19 N End, BedaleAbsolutely delicious lunch. Charming staff. Immaculate loo. Perfect place for our lunch on our bike ride. We scored a window seat and could watch our bikes easily. Highly recommend this place.

Bedale Rd, Well, BedaleWe’d called for a drink before and wanted to try the food as the menu was extensive and very tempting! We didn’t book, on a Saturday lunchtime, there were quite a few folk in, we got a very warm welcome and friendly service. We were both spoilt for choice! Everything we ate was really good. Piping hot and good portions. We will definitely go back as it’s on a good walk when we stay in the area. A very good, reasonably priced Viognier to wash it down.

The Sprouted Kitchen
The Bridge, Aiskew, BedaleThis is a relatively new cafe but is a little gem. The quality is superb and the cost would easily be 3 times the price in large upper class restaurants. The menue is limited but don't let that put you off as there are often new menu items daily. The staff are brilliant and extremely accommodating. Amazing place and well worth a visit.

The Black Horse Inn
The black horse The green, KirklingtonWe were on holiday locally and chanced upon this gem of a pub. Cheryl and Dave who run it are really passionate about what they do and it shows. The food and beer was excellent. Good sized portions and delicious. The pies are among the best I've tasted and the mac and cheese balls are sublime. The atmosphere is very friendly and Lenny the pub dog welcomes everyone. It was so good we had to go back before we left for home. In these days when so many pubs are closing you guys are giving people exactly what they want: good beer, great food and a welcoming friendly environment at affordable prices. Congratulations!

The Woodman Inn
Burneston, BedalePopped in for dinner on the way home from Light Water Valley with husband and daughter in tow. Best burger I've ever had. Child portion huge and husband thoroughly enjoyed his pie.
Barmaid could not have been more helpful or pleasant (sorry I didn't get her name). Only wish it was closer to home, would be a regular visit.

32 Market Pl, BedaleVisiting our son at RAF Leeming and dropped in for a meal without a booking…very busy but warmly welcomed and given a table for 30 mins later.
Food was outstanding, as was the service and reasonably priced. Will return when next in the area. Son says he can’t wait to eat here again with his friends as it’s not too far from the base.

21 N End, BedaleUsed this take away for a few year , since been taken over got a bit pricy, the rice has been over cooked for the last 4 visits (Stodgy ) , must be batch cooked along with the chips and re heated , as they are getting tough so will need to find a decent Chinese takeaway over Thirsk way that'll get our weekly orders, sometimes twice a week ! Decent staff, just a shame about the decline of the food.

23 Market Pl, BedaleThe staff in Costa Bedale are so polite & you don't feel as rushed as you do in other Costa's I've been to. Last time we were in there the fire alarm went off (we were told not to worry, there's no fire), it was an issue that when the door opened it seemed to set it off. We found it quite funny & had a laugh with the staff about it afterwards. The manager there at the time came over & had a chat with us to explain. Again I couldn't praise the staff enough!

20 Market Pl, BedaleI tell you what - the dog that was wandering round here absolutely loved a belly scratch. Ear scratches, not too fond but still good. Back scratches - he wouldn't get out of bed for them. Head scratches were apreciated and respected though.

29 N End, BedaleStaying locally in caravan and popped in last night. Had freshly cooked Haddock and chips which were delicious. Cooked in beef dripping the fish was a decent size as were the chips. Served by a lovely friendly lady who was happy to chat whilst she was cooking.

Having read them thoroughly before visiting, you'll realise that these are not a fair representation of the Bedale branch as they cover 3 branches.We ordered in person and received fresh delicious food within 10 minutes. My pollo pizza was perfect, my fellas spicy beef pizza went down a treat (maybe more chillies?), the large chips were plentiful and the large mayo dip will keep us in mayo for the next month!I picked this pizza place because of the handmade dough and it doesn't disappoint. You can tell a great pizza when you feel like you can enjoy the dough just on its own. If we lived nearer, this would be our go-to pizza place. Thanks guys, we'll definitely be back next time we're in Yorkshire.
