The guy behind the bar (manager?) who looked like Matthew Baynton was unbelievably brilliant! Best bottomless brunch we’ve ever been to, really attentive, the drinks didn’t stop flowing! Food all came out on time, great atmosphere, a screen in every corner with every sport we could possibly want to watch. Shame we don’t live in the area or we’d be back every week!

Our experience with Le Manoir was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very first time we reached out about hosting our elopement there, we knew we were in the best possible hands.

Every single member of their team, from the front of house staff to our event planner Jenny, the in-house florist Emma, the chefs and pastry chef Luke and Benoit, the sommelier went completely above and beyond to make our day perfect. Throughout the entire planning process, Jenny was always available to answer questions, talk through ideas, and accommodate any tweaks we wanted to make. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

The team embraced our vision wholeheartedly, even transforming certain spaces to create a first-time dinner experience that felt intimate, personal, and uniquely ours. The attention to detail was simply unmatched. Every flower placement, every course, every small touch was considered and executed flawlessly.

The culinary experience alone was exceptional - completely tailored to us! Each dish was crafted with such care and precision.

What truly sets Le Manoir apart is the warmth and dedication of its team. They don’t just host you for events and stays, they create memories that feel deeply personal and incredibly special. Our stay and our wedding were beyond anything we could have imagined. Absolutely exceptional in every way. We will be back to see this venue and it’s team post refurbishment in 2027!

Just called in for dinner whilst walking past heading for another restaurant. So pleased we did! Anthony, our waiter was so friendly and helpful. He suggested we try the house lamb curry (no 19 on the menu) which was superb - tender meat and a sauce that was aromatic and not too spicy.\nThe naan breads and rice were very good too. The meal worked out at approx 25 pounds each with a drink which is a bargain these days.\nBusy early evening which is a good sign. I can recommend Yeti.

It is so hard to find any decent Moroccan restaurant outside of London. I think I have found it. Le Kesh in Oxford. The harira soup was refreshing and delicious. But the star of the show has to be chicken olive tagine. The chef seems to be very apt at layering the flavours, it is surprisingly smokey and tangy. The fish tagine was also really good. I will be back. Everything is fresh and homemade. Places like this should be supported.

I visited this restaurant and absolutely loved my experience! I ordered the Rosso Pizza, which was delicious and perfectly spicy the way I wanted it. I also tried the Irish Coffee and Hot Chocolate with Rum, and both were amazing they really made my day.

There was one waitress (unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name) who greeted us, showed us to our table, and took our order. She was very professional, kind, and had a lovely presence her warm attitude made the experience even better.

Overall, it was a fantastic visit great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Ben and his team were amazing. My daughter booked the table originally then had to keep adding more people. We were 17 in the end. Ben always said it was no trouble. The food was amazing. I had the roast chicken. It was the best I have ever had. It was juicy and tasty along with all the trimmings. Definitely 5* I can also say everyone said their roasts were perfect too. Everything was served with a smile despite all of us being noisy and a little cramped. It’s a small pub.Desserts didn’t disappoint either. Everything tasted freshly made. We will definitely be going back. Thank you so much. We really had a great experience.

We stayed for one night in this hotel and did not regret it!
First of all — the location. Since the hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, it’s very quiet there. We slept peacefully, there was no noise, and only the wind came knocking on the window. The bed was comfortable, soft, and clean. There was also a fold-out sofa in the room — it felt just like a bed, equally comfortable.

Secondly — the room. It was very spacious, clean, cozy, and exactly what you’d expect from a good hotel.

Thirdly — the restaurant. We really enjoyed our breakfast. The buffet was well prepared, and the food itself was delicious. There’s something for everyone to eat.

We are very happy that we chose to stay here! Stay here — it’s a great hotel!

Delicious pies, fairly priced, walled garden, friendly service.

I particularly enjoyed the beef and stilton pie. The pastry was crisp and flaky. £16 with loads of chips and well executed homemade gravy is frankly a bargain.

They also have real ale and flat ciders, showing that they are in fact a proper pub.

First of all ill start by saying, I've been eating for Lulas since she was a trader at Gloucester Green Market. The food has always been incredible. In fact, I loved the yellow split peas so much that I ordered berber off the Internet and have tried to recreate this dish several times. Whilst my version is good, nothing beats or fixes the craving for it like Lulas.

Secondly, the service was OUTSTANDING. I don't remember the gentleman's name that served us, but you could tell he was passionate about making sure people had a great time.

The Ethiopian wine was a nice alternative, and even though I wasn't overly gond of the strong honey taste, it was nice to try it. Same goes for the Ethiopian beer, which was lighty and very drinkable.

The food all around was incredible. My friend loved her lamb dish, while I adored my Gomen and split peas ( obviously). I love injera and eating with my hands so got stuck in.

Only thing I would have liked is the food to be a little hotter (temp wise) and a bit of spice. I asked for some chilli but it never came. The dishes I ordered aren't spicy, but I would have liked some.slided chilli's or hot sauce on the table to be able to.add some.

All around fantastic evening.
