13 Station Rd, LockerbieMy first time visiting Lockerbie (from London for work), and wanted a beer or two before going to my hotel (because I hate sterile hotel bars). Good selection of beers (one or two off on a late Monday afternoon/evening) but very good Guinness @ £4.50/pint.
The staff and locals were brilliant! I stayed far longer than I had intended as everyone was really friendly, with great banter. As there were no taxis, one of the bar staff gave me a lift to my hotel. What unbelievable hospitality! I will definitely return whenever I’m in the area.

The Brig
35 Bridge St, LockerbieCalled here on our way to our holiday let. I've never walked in a pub and felt so welcomed in my life. The bar staff and locals were so happy and smiley. They give us water for our dogs (and a treat too). I truly could of sat there all day! Thanks for your hospitality.The Green's, plus Dennis and Dave (woof, woof) Retrievers.

Royal Bar
6 Station Rd, LockerbieWe stumbled up this lovely bar after a sight seeing visit nearby, asked if they served food and they had a small menu which was good enough. Friendly barman and we ordered a bacon cheese burger with chip and onion rings to go with our beers. small pool table and darts to play with, even the regular customers were friendly.

It was really nice ,harsh brown weren’t oily ,I loved the spinach and avocado on the side . I really enjoyed it and My daughter loved her pancakes. She kept going hmm ? delicious. The bacon was grilled not fried .just perfect .she wanted chocolate but I’m glad they didn’t come with chocolate?
Service was okay ,the girl came to clean our table and sprayed the table with the cleaning spray and it was spraying all over us.

The Starfish Restaurant And Coffee Shop
112-116 B723, LockerbieMy wife and I have started to use ‘The Starfish’ as our go to stop for a foodie refuel when travelling up and down the M74. There’s plenty of free parking in Lockerbie and the food portions are generous and, more importantly, the chips are consistently great and the accompaniments very good. Don’t bother with service stations et al, if you need a break and food pull into Lockerbie and try here - I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Lucky Rainbow
46 High St, LockerbieI’ve been coming to Lucky rainbow for years, the food is great quality and always cooked fresh. I like to mix up my order and Billy is always happy to help out. The crispy chicken in chilli garlic sauce is one of the few things that I always come back too, I’ve lived in a few towns and cities across Scotland and this dish is one that I couldn’t do without and nowhere else does anything similar.
What I will say though is this is a family kitchen and as such doesn’t have a cast of thousands in it, if you don’t get your orders in early on a Friday and Saturday it can be a battle to get your order in. Use the Facebook page to put early orders in.

Undoubtedly, I was not used to the level of detail in customer service! Having returned back to the States two weeks ago, my adoration for Greggs has continued to this day! Thank you for the wonderful service. You guys have a great team!
