I had an amazing gluten-free three course meal as a part of my package with Oxford River Cruises. Unfortunately, the cruise was cancelled, but the meal did not disappoint. The carrot soup and sea bass were delicious. These were also the best fries I had during my short England trip. Well seasoned and thick cut. The crème brûlée was pretty solid as well. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere right on the Thames was excellent.

Had a fantastic Sunday roast today, I had the beef and my Partner had the pork. We had apple pie and ice cream which was delicious. The service was excellent and all in all it was definitely reasonably priced. Just one negative was that the English mustard and horseradish sauces all came in sachets that were a challenge to open. This wasn't the case the last time we eat here, please revert back to serving sauces in ramekins.

Best meal I have had in Oxford. I went back to check if it was a fluke and was still blown away by their katsu burger with chips and curry on the side. I literally dream of it now. I also love their 2 for 1 drinks, just wish it did not have to be the same drink.

They do not do student discounts but apparently you can sign up for an NHS discount on their website but I did not know about until I was literally paying haha.

I visited this restaurant and absolutely loved my experience! I ordered the Rosso Pizza, which was delicious and perfectly spicy the way I wanted it. I also tried the Irish Coffee and Hot Chocolate with Rum, and both were amazing they really made my day.

There was one waitress (unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name) who greeted us, showed us to our table, and took our order. She was very professional, kind, and had a lovely presence her warm attitude made the experience even better.

Overall, it was a fantastic visit great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I’ve heard about this authentic Neapolitan pizza van off my friend for years and I came across them at my sons school bbq so I had to go try them.
My friend did not disappoint!!
Amazing traditionally made Neapolitan pizza, dough crispy, fresh good quality ingredients combine to make pizza to good to have one! I chose half neoplitian and half diavlo, being a school bbq diavlo was not on the menu but the staff max a custom one just for me …and I would recommend one of each it’s that good finished with a good cheese pull and garnished with arugula .
Customer service was second to none, both colleagues knew my friend and we had a good chat in the short time the pizza cooked. Overall a great experience 8.8/10

Lula's Ethiopian and Eritrean Cuisine

First of all ill start by saying, I've been eating for Lulas since she was a trader at Gloucester Green Market. The food has always been incredible. In fact, I loved the yellow split peas so much that I ordered berber off the Internet and have tried to recreate this dish several times. Whilst my version is good, nothing beats or fixes the craving for it like Lulas.

Secondly, the service was OUTSTANDING. I don't remember the gentleman's name that served us, but you could tell he was passionate about making sure people had a great time.

The Ethiopian wine was a nice alternative, and even though I wasn't overly gond of the strong honey taste, it was nice to try it. Same goes for the Ethiopian beer, which was lighty and very drinkable.

The food all around was incredible. My friend loved her lamb dish, while I adored my Gomen and split peas ( obviously). I love injera and eating with my hands so got stuck in.

Only thing I would have liked is the food to be a little hotter (temp wise) and a bit of spice. I asked for some chilli but it never came. The dishes I ordered aren't spicy, but I would have liked some.slided chilli's or hot sauce on the table to be able to.add some.

Ben and his team were amazing. My daughter booked the table originally then had to keep adding more people. We were 17 in the end. Ben always said it was no trouble. The food was amazing. I had the roast chicken. It was the best I have ever had. It was juicy and tasty along with all the trimmings. Definitely 5* I can also say everyone said their roasts were perfect too. Everything was served with a smile despite all of us being noisy and a little cramped. It’s a small pub.Desserts didn’t disappoint either. Everything tasted freshly made. I particularly enjoyed the beef and stilton pie. The pastry was crisp and flaky. £16 with loads of chips and well executed homemade gravy is frankly a bargain.

They also have real ale and flat ciders, showing that they are in fact a proper pub.

A brilliant, traditional restaurant, serving excellent food. Mario's is tucked along the Cowley Road quietly hidden amongst the bright lights of the fast food chains and other much newer restaurants. Inside the restaurant is small, but this only adds to the atmosphere of a very popular bustling place. For a Monday evening, when I ate there with my family, Mario's was so busy. Every table was full. There is a wide variety to choose from on the menu, all at a very competitive and reasonable price. The quality of the food is excellent and very tasty.
Mario's is a hidden gem and we will definitely be back for more.

Totally satisfying dining experience for our first Lebanese meal experience in Oxford. Probably our first Lebanese restaurant who served beer, wine, prosecco and even cocktails. Hummus we had were nicely done with tasty lamb. Chicken Shawarma we had are having a crunchy wraps with very tender and juicy meats. Salmon fillet too were fresh with nicely done salads and side. All the meats for mixed grill such as chicken, lamb and vegetables are very good too. Kind of love the condiments they served here which is a bonus on top of food we are having. The place is always occupied so please be prepared to do reservation or popped in early (like us) for a very fond dining experience. Recommended.

Exceptional customer service from Lily/ Lola (Sorry, I don't remember the name clearly. I found out our rental car had broken down shortly after the meal).

I normally like Katsu will relatively more curry than usual, and she was very kind to offer me more.

And, the food was tasty and sat well; I didn't get food poisoned which is a very frequent occurrence in restaurants (fast food or otherwise) in England.

I'd definitely go here again if I'm travelling to/ via Oxford.

Wow, amazing - out-of-this-world-tasty food, excellent and friendly service and pretty special lattes!

Can’t recommend enough, good thing we don’t live in this part of town, otherwise I’d probably be there every day they have food on.

Favourites today were the aubergine curry and the stir-fried pork, although everything that comes out of this kitchen is truly magical! And so were the coffees - seriously good stuff, don’t think I have had such a great latte in ages.

Thank you to everyone at Elle’s looking after us today! We had a special bday celebration today and everyone at Elle’s today was so very accommodating and kind to our group. One of us was coeliac and it was great that many of the options were gluten-free for them.

Now, when can we go back next?

We visited the restaurant due to having such high recommendations from friends and family and from living in Headington. When we arrived we was greeted by a very unhappy member of staff, she didn't smile or seem welcoming at all. This made us feel extremely uncomfortable, as she also slammed the door behind us, to the point where we asked if they were closing in terms of being an inconvenience and she shook her head. If the Restraunt wasn't so highly recommended we would have left from how we were treated. However, we stayed which we were very happy we did. The food was absolutely lovely , cooked to perfection and lovely flavours. We had a range of pizza, gnocchi and risotto. The ice cream was iconic , not only the consistency but also the flavours. We had a second waitress who we think may have been Italian who was much more pleasant. I can happily say we will be coming back as the atmosphere and layout of the restaurant was very cute and cosy, the food was excellent value of money and despite the cold greeting the rest of our experience was pleasant. Thank you .

Toilets were a let down. Three urinals, two cubicles, one basin, one air-dryer. On the basin, was a single dirty tap which had ice cold water, no hot water. Isn't that a legal requirement? Perhaps people don't wash their hands here?! ??‍♂️

The White Hart ha a different selection of real ales every time I visit. Believe me, I'm not complaining. I haven't rated the food because of the selection. The choice is either pizza or burgers. Max Price for a pizza is 14 pounds. Burger's will cost max of 13.50. chips and salad included. Down to seven pounds. This is my favorite pub on the Oxford canal. Community run. Everyone mucks in. It's a gem.

This is by far the best Indian food that I have ever eaten, certainly in Oxford. Try their breakfast buffet served from 0830 to 1230 every Saturday, fantastic food and fantastic value. Only £9.50 for all you can eat. Try the South Indian coffee, at £2.50. Wonderful welcome given to me. This first visit I shall certainly be repeating, soon! I was told they serve Biryani for Sunday lunch, that is my next date at the Ampleforth Arms.

We stayed for one night in this hotel and did not regret it!
First of all — the location. Since the hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, it’s very quiet there. We slept peacefully, there was no noise, and only the wind came knocking on the window. The bed was comfortable, soft, and clean. There was also a fold-out sofa in the room — it felt just like a bed, equally comfortable.

Secondly — the room. It was very spacious, clean, cozy, and exactly what you’d expect from a good hotel.

Thirdly — the restaurant. We really enjoyed our breakfast. The buffet was well prepared, and the food itself was delicious. There’s something for everyone to eat.

We are very happy that we chose to stay here! Stay here — it’s a great hotel!
