White Horse Inn
White Horse Inn, West End, Ampleforth, YorkA lovely overnight dinner bed and breakfast stay at this lovely traditional pub.
Room was clean and tidy with a comfy bed and nice bathroom. We had dinner here and the food was really honest, well cooked and nice and fresh. Service with a smile and a nice selection of wines and local beer.
Breakfast in the morning was really nice as well.
The pub is set in a lovely little village with easy access to the local area.
Anyone in the area really must visit. You'll not be disappointed.

The Hare Restaurant
Scawton, Helmsley, ThirskWe had an absolutely fantastic meal/experience at The Hare. The Food and Service was amazing. The atmosphere was extremely relaxed, warm and friendly, we cannot thank all the staff enough.
The whole experience was just as amazing as any of the Michelin starred restaurants that we have been extremely fortunate to have visited in the past.
We would highly recommend The Hare to anyone.

The White Swan
East End, AmpleforthChanced upon this absolute gem whilst mooching around the area, superb gastro pub food, had no idea the head chef was Michelin trained when we went in initially just for a coffee - then booked for dinner later that evening, food was excellent, nothing too fancy just classics done really well, great ingredients cooked to perfection. Service and atmosphere excellent - well worth a trip, only a stones throw from Helmsley. Will 100% be back.

The Stapylton Arms
Wass, YorkWe are local to the area, however, this is the first time that I have visited the Stapylton. Being an avid self elected Sunday lunch critique the lunch I was presented with was superior and one of the best within a 20mile radius.
Brilliant attentive staff, superb quality good.

Hawnby Tea Room
Front St, Hawnby, YorkA wonderful quaint tea room and village shop. The owners are incredibly hospitable the shop offers quality produce - a great selection, the dining menu is rather extensive and delicious plus they do takeaway afternoon tea. We loved it and will return again.
