant Manager who handed us the Food and Drinks menu's. We were Escorted to our Allocated table their Restaurant. We sat down and we ordered our Drinks then Perused through the Generous menu. We chose the Chicken Wings for my Best Friend and for me the Chicken Gujoun for my Starter. We really Enjoyed our Starters. Then we ordered our Entrès next. My Best Friend ordered a Pizza and I oredered the Chef's Cannelloni with a Side Salad. When they were served to us by our Server, we were very Impressed with the Presentation. What a Great place, Yes we will be coming back soon in 2026. The Bill all together was only £ 64.00 with a Voluntary Gratuity if You wanted to Tip. I Absolutely Recommend You come and have Great very well cooked meal and Experience the Pizza Express Customer Service and Ambiencè. JM.BOWLES & CM.PEARCE.??????????????????????????

17 Broad St, StamfordCalled in on a Saturday night after a show at the Corn Exchange... Not too many in, so we got served immediately... A great choice of decent ales and not too pricey either. We're not local but were soon in conversation with some locals and although we were only in here for just over an hour we loved every minute of it. Always call in whenever we are in town, and looking forward to doing it again very soon.

43 St Mary's St, StamfordWas surprised with a visit her as I celebrated my upcoming nuptials with my friends and I can safely say it was the perfect place. The staff were amazing, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them (even though we were at the top level with lots of stairs!) The food was delicious and the presentation fantastic. We booked exclusive use of the terrace where we relaxed and enjoyed some more cocktails and champagne. I will definitely be revisiting this restaurant in the near future.

Wok This Way, StamfordBest Chinese in Stamford always go back here. They also cater for gluten free and I believe are bringing a gluten free menu out soon. My partner who is celiac had the crispy shredded chill beef and salt and pepper chicken gluten free and it was so good!! Thank you. Definitely recommend. They were also labelled as gluten free

Corn Exchange Theatre Company, Broad St, StamfordWent through Stamford on the way from Yorkshire to Suffolk, and had seen a good review for bacon sandwiches. So we went. I did say I was there for a good bacon sandwich, and apparantly it started when an Australian tourist complimented the cafe on a fantastic English bacon butty. Today (Tuesday) the bacon butty lived up to expectations and infact exceeded them due to hidden butter and fantasticly fresh doorstep bread, salty thick bacon....nom. I watched as tables were served in strict order and other dishes looked loaded and generous, and, the cafe inside the Corn Exchange amongst independent shops, was busy with, I assume locals, chatting in groups. 8-9 St Paul's St, StamfordVisited this place which on a very wet Sunday, and was thoroughly surprised with the atmosphere. The place has character and feels intimate. The food order was taken promptly and when it came out it was hot and tasty. The portions are generous and the cost very reasonable. Will be visiting again, recomend their Mad Turks Ultimate Mangal - abs delicious. It offers very well for Vegetarians too.

The Blue Bell
9 High St, Easton on the Hill, StamfordA lovely old fashioned pub with beams and many other bits of character. This is a pub situated a 10 minutes drive from the A1. Parking is to the rear and the pub is dog friendly too. We ordered the steak and ale pie x2 with peas and chips and thoroughly enjoyed it, chips were proper chips and the pie was full of chunks. Desserts and we had sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake with ice cream, both were delicious. The pub has a great bar area and a restaurant and a sitting area with TV too. Staff were attentive and even fitted us in, as we were late! Maybe this lovely little pub could put a board on the A43 to get more business? Or maybe it could ruin how relaxed the place is. Lovely relaxed friendly pub and well worth a visit. Visited February 27th 2026.

1 Castle St, StamfordMoved to the area and we were looking for a new go to place and 100% found it. The burgers are just lush and service was excellent (even a heads up about portion size which would have ended in us potentially ordering less)
You never know how great a place is until something goes wrong. Not even sure if i didn't listen to the repeat of the order correctly or where it went wrong but they fixed it immediately. Thank you! No photos as it was eaten too quickly ? Can only recommend!
