Restaurants in Builth Wells
The Drovers Cafe & Restaurant
34-36 High St, Builth WellsFantastic find, we sat in the covered outside area and had a wonderful choice of breakfasts. Prices very reasonable and my breakfast included tea or coffee, all this for less than £10. We parked our Motorhome in the carpark by the river, 2 minute walk to this delightful cafe / restaurant, great service, quality produce and a good price.

The Cedars
Hay Rd, Builth WellsCozy, beautiful and Delicious!
We stayed at The Cedars while attending an event in the area, and it was an absolute treat. Everything about the guesthouse is done with care and good taste—from the thoughtful decor and soft bedding to the curated selection of tea bags and art in the room. It’s a modest space, but charming and welcoming.
The highlight of our stay was without a doubt Nick’s cooking. Using fresh, local ingredients, he turns every dish into a celebration of flavor—truly a party in your mouth! Breakfast is made to order, with wonderful coffee and plenty of options to start your day right. We recommend trying every dish you can—and don’t skip dinner! It’s worth staying in for.
There’s plenty of parking if you're coming by car. If, like us, you’re arriving by train, it’s best to arrange transport in advance.
All in all, The Cedars offers a warm, cozy atmosphere with exceptional food and hospitality. Highly recommended!

Greyhound Hotel
3 Garth Rd, Builth WellsFood and drinks: We just went as it was raining and close to where we were staying, the pub basic in the way of furniture but comfortable. A good range of drinks . The pub was very clean and the barmaid was cleaning the shelfs in between serving customers. The menu was a good one ,was told one thing was not on it but still great choice. When the food came it was nice to see a full plate and had homemade chips and was well presented it was real homemade cooking. Its was a really lovely meal all round. It was well worth the money. Have to other places and been so disappointed . The food and drinks in the greyhound hotel are well worth the money brilliant.

The Pheasantry
Caer Beris, Builth WellsJust back from a perfect stay here with my family. The house and gardens are so beautiful. The pool table and hot tub were a highlight. The beds were really comfortable and the house had everything you could need. We had a couple of questions while there and David and Caroline were really quick to get back to us and help. We were really sad to leave. Had lovely meals at the white horse and cosy corner cabin.

The Barley Mow Public House
Barley Mow Hotel, 1 West St, Builth WellsAbsolutely awesome pub. Allowed us to bring in a kebab from over the road, all of the bar staff couldn't do enough for you and we're lovely and welcoming. They've got a focus on serving the absolute best pint they can and still remain at very good prices. Had a great night in here, even stuck my vape on charge for me when it was dying. Best pub in Builth!

The Fountain Inn
7-9 Broad St, Builth WellsFriendly boozer serving pub food. Popular with motorbikers. Had the breakfast bap one day and the fountain burger the next day. Basic grub but good portion sizes and a welcoming vibe, located in the town centre. Burger, fries and pint was around £15. Also got to see a 10 year old Collie riding a motorcycle which was priceless.

Burger King
A483, a470 Station Rd, Builth WellsService was a tad slow (busy time?) and I struggled with the touch screen ordering - I suppose it was obvious to the person that designed the app. Staff friendly and well turned out and food up to standard.
