Excellent service, food didn't take long and tasted great, excellent value and a warming atmosphere, very friendly staff, overall would definitely recommend to friends and family, one of my favourite places to go.

The Lemon Tree Restaurant With Rooms

An unusual review as I didn't actually stay at the hotel. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I couldn't make it to Wrexham to use the room I had booked. I received a text from them in the evening, giving instructions for a self check-in. They had assumed I would be arriving late. The text gave detailed instructions about how to access the hotel and my room. For me, this is above and beyond.

Crown

Rather crowded when we arrived and the staff seemed very busy..
Couldn't use the QR code to order because you have to order at the bar to use the discount code sent by email..
Seems to me so many staff but little attention to service or guests..
Never asked if everything was ok or if we needed any help at all..
In fact my daughter asked where the baby changing room was and the young man just said i don't know and walked off..
Still don't know if there is one available or not...
Enjoyed the food.. but service and attention was seriously lacking unfortunately..

Red Lion

Absolutely fantastic pub! Great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff, and the food was spot on. Everything was served quickly and with a smile. Lovely place to relax with a drink — clean, cosy, and well looked after. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends.

The Pant-yr-Ochain

A fantastic pub experience. From the initial greeting to the table service, the food and drink, everything was faultless. We are looking forward to our Sunday roast tomorrow.

Tava Restaurant

I ordered a Lamb Naga Curry after being recommended it due to no duck available. Zero complaints and I'm over the moon for the alternative suggestion, it was stunning.

Wrexham Fish Bar

We have been eating here for a few years and have not been disappointed. Today tho the portion sizes were smaller and the prices have gone up. Usually go once a week but will be going once a fortnight now as just too expensive.

La Baguette

The costs for sandwiches are high anywhere you go these days therefore its very important to ensure that the quality of the food and service matches the cost and it sure does! Thank you. The current owners have done a fantastic job.

Heaven Coffee Shop

Depends who's working as to what kind of service you get. One lady with the ponytail and glasses is brilliant, service is fast, but some are so slow and just keep taking orders and not delivering the food and drinks ordered so long waits. Visited a few times before seeing another customer have their loyalty card stamped so picked one up myself. I don't think bad reviews are helpful, I hope they improve the place.
One thing I dont like tho is the cutlery in a tin on the tables left uncovered for anyone to touch, cough or sneeze on or flies to defecate on, atleast wrap them in a napkin or give them out with food orders.

Hampden Arms

Early visit. As I was staying in Wrexham I thought I'd make a visit to the Hampden. I use to manage it a long time ago, phew looking good the place was nice and clean and the beer was great. Wish I could have stayed longer but I had the car, maybe next time

Yiannos fish bar wrexham

Don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I feel that the staff need more training in customer service. My order was incorrect and when I rang up, I was told “I don’t know what you want me to do” even after acknowledging that they had read my order wrong. Somehow this is now a me problem, even though it’s their mistake. Normally I highly recommend the food and service here, but some of the staff let the place down.

Yama Oriental Cuisine (Chinese Takeaway)

Can't really comment on the inside as we have only had takeaway. Love that you can order and pay online.
Love the fried rice! Perfect for what we like! Good selection and not had a bad one yet.

Georges Plaice

Recently moved to area and the neighbours suggested this chippy. Started going on a Monday and it’s really fresh and tasty. So far I’ve tried the fish & chips and a few of the burgers. All to a really high standard.
Staff are friendly too and the girl that works at the till is really smiley and efficient.

I ordered 15 party sandwiches platters for a gender reveal party. I have to say they were the most delicious sandwiches, perfectly presented and the selection was brilliant. The Trotting Mare Inn

Lovely pub with a modern rustic setting. Quiet for a Friday on valentines day, with one gentleman doing the serving, cooking etc but very attentive and fast service.
Food was great, nice steak and pizza, with Welsh beer on draught. Classic desserts available too.
Excellent service would definitely recommend!

Kervan Pizza And Kebab House

We love kervans food it always tastes amazing!!But tonight they really impressed me... we orderd a delivery and when it arrives my 3 year old little girl loves to go to the door an collect the it with her daddy. However, this time it was too heavy for her to carry and she had a melt down .Literally a minute after closing the door the delivery driver was knocking with a fruit shoot for her as she was so upset.He didn't have to do this but thank you so much for doing it.Great food, great people!!

I only called in for one pint, and as Wrexham has many similar pubs, this was my first visit, it was a mid afternoon on a weekday, so it was quiet, but the beer was nice and the staff were friendly

Acrefair Pizza & Kebab

We just ate from here.
Fantastic kebab and food...

My son got a small kebab and it had very little in way if kebab meat.
My large kebab had a few extra slices than the small kebab.

My daughter had chicken nuggets and said they were lovely.

Shamol Tandoori

Stayed at Llandegla fisheries in our Motorhome and needed a takeaway.
We stumbled across Red Chilli and made an order and was so glad we did as the food was absolutely fantastic!
Delivery was so quick as well which always helps when you've arrived late in the evening.
We ordered the set menu for two people which did not disappoint it was so tasty and so substantial and so much better than the restaurant food we've had in the past.
We will definitely be ordering from Red Chilli when we are next in the area thank you.

What a wonderful restaurant with great atmosphere, easy parking, comfortable seating and great quality food. We’ve been for the breakfast a couple of times because it is just so good. They offer an unlimited full breakfast, which includes continental and coffees for GBP 10.99. \n\nStaff are friendly but can be overwhelmed when it’s busy.\n\nIt is best to reserve a table as this spot is popular.

The Bamboo Takeaway

Under new management and the food was amazing and very tasty.

I've been to this place a few times. Was noticed under new management, and now the food is amazing even better than before! Thank you, chef! The salt and pepper chicken and black bean dishes are my favourite ever. Very friendly service and attentive. Definitely will be used again and would recommend it to all my friends.

Castle Tandoori Chirk

Owners extremely pleasant and food delicious. We were staying at local campsite and requested timed delivery to coincide with our walk back to campsite. Delivery was perfect and driver was such a lovely lady. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great tasting food and very accommodating staff. We went on a Wednesday and got 50% off our food bill which worked out to around £15 a head which was amazing for the price, would recommend highly!

Accidentally ordered a meat supreme instead of veggie, being vegetarian it could have been a very disappointing evening, but I called the branch and they were happy to send a replacement. Great service. Thank you!

Excellent for kids and adults disabled parking lifts to save walking up the stairs lots of changing rooms and lockers £1 coin needed for lockers fair size swimming pool tho odd shape both ends are shallow 1.25m and 1.5m the middle is the deepest but only 2m so no diving basically no jumping in £17 for 2 adults 2 children water side was good fun height restriction 1.2m under must ride with an adult lazy river great to just float around with a jacuzzi in the middle lifeguard male dark hair glasses bit rude because I swam my child from 1 end to the other shouting no children with armbands in the middle I explained I was pushing my child from one end to the other not letting go once he just shouted again and again his attitude was appalling I'm a 40 year old bloke been swimming long enough longer than hes been alive with the same qualifications as him no need for his attitude I'd under stand if my lad was swimming by himself but I was right there only other bad point was the
showers didn't work at all other than that great place to visit

Stayed in the touring section of park which perfectly layed out. Facilities were very good golf course, pitch & put, heated swimming pool to say just a few. Nice well laid out country walk, plenty of variety to eat and drink.

Black Lion Rhos

Had a lovely night in the black lion again live band brilliant music and people are so friendly. Can't wait to see Christine again the landlady made us so welcome

Visited a spar in porthmadog. Bought two Pasty s.Absolutely fantastic filled from end to end with a good filling. Could not believe the quality.Eleys pie shop in ironbridge should adopt your Creed.if you where in ironbridge you would win hands down.Keep up the fantastic work, don't change what is not broken. McDonald's

Super clean.
Excellent 5 star service from the smiley happy staff. The healthy food arrived piping hot and within seconds, our order was 100% correct and we didn't have to repeatedly ask them to get it right. I would recommend using the spotless toilets, this is where you truly see the level of commitment to hygiene and the professional attitude of the cleaners. I will be taking the mother-in-law every day because I think this food will help her old weak heart.

Kings Head

Lovely meal had on Mother’s Day. They were able to accommodate 10 of us with only a few days notice during a busy period. Food tasted good and good value. All the staff were very friendly and all had a smile for us. Will definitely come back for a meal and drink soon.

Magic Dragon Brewery Tap

Our first visit to Wrexham. Decided to try out the beer in this pub as it was listed in our Good Beer Guide. We weren't disappointed. Friendly staff and good service.

The Royal Oak

Went to see a number of the acts as part of Focus Wales. A large antelope head dominates the bar area near where the performance area. Great beers, great atmosphere and sound.

Poachers

A group of 14 ladies enjoyed excellent food and brilliant service. Among us there were a great number of different meals and each was delicious.
The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Anise

I have been trying to get my wife to eat Indian food for years so We ordered a Takeaway Korma with fried rice today 24/1/26 .
What can I say the service was excellent and the food was first class the wife enjoyed the food and said we will definitely order again I would recommend the Anise Wrexham to anyone

Value for Money (Really liked the portion)

This little café is an absolute cutie! It has such a warm, small and rustique feeling the moment you step inside (I mean, did you see that window?)

The décor is simple but full of charm, the staff was so friendly.

They have a cute outside area, deffo great spot for next time.

Gwersyllt Fish Bar

I never, ever post reviews - but Ive gone out of my way to find somewhere to give Gwersyllt fish bar a massive high five and here we are. Ive just had the biggest, tastiest fish Ive had for many years (it absolutely rivalled the Mermaid in Barmouth - which is HUGE NEWS) The guys were lovely and cooked the fish fresh for me with a smile and a bit of banter - we had THE MASSIVE FISH, a large chips, 10 onion rings and 5 large mozarella sticks - came to £16 - and they threw in a carton of ketchup, mayo and even a carton of vinegar too! that's a really good price considering the price of a chippy tea these days! 10/10. Thanks Guys. We will be back and I'm telling my friends :)

Cymru Kebab & Pizza

This Kebab shop is the heart of Cefn Mawr!
The food is really good, they do donner meat to perfection, and the chips are perfect.

Located at the high street so it's not far from a pub and other shops.
Atmosphere is pretty nice as they have a TV you can watch while you wait for your food.

I think walking up that hill can be a little struggling especially for the disabled because it's located on top of the high street hill.

But apart from that, great kebab shop!

Costa Coffee

Shout out to Paige and Lily for speaking to and serving their customers with such respect and kindness. They were so polite to everyone and couldn’t do enough for them. I have never seen such lovely service. Definitely a credit to you,

KFC Wrexham - St Georges Crescent

i left 2 1 star reviews 4 months since then i’ve ordered twice both been delicious but sadly they always forget my drinks or only give me one considering the milkshakes are £4:50 each and uber eats do not help at all i’d say ive lost out on £20 from kfc of items what have arrived but uber eats do not care and i follow then kfc link and get no reply sadly

Costa Coffee

At the moment the staff are all new and fairly inexperienced causing a queue to form right up to the entrance. The girl taking the orders wasn’t taking names so there was a possibility of the drinks getting mixed up; which happened to me. Couldn’t see any experienced members of staff to help them out unfortunately.

Ko Sing Takeaway

MIL hated everything, my husband and I enjoyed ours apart from the ribs in BBQ sauce, the sauce had no flavour and the ribs were extremely fatty and chewy. I think it is rather expensive for what we received.

Came for a Sunday dinner and the service was amazing! Bar staff were friendly and chatty and created the perfect atmosphere. Would like to say a massive thank you to Neil and Lyndsay for making it such a good family day out. Will be back!

The Turf Hotel

Visited as my daughter likes Wrexham FC and wanted a drink and a look around in there. Friendly atmosphere even wearing g my Liverpool cap and my Liverbird tattoo on my leg. Nice pint of Guinness served by a friendly lady whi had to put up with a rather snotty woman, but she remained professional and never batted an eyelid, I would have told her to do one...

Harvest Vegetarian Kitchen

Such a good takeaway! Can’t recommend enough, for vegans and non vegans, we went with some friends who eat meat and they said it was even better than their usual Chinese takeaway

I'm not sure whether they serve food as I went there for the music. The pub is week set up for live music and they have some good bands. Great to see a venue keeping live music going. An added bonus is they serve proper beer at proper prices!

Cross Foxes - Erbistock

The pub is in a beautiful riverside location, and staff are helpful and friendly.
We came in for Sunday lunch, thank you so much for being able to cater for my friend, who has food intolerances, and myself who struggles with digestive conditions, there was nothing on the menu that we could have, so without any fuss we were reassured that the chef could provide us with something suitable and made us some wonderful risottos, which were perfect, thank you.

Made it to Wrexham. Had a walk, seen the bride arrive for her wedding. Picked a nice independent tea shop for lunch. So before lunch come, I love the little shops. Walkways, little twists & turns. Locals must be proud to live here.

Amazing food, phenomenal portion size, really friendly staff. Calzone was absolutely full of filling & tasted lovely. Will defiantly be eating there again & recommend to anyone in the area AAA+++

Stopped for both eat-in and takeaway breakfast on multiple occasions. Food is always hot, fresh and enjoyable. Staff are friendly and efficient. Competitive prices, especially for a full breakfast.

A lovely cafe with a beautiful interior, nice ambience, great service and delicious breakfast, with proper toast. The staff are lovely and so welcoming. Highly recommend this establishment.

The Happy Hedgehog Cafe

Really lovely cafe. Was staying nearby and came here for breakfast - good quality, great choice, not too expensive. Finely staff and generally a pleasant vibe in the place. Love the potted plants outside.

The Ffrwd

We've lived in the area for a few years now but this was our 1st visit to the Ffrwd. Went on a Tuesday, so was 2 for 1 on the mains. Hubby had a starter as well and all meals were plentiful and enjoyed! Big portions and tasty home made chips. Service was good, young staff were welcoming and attentive. We will be back!

Caffi Cwtch

This is a lovely cafe. The staff are efficient and very friendly. The muffin rarebit with poached egg and bacon was delicious. They also have good selection of cakes.

Burger & Breakfast Bar

Not ashamed to say I pretty much eat here daily. I am a bit of a food snob which should say it all really. if you are in the area and feeling hungry then I highly recommend you stop by this place for a bite that will fill a hole.

Wheatsheaf Inn

This is my local so my partner and I come a lot. Always a warm welcome from the landlord, landlady and all the staff. The food is excellent and fantastic quality and value for money. Kev’s salt and pepper chips are the best around and Kev is more than happy to cater to your personal dietary needs. A cosy, traditional pub with a relaxed atmosphere.

The Priory Cafe

I called in this morning for a breakfast to set me up.for the day.. I was welcomed by very friendly staff. The breakfast was lovely and cooked to perfection. I also had a cup of tea which was made just how I like it..
'THANK YOU .' .... I have already recommended to my friends and I'll be calling in again :)

Railway Inn Rhosddu

This place is a little tucked away but well worth going to if you are heading to the racecourse ground or just visiting Wrexham. It has indoor and outdoor seating showing live sports. The staff were very friendly and more than willing to be helpful.There wasn’t a food offering per say other than baps on the bar, however there was a wide variety for both vegetarians and pescatarians as well as omnivores.Prices are more than reasonable and there is parking opportunities opposite.

Golden City Chinese Takeaway

A really good takeaway ! The food ( usually a chicken dish for us) has always been tasty and plenty if it. We've been using this takeaway for many years with a 4 mile drive, but it's worth it. Only slight criticism is that the chios could be better (always a little over cooked and perhaps not original !)
But don't let this put you off, everything else us superb ?

❤ Great chips-they never repeat on me! Great staff too. Highly Recommended. Reading some of the reviews here, I genuinely think these are haters & not genuine customers. They also have a loyalty scheme too, so highly recommended.❤

Stubby's Fish Bar

Had a fantastic Zing Burger, didn't know such culinary delights existed!! Tasty and filled the spot, more chippys should serve food like this. Arrived at 7.30pm and there was a really nice and funny guy there, James or Jim or something, I'll find out next time when I try the Texas burger!! Great place, highly

The Elihu Yale

Love the WooWoo. But they took my American ID card and said they had never seen anything like it and basically threatened us. (To kick us out) but it was okay and we got our woowoo and it was Wowootastic & classic. One time there was allegedly "poo" on the wall of the bathroom. People love to stare because the clientele is typically balder old men. Looking around right now I can see at least 9 in my line of sight. Bald men: 9 Bald men with hats on: 2 Woowoo: 0 Chips: 11 "Poo": 1? Hooch EDIT: I am SHOCKED. And DISGUSTED. I thought I knew this place but clearly I don't. I am in SHOCK AND AWE AND DISBELIEF. I am seriously considering going to the hospital right now. I am shaking. You think you know you know a place. Then the waiter comes and not only SLAMS the ketchup bottle closed but also the mayonnaise (the big one maybe 500mL). The whole entire table shook. I was so scared. I am sick to my stomach. Bringing my review down from the previous five stars. Also now that I think about it my Raspberry Refresher was more orange. But the decor is nice which is why this is staying at a solid 4 stars.

Expresso Cafe & Outside Catering

As above. Food is great and prices are cheap. Large portions and lots to choose from. The staff could be a bit more welcoming but if you're after a good cheap meal give it a try

Maxim M&G Bar & Restaurant

Wow I would definitely recommend to try this restaurant - the pork cutlet was one of the best we’ve ever had, generous size and the batter was so crispy, the roast beef was so tender and delicious. ❤️ lovely atmosphere and friendly service, 10/10!

Chirk Chinese - The Steak Bar

We loved the food from here and it was absolutely rammed with customers when I was in, that should tell you all you need to know.
Don't let the appearance put you off you don't eat what the building looks like, you won't be disappointed

Had a veggie pizza and a four seasons pizza with a portion chips, all were hot tasty and delicious. The order was ready spot on when I got there to collect. I will definitely be going again.
