26 Brook St, IlkleyWe hadn’t tried Sri Lankan food before and really enjoyed it - the waitress was helpful in helping us choose a good selection of the tapas style dishes. We went for 4 to share including a chicken curry, prawn curry, vegetable noodle dish and Asian burgers. We also had a side of coconut rice. The service was good and our food came quickly- the flavours were lovely and fresh. Good value meal in pleasant surroundings.

10 Wells Rd, IlkleyOur first time dining at Quinta after a recommendation from a friend and it definitely won’t be our last. Welcoming and relaxing atmosphere and absolutely amazing food. I had the lobster ravioli and the beef and cheese in filo pastry both from the specials menu and it was honestly the best meal out I’ve had in a long time. The staff were all super friendly and attentive and our waitress was lovely.

Beautiful decor and interesting paintings and ornaments. \nLovely wine list with very knowledgeable Sommelier, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone £59:95 for Sunday lunch but 2/3 Snacks before all amazing and then Starter,Main, Dessert. All very good but the beef and vegetables were fabulous. \nThe bill was about £130 a head after two bottles of wine and coffees between the 6 of us,

Red Lion Hotel
Main St, Burley in Wharfedale, IlkleyThe pub is under brand new management, so were offering a temporary limited menu, still plenty of choice, and beautifully cooked and presented by Chris, the new landlord. We were a group of six, we all enjoyed the lunches we had.
The new landlord and landlady were wonderful, welcoming, couldn't do enough for us. We have booked lunch there again in two weeks time. Looking forward to seeing the pub go from strength to strength in the weeks to come.

Although it a bit of a journey from home for an afternoon tea we have been each year on my wife's birthday for the last 3 years.
The staff are always so friendly and the afternoon tea is one of the best we have ever had, with very genious portions, good job doggy bags were available. Perhaps a few more savoury items would be nice
For the previous 2 years we have eaten on the terrace overlooking to beutiful country side where we were allowed to bring our dogs, this year however with bad weather we had to eat inside which mean we had to leave the dogs at home but still a very enjoyable experiance.
While a retirement village resutant is not the first place I would think of for a great afternoon tea, I would thoroughly recommend it,
The other food items look great as well, perhaps an excuse to go back and try more that just an afternoon tea.
I am sure we will continue to visit.

28 Brook St, IlkleyThis was the best kebab I’ve had in my 15 years of eating kebabs. The chips were perfect, the cheese atop most and below was sumptuous. They layered it like a lasagna. Every bite was a treat which left me wanting more. The kebabs meat itself was juicy AF. The sauces balanced the chaos. I woke up thinking about it. Recommend to a friend.

Our waitress was very polite and helpful although service could have been quicker- a 2 year old doesn’t like to wait a long time for her pizza!\nWhat was great was the young man( didn’t catch his name but he will know he was!) who retrieved our granddaughters balloon when it floated up to the ceiling!!He was so good , he got step ladders and then someone brought a vacuum out- it made Florence very happy and saved the day! Above and beyond the call of duty but it saved the day!!!

31-33 Brook St, IlkleyCalled here for an early dinner as I have visited before, with family. The terrace upstairs is lovely. The staff are great very friendly and attentive. I ordered a salad as a starter which was lovely, light and fresh. I then had a small spaghetti carbonara which was very rich and a little too greasy for me. It’s a simple Italian dish of mainly egg to create the sauce but this one has extra creaminess and fatty bits of bacon or ham in. I think simple classic food is best but otherwise a lovely meal thank you.

They are 1 of the only pizza places round here that have a vegan cheese option unless you want to order from a chain which we don't! Being dairy intolerant and not vegan, I love that I can create my own vegan cheese pizza with meats on it, and it is honestly so delicious! Can't recommend enough.

9 Wells Rd, IlkleyHad a short break in Ilkley and discovered it’s best to book on Sundays and Wednesdays! However, we were fitted in with just a 30minutes wait at 20.30.
The special saimah’s restaurant offers is four courses for £12.95 these evenings.
What a great idea to get people in on slower nights - offer is all year round.
Four courses are:
poppadum and pickle tray

rice or naan.
Pickle tray was excellent - two more than are usually offered, poppadum okay but could have been tastier.
We had chicken jalfrezi and chana paneer balti. Both excellent - very happy with my balti as it combined my favourite pulse as it’s such a nutty bean, paneer was plants and all a lovely flavour.
The jalfrezi was ‘the best I’ve tasted’ according to my partner.
Fresh naan and honest pilau rice.
Will return and next time book for an earlier time.
